Having previously engaged Blacks Solicitors for conveyancing services more than a decade ago - during which time I was impressed by their professionalism and expertise - I decided to return to them for assistance and advice in drafting my Will. I would like to extend a special thank you to Sophie Balfour (Paralegal) for her patience,  empathy and proactive responsiveness and for delivering an efficient service within a tight timeframe. Based on this positive experience, I would return to Blacks Solicitors for any future legal needs/advice.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the conduct of the individual solicitor handling my matter. I had previously used the firm without issue under a different case handler; however, problems arose after my case was transferred to another case handler. Communication was poor, with material developments affecting my case not being relayed to me in a timely manner. In addition, funds were requested at a point when the transaction was not realistically ready to complete, which caused unnecessary concern and difficulty.

As a first time property investor, we chose Blacks to represent us on our bridging finance and conveyancing. We ere looked after by Hannah and Leanne, both of whom showed excellent professionalism, efficiency and were always there on the other end of the phone when we needed them. Everything was explained in simple terms and I felt confident having them both on our side the whole time.

We feel lucky to have such stellar representation and would not hesitate to use their services again should the time come.

I’ll start by saying that I normally really don’t enjoy dealing with solicitors. The process often feels stressful, slow, and difficult to navigate. This experience was the complete opposite.

From start to finish, communication was excellent. Rasheda was clear, responsive, and proactive, keeping us informed at every stage and explaining things in a way that actually made sense. Questions were answered quickly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Accessibility was also a huge positive, it was easy to get in touch, easy to understand what was needed from us, and the whole process felt well managed and calm rather than overwhelming.
