Poor service. Not given any clear information or paperwork without chasing for it. Was told car was serviced prior to collection and only evidence is a made up word document with a tick list, that too... Mehr ansehen

5 star customer service
Brought our car here for years and the customer service has Always been poor, however last week I was welcomed by two lovely gentlemen. I dealt with a young man called Josh he advised us it was his first week in the workplace so was still getting to grips with things. He was ever so helpful very kind and well spoken lovely young man he was. He went the extra mile to keep me updated on progress and even walked me out to my car afterwards he deserves a 10/10 his parents should be very proud.
Surprise buy
We called in at the Kia garage just to get an idea of what cars are on the market, not really thinking of changing our car just yet.
We were welcomed by James Hargrave and he advised to look around at leisure.
We saw a car that really took our interest, we asked James about the car and was told all the history and details.
We went home and slept on it then the next day we had a test drive and James gave us some more details, we got a good deal for our old car plus a service and mot thrown in.
James helped us with all the paperwork (tax, log book, GAP and even helped with our bank transfer.
Excellent 5 star service throughout, with no pressure or hard sell.

Go elsewhere
Possibly the worst customer service. Looking for a new EV travelled to Keighley Kia. Salesman new nothing about the car and spoke nonsense throughout. Told me much of his family life, which I was obviously not interested in and gave his opinions on many things. Went elsewhere.
repeat custom from us
bought our van from here, and its been back to be serviced and looked after since. the service guys are very helpful keep you updated and its there to collect at the end fo the day as agreed
Staff Attitude Terrible
Bought a used car from here back in July 2021 - would not recommend.
Started with me wanting to view the car and book in for a test drive, was told and tried to be persuaded to not book in for the day I wanted and had chosen as the sales guy who was dealing with me, only dealing with me I may add as he sent me a few additional photos and responded to the original enquiry, was off on that day and due to the fact he wanted to make commission on the sale he would like to follow the sale through - his words not mine. At this point I purely wanted to see the condition of the car and test drive - not once was mentioned I would be purchasing the car on the day.
Was passed over to someone else, James, went to do the viewing on behalf of him and he was taking the responsibility over his colleague. James must of thought the sun must of shone very brightly out of his own backside as I can only describe him as egotistic. Clearly by his attitude, lack of respect, and all round ‘superior’ behaviour this totally put me off purchasing the car. I was there that day after seeing the car ready with cash - not a small amount either but again besides the point ready to buy the car there and then.
Went home and I couldn’t stop thinking about the car - called back and decided it’s fine I’ll go ahead with the purchase of the car not because I had an amazing experience or because this car was sold to me with a high level of service - the car sold itself.
Arranged a day to pick the car up in a weeks time, at this point I had already sold my car so means of transportation I was without for a week. Arranged to collect the car around 11am to get an email at 8.30am that same morning saying the car had not yet being MOT, taxed or serviced even though the had prior notice for collection and had plenty of time and assured me that this would be completed as I was chasing up the MOT.
All in all the car was picked up, but again at the dismay of the garage it ruined the whole experience for me. If this wasn’t the car that I 100% wanted I would of pulled out of the sale way prior to even dealing originally with James purely on his behaviour and customer service skills that he clearly lacks. When I went to view the car in the very beginning I should of walked away then when I overheard him on the phone as he was stood less than a few metres away bad mouthing a previous customer to another colleague. And then prolonged to tell me about the prior customer and bad mouthing, using appalling language and swearing about this prior customer to a new customer he has just met.
All in all - nice car happy with my purchase but not sold by the sale staffs attitude and lack of general ability to respect customers. My advice would be don’t tell people you want the commission on the first conversation, and don’t try to be Mr Big.
My car has been to Ford dealers 4 times…
My car has been to Ford dealers 4 times to have the same sensor faults repaired under warranty. The first time it went to Harrogate Ford (now closed). The next 3 times it went to Keighley Ford. One of the recurring problems has been the Adblue tank sensor, which starts badgering me to to add some more Adblue, despite the tank being over half full and the 'range to empty' being over a thousand miles. Keighley Ford have failed to fix this particular problem twice so far (even though they had the car for a month on the last occasion) and now it needs to go back to Ford yet again. As well as being unable to fix the car, their customer service is also pretty poor. I wouldn't touch Keighley Ford with a barge pole moving forward.
Saw car on Autotrader
Saw car on Autotrader, spoke to Billy the salesman for used cars at Keighley regarding a mini cooper 69 plate with 8k miles. Asked if any bumps or scratches and if alloys had any damage.
Billy told me no damage or bumps etc.
I paid a deposit and then arranged to collect the car the following week. Its a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive from home and my current vehicle was returned to the hire company the day before so I enlisted the help of my wife in her car.
When i arrived and checked the car (as Billy did paperwork) i noticed two marks on the car. One was a stonechip which also had a dent. The other was a mark on the side of the vehicle. Plus one of the alloys had been curbed.
Billy asked the garage to touch up the stonechip and in reality this did very little.
I needed the car and had no choice but to buy (otherwise home with no car which i use for work). I suspect Billy knew this.
Feel aggrieved that this wasn't flagged when i specifically asked. I would have bought the car anyway as i needed it, but maybe would have had a discount for the damage. I could have argued, but given I had spent 2.5 hours in the car plus 2.5 hours back and then to work, it seemed pointless.
I just like things to be right and this has left a bad taste. You live and learn I suppose....
The after sales service is abysmal
The after sales service is abysmal, I would never buy a vehicle from them
I had my car serviced with them all ok
I had my car serviced with them all ok, so I booked in for the mot online and to wait, they gave me a date but no time, I contacted them 4 times with no response, I can only assume they wanted me to wait all day? in the middle of a pandemic??? No chance, had to book with another garage!
Poor customer service.
Unacceptable Behaviour Kia Ford Keighley!
Very disappointed with my dealing with Kia Ford Van Department. We bought a VW Crafter van in good faith, but having driven it for literally a day on business the radiator light came on, it overheated with steam bellowing from the vents and we had to stop on the motorway for the engine to cool down at 3am in the morning!!
Obviously annoyed and a feeling of dread that we have bought a dud, we contacted Kia Ford for advice and they were a little directionless as we lived quite a distance (90 minutes drive) from the dealership so it was eventually decided to get an opinion from a local mechanic.
The mechanic identified a coolant / water pump problem which could be linked to the head gasket which could also be a reason for so much water loss... The mechanic also identified things had been put in place to “cover up” the coolant issue. For him to investigate further he would have to remove the front of the van to get to the engine..
In the mechanic’s opinion he advised us to return the van and get a refund as there were also “underlying issues” as he felt the engine was also running noisily for a van that has only covered 39,000 miles.
At this point we agreed and contacted Kia Ford who agreed to refund us return our px and pick up the faulty one...
This would have been the end of it had I not received a text message from the dealership stating that they had looked over the van and there was nothing wrong with it and we will be billed for the bulkhead being moved at our request during the initial sale.
This is completely unacceptable behaviour by the dealership as we had bought the van outright with no finance in good faith, and then having to change insurance over, tax, roadside recovery...Why on earth would we want a refund for any other reason than the van being faulty?!? And guess what? We are within our rights to ask for a refund on faulty goods!!
I tried ringing the gentleman back to challenge him about his text comments but he didn’t pick up nor did he ring me back after I left him a voicemail with my views... And guess what? The van was back on autotrader the very next day!!
Clearly they don’t give a monkeys about what we said, so be aware. It’s a LWB VW Crafter DA63 WAJ on at £9995,00 plus vat.
