Mansell McTaggart proved to be the best choice when I was looking for a flat in Hove. Harry, in particular was super helpful and guided me through the process and dealt with any issues straight away in a very friendly and professional manner. The whole experience was very positive and I'd highly recommend the service.

Initially all went well. Great photos and floor plan attracted people quickly via Rightmove. But after agreeing a sale, the sales progression process was poor and frustrating. I felt it was more about “managing expectations” rather than prioritising and communication. But we got there in the end but can’t help feeling that was mainly due to other people’s efforts.

Due to emails sent which I have now been shared due to divorce. I am taking legal action very soon on the company and one individual.

Most unprofessional act I have ever had to witness when they don’t know the truth.

And when you have done everything in your power to sell the house, and they just don’t try and sell it. Ring doorbells. Give the client a brochure and stay outside on your phone.

I used Mansell McTaggert mainly because I have used Ben Frankling in the past and there has always been positive and professional outcome. Having met the other members of the team it has been just as positive. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly and have able to sort any issues quickly. What an amazing letting team at Hove, particularly Wendy & Victoria. We have been let down so many times in trying to rent somewhere but Wendy & Victoria were brilliant. Rented from Mansell McTaggert. We reported mold nothing done about it, they were not interested. We moved out and paid for a professional cleaning service £330 but they said it was not good enough and and wanted to bring in there own cleaning service and deduct from the deposit. They sent photos two weeks after moving out pointing out stuff that wasn’t even on the exit inspection report. Avoid really unscrupulous people.

The sale of my house in Partridge Green was administered by Ben Frankling of the Steyning branch of Mansell McTaggart. He was always very quick to respond to any questions and easy to communicate with. I left pretty much everything to him and all seemed to go smoothly for which I was grateful. Thank you, DB

There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to the Mansell McTaggart team - a particularly big thanks to Greg who was so incredibly helpful. From our very first viewing of the property until the moment we received the keys, the team were on hand to answer any questions we had.

Their communication is excellent, we never struggled to get hold of them and received prompt responses throughout, with regular check ins both via emails and telephone calls. Greg provided us with answers to the many questions that we had on the process and was the calm voice of reason through some stressful times (despite this being no fault of Mansell’s!)

It is very clear that the team are genuinely passionate about what they do and want to making the moving process as seamless and stress free as possible. This is something we really did appreciate.

We have just bought a house through Mansell McTaggart Storrington. Joanna, Mark and the team have been great. They have been our faithful advocates through a lengthy process, and genuinely shared our delight and relief when it all finally came good. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we were relocating some distance, and to start with they seemed slightly bemused by us wanting subsequent visits to the house when we were in the area (sometimes at quite short notice, to be fair!). This is probably applicable to many estate agents - buyers need more than 15 minutes in a house to make the purchase of a lifetime! But I don't want that to detract from a good review overall - we soon became friends and they accommodated many a visit, as well as visits from tradespeople and keeping an eye on the house while it was empty - so they went above and beyond in the end. The customer service from selling my home with Mansell Mctaggart was exceptional. They called or emailed feedback after each viewing and even called to say when they couldn't secure feedback. It made the process enjoyable and stress free

Once again Mansell McTaggart have proved themselves to be a poor estate agent. Due to their lack of diligence with checking that finances were fully in place, our house move, which was a relocation for us, have been completely upended at the last minute. I have also dealt with them in the past and have never had a good experience, they don't tell the truth, don't do their job properly and I would recommend that you don't use them. Use someone else.

Buying and selling a house is not for the faint hearted and I was very close to giving up on selling my house, but Mansell and McTaggart in Hove came through when it really mattered.

Their communication throughout the process was excellent, their marketing (videos ) made a huge impact on getting the right buyer through the door and I always felt informed and supported.

A special call-out to Joanna, their brilliant sales progressor, who was instrumental in keeping the chain together at a very crucial stage. Her calmness, patience, and practical approach made all the difference, and I can’t thank her enough.

Just before the strict 10:00 deadline, I spoke directly with the agent handling offers. He confirmed there were no offers in the £290–£300k region. I then submitted a clear, chain-free offer of £295k — well above that range — and received confirmation of receipt by email. Despite this, the property was sold to someone else with no explanation, no timestamped evidence, and no transparency. I am now gathering evidence, including recorded calls, and will escalate this to The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards to protect my rights and obstruct the sale until the matter is resolved. Buyers deserve fair treatment — not vague denials and procedural silence.

Found out today my property that I own with my husband was up for sale with this company !!!
It seems if you have keys to a property you can just invite estate agents to look and they put it up for sale , why would they not check land registry ? , who owns the property ? , what a shambles of a company does this ?

Liam Smith was absolutely fantastic to deal with from start to finish. When we booked to view what is now our new home, he was incredibly helpful and provided all the information we needed. He was friendly, kind, informative, and had a great sense of humour, which really put us at ease throughout the process.

Out of all the estate agents we met, Liam was the only one who made us feel genuinely calm and on the same level. It’s a real shame to hear that he’s no longer with the company, as he was such a great representative and made a lasting impression on us and was part of the reason why we purchased.
