I would like to express my sincere…

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Andrejus Negatinas, who attended my property today at Plot 730.

Andrejus replaced the panel under the bathroom unit and applied the sealant to the floor area around the basin. After he had completed the sealing, I cleaned the floor and accidentally removed part of the newly applied sealant. Despite this, Andrejus was extremely patient and kindly re-applied the sealant again without any hesitation.

He also ensured the area was thoroughly cleaned after completing the works, which I greatly appreciated. In addition, he kindly fixed the front door latch, which had been coming loose repeatedly, even though this was outside the original scope of work. He also re-sealed the ground floor WC neatly.

Andrejus’ workmanship is of a very high standard, and his attitude was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout. It is clear that he takes great pride in his work, and his attention to detail truly stood out.

Please pass on my thanks to him — he is a real credit to the team.

Great work on fixing a bathroom leak

Andreas has been helpful throughout the whole experience, as well as fixing the problems and attending the recommended repairs. He’s also educated us on the problem and the root cause which helps us identify any issues in the future earlier. He made sure to keep us informed on the work he’s done throughout the fixes.

Good quality and good value in a great location

House is good quality and good value in a great location, very few snags. We were treated in a very friendly, fair and professional manner throughout the buying process and overall are very happy.

Freehold in name only: be very careful before buying from Keepmoat

I bought a freehold property from Keepmoat in good faith. What I (and many others on our estate) later discovered is that this is effectively a “fake freehold” arrangement — where homeowners are locked into permanent private estate charges with little transparency, no meaningful control, and no easy route to challenge costs.

Over the past 18–24 months, residents have had to fight simply to obtain basic information: how charges are calculated, what work is actually carried out, who owns the land, and whether council adoption was ever genuinely explored. Responses have been slow, inconsistent, and often contradictory. Meetings have taken place only after sustained pressure, and even then, clear answers have been avoided.

The most concerning part is the private management model imposed by default. Homeowners are told this arrangement is “standard practice”, yet it results in thousands of pounds extracted from ordinary families over time for minimal visible maintenance — with no democratic oversight and no access to the protections leaseholders at least have.

Prospective buyers should understand this clearly:

You may be buying a freehold house without freehold freedoms.

You may be tied indefinitely to a managing agent you didn’t choose.

Challenging charges or seeking alternatives can be exhausting and one-sided.

Once you’ve completed, your leverage is extremely limited.

If I had understood the long-term implications at the point of purchase, I would have thought very carefully before proceeding.

I strongly advise anyone considering a Keepmoat property to ask hard questions in writing before buying:

Who owns the land long-term?

Can the council realistically adopt it?

Are estate charges capped?

What rights do freeholders actually have if things go wrong?

Learn from our experience — because once you’re in, it’s very difficult to get out.

A terrible terrible company.

Its only a matter of time before selling fake freeholds catches up with them. Zero customer service. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

June Ibeh was a great technician.

Jude was a great guy. Very composed and diligent. Paid attention to everything that needed to be done. He explained how it would be carried out to me before he commenced the job. He took his time to correct all the initial uncompleted task that was done by the previous technician. He is very professional in his approach. He cleaned up after he finished. I will rate his customer service 5 🌟.

Don't every buy from Keepmoat

Don't every buy from Keepmoat. No customer support after moving in. Not sure how they are legally allowed to still stay in the business. Look at Facebook groups about keepmoat before you consider any purchase from them. You will hear all nightmare stories and it will be an easy decision to skip their sites.

Update: They advised someone will contact in 24 hrs. But after 3 days no one contacted me. They are untrustworthy! They don't have a customer service team.

Great technicians to fix poorly finished house

We had to have a repair done on our shower in our new build home as there was a cracked tile which had been caused by the original installation, which should have been corrected at the time. But if course these homes are built for speed, and not finish quality.
But that being said, when it came to Keepmoat rectifying the issue, it was sorted out fast and done in a very professional manner by the technician, Clint.
Clint was very polite, friendly and good at his job. For the work that he has done, we would give him 5 stars. It's just unfortunate that he had to fix an issue that shouldn't have been left when the house was signed off.

KHNW - Aftercare Technician for Dee Gardens

KHNW - (technician) from the Aftercare Team for Dee Gardens has been outstanding (a credit to the team). His workmanship is really good quality with a keen eye for detail, which is critical for aftercare service to properties. He puts things right (then always checks if the customer is happy with his works before he leaves). He’s always very pleasant, well mannered and cleans up after himself. From a cleanliness point of view, you would never know that he has been, which is just what is needed.

Performance review

The company has a very strong sales team, who were professional and helpful throughout the purchasing process. However, my experience with customer service and after-sales support has been disappointing. The after-sales team often comes across as reluctant to assist, despite support being included under the warranty for the new build. Overall, while the sales experience was excellent, customer service is not.

Contractor - Oliver Morson absolutely Fantastic!

Oliver Morson attended my property to do some work. I must say I was very impressed with his professionalism and honesty. He always maintained contact to confirm times of attendance and when he came not only did he do his job but he also did some other jobs for me as well.

He is a true example of professionalism and people could learn so much from his etiquette.

I have also passed my praises for Oliver to the site manager as he truly went above and beyond to ensure all work was completed to the highest standards.
