Hi Mervyn,

I am really sad about this review. Your order was placed on Monday night, April 20th, and was shipped the very next day, April 21st, and a tracking number was emailed to you. Your package is in transit and is currently delayed by the post office. You never notified us at all about any issue with your order and left us a negative review for shipping your order quickly.

We are not the post office. We have absolute no control over delays with the carrier. Your package was insured, and if there was a problem, why not let us know instead of leaving a company a negative review when you know we shipped your item quickly? I just don't get it.

Lost my package

Lost my package, I called it in and was told that 15 days was not reached. I was not aware of this procedure, I waited called again and was told the same thing. I re-read my number, I was giving a tracking number and shortly after that I received my package. But the person on the call was very rude. I don't need a apology, just do better. I understand you can't control all situations but we can cut them down.

Shipping Policy: Your order was processed and shipped promptly from our facility. Once a package is with the carrier, we must adhere to their specific protocols.

Postal Requirements: Per United States Postal Service (USPS) regulations, a formal claim for a missing package cannot be initiated until 15 days have elapsed from the mailing date. This is a mandatory waiting period set by the carrier, not a delay on our end.

Resolution: As soon as that 15-day window closed, we filed the claim on your behalf on 4/17 and provided you with the documentation. We are pleased to note that the package has since been successfully delivered.

We aim to provide clear communication regarding these third-party carrier requirements and appreciate your understanding of the postal policies we must follow.

I am not quit sure what more you would have us do? We were polite every stipe of the process and kept you up to day.

Change can be good

We have always used another company for our belts. Said company didn’t have the sizes we needed, so we took a risk and used kung fu 4 less. I’m glad we did. It shipped quickly and the order was exactly what we hoped for. Nice quality belts. My only complaint was the price match guarantee. I had a hard time reaching anyone, and that’s what initially made me nervous to place the order. The price was not matched, my emails never went through they just bounced back to me. Otherwise 5 stars.

Totally wrong size description

Totally wrong size description. The shoe was sold as men's 10.5. I take a 10 and the shoe was much too small.

As what the other negative reviews are saying, I am disgusted by the customer service also

It was all good until I realized what I got is not the one I ordered. This is not the first time we order from this company for hakamas. I ordered the next size hakama for my son and kept it for couple of months then I opened it when he needed it only to realize the one I got is the blue color not black I ordered. On their receipt it says black but the actual hakama is blue. I had it for couple of
Months already so couldn’t even return it.

Wow I did state that I kept it for couple of months so I cannot even claim for return but clearly you did not even read my review and ASSUMED I AM COMPETITOR. I still have my receipt order number 261795 ( I cannot upload picture so you send me your email address I will take a photo of your receipt that says BLACK ON IT) every time we go to tournament people tell us why we bought blue not black. READ REVIEW FIRST BEFORE YOU ACCUSE OF YOUR CUSTOMER

Simple apology would have been better than this since we’ve been using it clearly having no intention of returning it and it was YOUR/TRUSTPILOT system to send me an email to leave a review

What a nice way to deal with a negative review. Blaming customer for not contacting them instead of apologizing for their mistake of sending wrong color item at first place. Keep up the good work. Cant believe I ordered total 4 hakamas 2 white 2 supposed to be black from you but you just lost one customer and hope you lose more after this horrible customer service reply

Most other GOOD COMPANIES would have apologized first for sending out wrong item unlike you. HAVE A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU ARE SELLING 20 DOLLARS HIGHER THAN OTHER BIG COMPANIES

You also have a very nasty way of admitting your fault of sending wrong item to your customer who previously ordered multiple items before as yourself stated. First you deny that I didn’t place an order with you accusing me that I’m a competitor which turned out I DID PLACE AN ORDER WITH ORDER NUMBER AND RECEIPT and now blaming me for not contacting you when I had no intention of such complaining until YOUR SYSTEM ASKED ME TO LEAVE A FEEDBACK. Such a nasty customer service

If you are a customer who leaves negative reviews without first contacting the company about your issues, you are not the type of customer we seek. Since we shipped multiple orders to you correctly, as you indicated below, most people would have given the company an opportunity to fix the error before leaving a negative review. Had you done that, we would have been happy to assist you—which is why we have a 4.7-star rating with over 10k reviews. We hope you have better luck elsewhere.

This customer placed this order on 12/16/2025. They never contacted us once, yet they are leaving a negative review after five months have passed? There was not one email or phone call regarding any issues. You must be a competitor, especially since your last order shows you purchased a white hakama, not a black one.
