McTear's Bewertungen

Handed in 3 lots of merchandise from my mothers house and after sales received a pittance of the sales price. Commission and vat (which we expected) then other fees which we had not personally been told about had been deducted. In all just over 33% had been charged. This was indeed double the amount we expected.

This was the first time we had used McTears and it will be the last.
No wonder EBay is so popular!!

Professional, friendly and just a great team !

I had an incredible experience dealing with McTears. I cannot say enough. Professional, efficient, proactive and a delightful experience. They coordinated the shipment abroad and it was beautifully executed. The coordinator I dealt with was quick with responses to my questions. 6/5 experience.

Took a piece of art for valuation last year. Not impressed by the valued go didn't seem to have much knowledge of the work and the valuation was somewhat disappointing

A very professional service. Made buying from a distance very easy with the help of Auction logistics (I'm in Wales, you're in Scotland). Well done everyone and thanks for a great service.

I have purchased both on site and on line on a few occasions and always found it to be a pleasant experience. Easy to understand rules and friendly staff make life easy peasey.

Website good, unfortunately not great - it’s difficult to manoeuvre around the site whilst bidding live.
Commission and charges are just too high....

I enjoy logging into the live auctions and bidding on an item I would like, the procedure is simple and when I have won an item, my invoice has been quick and clear. When I've needed an item shipped to me the quote was quick and fair. I only wish some of the prices realised were higher than I wish to pay.

Item I received had parts missing. McTears pointed finger at Delivery courier and vice versa. Bit rubbish really.

Easy to bid, easy to pay, easy to collect. In the current climate McTears have created a smooth process to allow buying to continue uninterrupted.

Excellent service - speedy response to questions and very helpful.

Expensive buyer premium, don't offer packing themselves but insist on using slow and expensive services such as MBE.

Excellent service. Sold 3 paintings. Result!

From Evaluation to Auction everything was explained and everything sold on the day. Cheque arrived as advised in Notice of sale.

Hanna and others have been very good and riendly. Pleased with all administration and prompt payments. I'll be back.!

Thank you and regards. Edward

During a very difficult time of dealing with a pandemic, Mctear's had their business up and running providing a great service, at this difficult time.

Very helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere in the auction house as well

Happy enough with the clearance of house and sale of items but after that I have no information on any monies due to me or for me to pay.

Very helpful experts and staff who achieved a very good price for me.

Good reception at front desk for appointment. Excellent check-in with paintings, excellent communications before and after the Sale.
