Great product. Terrible order management

Website stated delivery within 5-7 working days. Received not a single update after my order. The SHOP app is useless and provided no information on tracking. Chased a week later as to when to expect delivery. The company is not easy to get hold of, but I did get a reply by email and they advised the product hadn't yet been dispatched — that's 10 days after ordering! Delivery was kindly rearranged for the date I'd be home, and the products did arrive as promised. However, three days after the products were delivered, I received an update saying the products were on their way! Absolutely no confidence in reordering from this company.

Appalling customer service

We ordered two copper shades for our new property. We were initially concerned as we received no communication in regard to delivery and it took over a month for our order to arrive. When it did arrive, one of our shades was damaged to the point of no use. The returns process meant you have to update them within 24 hours of receiving a damaged item. As we were moving into a renovated property, this time had surpassed. Instead of initially complaining we ordered a NEW shade which also arrived completely smashed to pieces. We attempted to contact Lampsy on MULTIPLE occasions and received absolutely no response. We have now had to order a new shade from a different, trustworthy company to ensure it is in good condition. The customer service was appalling. Would not recommend ordering from here. We will be attempting to claim our money back due to mis-selling products.

I Extremely Poor Customer Service – Issue Still Unresolved

Order number 655572
I purchased a floor lamp that arrived faulty and raised a return request on 25th July. After an initial reply asking when I could return the item, I responded promptly—but since then, I’ve received no further communication or support.

Despite multiple follow-ups, the company has failed to take any action or even acknowledge my messages. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I’ve made it clear that I want a refund, but I’ve been left waiting with no resolution.

I’m now having to consider a chargeback through my bank just to get my money back. I would have preferred to resolve this directly, but their lack of response leaves me no choice.

Very disappointed—would not recommend.

Disappointed and Frustrated – Misleading Delivery Claims

I really wish I had read reviews before ordering. The company claims delivery within 5–7 working days — this is completely false. I'm now on day 6 (working days), and my order still hasn't even shipped.

Because of this, my builder is now having to re-arrange the electrician, which is costing us both time and money. Customer service has been unhelpful and is either unable to count working days or is deliberately giving misleading information.

This experience has been awful. I would not recommend this company to anyone needing reliable service or timely delivery.

Non-existent customer service

I placed an order on the 23rd June with all items in stock and a delivery lead time of 5-7 working days, and only one of the items has arrived 10 working days later with no advice of when the other items will be dispatched. I've received no response to my emails even though they have a response time of 2 working days and they don't return calls when you leave voicemail messages. Appalling customer service, so if I were you, I'd avoid using them!

I ordered a lamp which seemed to be in stock. After over a week, I received an email saying the order was delayed and that they would dispatch it 3 weeks after expected. I decided to cancel the order so I emailed the customer service team. I received an automated email saying that the response time is 2 business days or earlier but it’s now 8 business days, the order hasn’t been cancelled and the money hasn’t been refunded. Not even a response to say that they are looking into it!!! I tried their chat and same situation…. Not even a response….
Awful company and horrible customer services!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

Ordered a light fitting on 3rd April and heard nothing from them. After two weeks, in which time is sent multiple chases and still heard nothing, I then raised a dispute with my bank and informed Lampsy. At that point, they came back to say there had been an ‘error’ processing my order but it would be delivered in the next week. By then I’d read all the terrible reviews online and I wanted to cancel given the poor customer service and I was suspicious of the company. They told me a refund had been issued but two weeks later there was still no refund. I chased further, emails, phone call etc and it was only when I threatened to go to Trading Standards that I got a response, and again I was told there had been an ‘error’ with the refund and it would now be processed in the next couple of days (this was the first week of May). They sent screen shots but the amount they claim to have refunded me was out by £10 from what I had originally paid which seemed odd and didn’t show the whole process just snippets. I forwarded this to my bank, and after speaking to their disputes team, as far as they can see no attempts have been made to refund me, and the disputes team have a strong case and will continue to follow-up. I’ve been waiting for over a month now for this refund. If you’re due a refund from this company, it may be best to get your bank involved to allow them to handle it as it’s very difficult to get a response from anyone at Lampsy and it’s not worth the stress. In all Lampsy’s emails they say they are a small company which is why it sometimes takes a long time to respond. I always try to be extra patient with small companies but if this is a genuine business the customer service really needs to improve, however like others on here, the experience has just made me question if it’s a scam.

Didn’t get any confirmation that they sent the package. No one answers the phone, no reply on my emails… I left a voicemail, no one even bothered to call me back. Took my money and disappeared!

Zero customer service

I have an electrician waiting to install my light but I cannot contact Lampsy in any way. I tried email, phone, chat .... nothing since my order confirmation. If you're willing to take my money have the courtesy to get back to me when I make contact. Not sure if this company is a scam company but would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

I wish I had read reviews first. Ordered and paid for 2 lights on 22/04/25 and order confirmed, invoice received and delivery supposed to take 3 days but since then nothing, no tracking, no emails which had me worried. Then i read reviews!. Sent emails to ask when they'll be delivered, left voicemail and tried livechat. Very frustrated! Customer service is non-existent.

No deliery after 3 weeks, no response from Lampsy

I ordered a £150 floor lamp from Lampsy more than 3 weeks ago. Nothing has arrived, and the tracking information incorrectly says delivery has been attempted (I called the parcel company, it hasn't). Tried calling Lampsy multiple times - they keep you on hold and then redirect to an answering machine. No-one calls back. Avoid at all costs. Will leave my order number in case anyone feels like helping.

Annoyingly my order is not yet showing as despatched though I ordered several days’ago and no update on where it is. It is a gift and so it’s not arrived in time so disappointed.

I placed an order over a week ago

I placed an order over a week ago, which is supposed to be despatched within 5-7 days. I have not yet received a despatch confirmation email. I have also called many times - which eventually just goes to voicemail and no one returns my call. And no reply to my email. Have they stolen my money? Will need to take this up with credit card company?

The lamp arrived and it was beautiful…

The lamp arrived and it was beautiful however it wasn't very well wrapped up and got damaged during transport. Been trying to get a replacement for weeks now however even to this day that hasn't happened yet. I have ordered another one to ensure it arrives on time on site and can be installed
