Good range of DIY kit. Well described and prices competitive. Own brand tools much better quality than many on eBay / Amazon. Only gripe is delivery charges.

Usual Machine Mart efficiency. Delivered quickly and all as described. Nice to see that they're using secondhand boxes for shipping goods, which cuts down waste

My son and I have dealt with you for many years. It is a pity that the Broadheath shop closed, it was very convenient for us whereas the nearest store to us is much further away, so I went for online shopping, looked up what I wanted, placed an order and it all went very smoothly, so no problems there. Well done.

Nearly always have what I'm looking for, prices reasonable, good range on products, reasonable delivery times and branches within reach if the parts are urgent.

Absolute joke of a company! Ordered an air cooler that was showing in stock, waited 3 days to be told it's out of stock until 2027. Don't waste your time, shop elsewhere.

Yes, another victim of their so called defective website that seemingly allows people to order items that are not in stock, namely an air con unit, similar to the last person's review, paid for next day delivery, by the next morning still hadn't received a tracking number, so called them, only to be met by bare faced lies about one of the delivery vans not turning up, and rest assured I would certainly have it by the next day, and then had the audacity to point out that my 24 hour delivery fee would be refunded as a gesture of goodwill! Nothing to do with the fact they can't provide the service I'd paid for, then came the email, unfortunately we are unable to fulfill your order would you like a lesser, totally unsuitable replacement or a refund, had that been said to me when I first contacted them, it wouldn't have been quite as bad, however, the brazen lies definitely don't sit well, trading standards will be next on my mailing list, and moadmin, please don't cheapen yourselves by trying to dignify this with a reply and placitudes. All those affected by your alledged 'website issues' are more than aware of the truth. Perhaps you should be recruiting a procurement agent that pcan actually do his job, rather than blame tech issues...

Lovely little air compressor works a treat blows all dust/dog hairs out of car without using vacuum, easy to use as it can be a struggle with vacuum at my age

Order placed and next day delivery paid for. Appliance did not arrive so I contacted the and was advised it was late being despatched so it would be delivered the following day. Two hours later an email is received saying they cannot fulfil the order and offering a lesser alternative. This machine arrived after another two days and is faulty. What a car crash of a company. Won't be bothering with them again.

Ordered ladder 15/06 (32616741)…. Still waiting for a call to arrange delivery. So when I received this Trustpilot review to ask “how did we do?”, what score were you expecting? If I could have given a 0 I probably would have!!

Ordered an Air conditioner online on Monday. I understand everyone is buying one at the moment, and was happy to see Machine Mart still had them in stock.
Flicked through the page a few times to double check then pressed the button. Even ticked the option for fastest delivery (“expected tomorrow”).
Received my confirmation email.
Received my invoice email.
Following day, just hoping it would arrive before the evening. Checked my emails, and found a mail saying sorry we are unable to fitful this order, would you like something else?
I phoned them, waited ages for what appears to be 1 man fielding all calls.
He explained that it wasn’t a staff problem, but their computer. Their “computer” had allowed orders to happen even though they didn’t have stock.
Now waiting 3 days for my refund.

Not happy the way I was just brushed off. No phone call to apologise, just some bloke saying “sorry, there’s nothing I can do”

Just be aware if you’re ordering a popular item, you may not get it as they probably won’t have stock, and then you’ll be out of pocket for a few days.

Next day delivery cannot be relied upon. I would suggest avoiding Machine Mart for anything time sensitive.

Norwich branch Worst customer service ever not organised and clearly not happy being at work staff were so miserable avoid them there are cheaper places

They promise next day delivery if you order before 3pm (for an extra postage fee) - BUT I ordered 9am on a Monday and at 2.30pm the following Wednesday - nothing received! I emailed Customer Service yesterday and no reply. This clearly isn't an isolated incident reading some of the reviews on here. If you need it Next Day - then go somewhere else!

Ordered a garden strimmer almost two weeks ago now. Paid up front. No further correspondence. When I chased (and used the chat function) I was given the response: "Hi We are very busy and will chase this for you and call you back in due course". Helpful - still waiting for the call back. I have had an email to say it is out of stock until 9th July (presumably this year!). Would have been good to have been told about this sooner. Will not be using MachineMart again!!!!

I was told at point of sale,23.6.26 if I ordered by 3.00 I would receive next day delivery, at a cost of £9.00+vat, I ordered at 13.51 so well within the 3.00 deadline, It's now mid-day 24.6.26 and nothing has arrived, when I found the dpd tracking it stated they haven't even received it yet, I phoned machine mart and was told it's not even left the warehouse, I now know by the comments on here this is not an isolated occurrence and yet machine mart knowing this still took my money for something they could not fulfil, I then get told I will get it thursday or friday,,, so not next day at all then is it!
I cant even collect from my nearest mm shop [assuming they have one] unless I pay in full for another one as apparently they cant transfer the sale? I voiced my annoyance at this pathetic way of operating a company in such a misleading fashion and the condescending comes back with pseudo insults, I can't deal with such people. I shall not be using machine mart again.

The staff in Norwich are friendly and really helpful. It’s always a pleasure to shop there and have a laugh with them.
Range is good and prices not viscous.
