Maggiano’s Boston MA
Maggiano’s Boston MA
First I’d like to say that we live about 40 miles west of Boston, whenever we are in Boston and time allows we love to eat at Maggiano’s. Have been enjoying this Maggiano’s location for about 15 years. Yesterday we did NOT enjoy it…. the lunch service was fine, although we had to ask for S&P (powder S&P) used to be fresh cracked pepper, also butter or oil for bread (frozen rolls). Husband ordered a bowl of Minestrone that was served with his entree (about 5oz of soup $11). Husband had Alfredo with Shrimp, I actually believe there was NO cheese in this Alfredo was a watery white sauce with no taste and the shrimp were tough and tasteless, very small lunch portion $31. I and a friend who we raved to about this restaurant before going in had the lunch combo of ceaser salad with a half chicken parm sandwich… the 3 bites of salad were left over from night before, soggy and browning lettuce… the sandwich again 3 bites was a dry peice of frozen breaded chicken between 3 pieces of the same frozen rolls put on table earlier. Sandwiches came with very thick fries which might have been OK if they weren’t covered in untoasted sesame seeds…. had to ask for and wait for ketchup. One person in our party had a Bloody Mary the other 2 had tap water. Bill with tip $122.45… we would have been better off throwing the money out the window on the Pike on the way home. I was so disappointed… another restaurant lowering quality while raising prices. We will find another go to restaurant on our next trip to Boston!
