We ordered a bespoke bathroom mirror cabinet.

The cabinet was delivered 6 weeks late. Because of the issues below, it still cannot be installed, so the total delay to our bathroom works is now more than 2 months.

When we inspected the cabinet after delivery, the clear glass shelves and the two aluminium side panels from the agreed final specification were not present.

The cabinet also has visible dark seams/gaps on the body. These gaps are not consistent: they appear and disappear along the cabinet, which makes the finish look unfinished and unprofessional. We were not told before production that this would be an expected visible feature of the bespoke cabinet.

We contacted them and asked them to resolve the issues. It took them around two weeks to respond, and they denied that the shelves and side panels were missing and said the visible seam was expected. No satisfactory remedy has been offered.

Very disappointing experience for a bespoke product. We are now seeking a refund.

I made a purchase with light mirrors unfortunately my order was delayed a week and then delayed again.
I emailed light mirrors as I desperately wanted my mirror and Joby responded to my email very quickly informing me that he would personally monitor the delivery within a couple of days I received my mirror and I could t be happier the mirror is lovely and the customer service I received from Joby was fantastic!!

The mirror was great, just as it looked on the website. The customer care was brilliant too - once ordered I was disappointed to receive an email saying delivery would be delayed. When I received a second email saying it would be further delayed, I contacted customer care. They were brilliant - In particular Joby, who then ensured my order was expedited and delivered as soon as possible. He even followed up with an email once I had received the mirror to make sure everything was ok. Great service!

There was a bit of confusion around the delivery date initially due to a technical issue, but Joby from customer support was excellent throughout. He kept me updated, proactively chased the order, and took ownership of the issue from start to finish.

The mirror arrived safely and looks fantastic. What stood out most was the level of customer service — it's increasingly rare to deal with someone who communicates clearly, follows through on their promises, and genuinely seems to care about the outcome.

Many thanks to Joby for all his help. A real credit to the company.

I have given this two stars because they have at least responded to emails which I appreciate. However, our order is a week late being dispatched which has been a massive pain for us. They weren't able to do anything to speed up delivery despite our appeals, citing staff outages over the last couple of weeks. I can sometimes wait when these things happen but it was time sensitive and we explained this, yet they couldn't do anything at all to help. I have asked what they can offer by way of compensation, so I will update!

UPDATE 09/06/2026: Their response below is incorrect, the order was NOT dispatched on 29th May. I was notified of a dispatch date of 5th June. Still no receipt of order to date. I have enquired about making a formal complaint with no response.

I would give the company 5/5 however the product was late. I contacted the famous Joby who immediately responded, gave me a new delivery date and kept me up to date every step of the way. I was really nervous having read some of the negative reviews however the customer service provided by Joby was excellent - thank you !

Ordered a bathroom mirror which was circular, and had a charging point, and there aren't too many of those around. It took longer than expected to despatch which impacted the fact we had bathroom fitters in. Then, when it was eventually despatched it arrived smashed, with clearly inadequate packing. It then took a further 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive but all good now having been fitted in the new bathroom. It looks great ! It has to be said that communication with the company was exceptional, and they kept me constantly updated, and were very apologetic throughout the process. Joby Aguilera in customer service was especially helpful, and it did feel that he and they were genuinely concerned. So we'll done for that. All done now and happy with the product.

We recently purchased a back lit round mirror with shaver socket, of which there are not many on the market. It was also very satisfying purchasing a British made product!
Even though there was a delay in receiving the mirror, the communication from Customer Services was faultless; regular email updates provided by Alelei keeping us the customer up to date.

Even if it was a delay with mirror dispatch, the communication from Joby was excellent. I was informed about the alternative dispatch day and my order was treated as a priority.
Mirror has arrived, now looking forward to seeing it in our bathroom.

Problems getting my order out and a couple of knock backs on manufacturing and dispatch dates which was annoying as my electrician was booked in for works .
Joby in customer service was excellent and kept me informed throughout the process which allowed us to reshuffle things .
The mirror is great and is the second one I have purchased.

Excellent mirror exactly as described. What’s really made this company stand out is the amazing service offered by Joby. She emailed as soon as I placed my order and gave me regular updates on my order. Followed the tracking and emailed me on the day. So helpful, professional and kind. I would 100% recommend and will be using this company again.

I have used Illuminated Mirrors for several years now and always been impressed by the quality of products. Recently I ordered a mirror cabinet. There was a supply issue and the delivery was delayed. Although this was inconvienient the Customer Services Team were execptional (shout out to Joby who followed my case personally!). They kept me updated by email and voice message and tracked the delivery on the day, literally to the minute. First class service.

It is not the first time I have purchased mirrors from Light Mirrors and as well as the product being fantastic, what really stands out is their BRILLIANT customer service. I have dealt with Jody, who has always been really attentive and really good with sending udpates. I knew at all times when to expect the mirrors and I had a really tight deadline which he worked very hard to meet. Not only that, but the mirrors arrived early (on both occasions!) I would really recommend using this company.

Avoid this company, their website and your order will state next day delivery. They will do nothing but apologise and say they will escalate the issue but do nothing about it, say they will get back to you next but will ignore you.
They are happy to take your money and even leave the website a week after stating next day delivery, with excuses that it’s been changed in the background!!!

Great mirror, very pleased with everything. Although there was a delay in the order Joby kept me informed throughout and also provided excellent follow up after delivery.

My mirror has been delayed again having been purchased weeks ago. It now is likely not to arrive in time for the bathroom fitting which is going to cost me additional money and hassle to rearrange. Agree with other reviews that this feels like a scam. Unacceptable.

I had a fantastic experience with Light Mirrors. Customer service in the hands of Alelei wanted for nothing. There could have been some hiccups along the way but she managed the transaction perfectly, following it along every step of the way.
