We have purchased lots of clothing at this Men's Wearhouse, but after tonight, we will never be back. We came to the store tonight, May 14th 2024 at about 8:30 at night. We had called in advance to ask if they had what we wanted in stock, and they said yes, and to come on down. We got there, and this skinny salesman was unbelievably uncooperative. We wanted our son to try on a shirt, and the salesman would not unbutton it, or let him try it on. Without even measuring our son, he just said it wouldn't fit. We asked him again, and he refused to cooperate, and was rather rude in the process. I asked him who the manager was, and he pointed to an overweight man with a beard. I approached him to complain about the treatment we had received, and he was just as rude as the other guy. I asked him the name of the district manager, and he wouldn't give it to me. We left, and purchased hundreds of dollars of clothing at Kohl's. We will never be back, and I strongly encourage anyone else reading this to avoid this store if you appreciate good service.
After realizing we needed a black suit for our black tie wedding were attending Saturday, the exchange sounded seamless & simple over the phone.
They had the suite in the correct size (& color) we needed in stock. Was told it would be at the front for us when we come in.
Came in to exchange the suit and sat around for OVER AN HOUR waiting for help. Only 2 people working & all they wanted to do was hold a phone in their hands.
NOBODY was helping customers.
WILL NEVER SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN.
DO NOT RECOMMEND
My son went in and was measured for a suit for his my daughter’s wedding. He picked up the suit 3 days before the wedding. He made the erroneous assumption that it would all fit (as a young adult his experience is limited) Come the wedding day - nothing fit. Thankfully he had a black suit - and a white shirt. He wore his black suit pants, his black jacket, his white shirt. He had to wear the vest and tie from Men’s wear house because he had no choice. He did not have a vest. The vest was ridiculous and baggy. My son looked ridiculous. I went in and told them the issues after the wedding. They took half off the cost. $123 for the rental of a vest that did not fit and a tie. That is highway robbery. I am sad because it really made him look silly in the pictures. We tightened the vest as much as possible - but it kept sliding out. Also he had forgotten that when he was 5 years old he was a ring bearer in his cousin’s wedding. He was measured in Chattanooga and went to pick up his tux at Lenox Square in Atlanta. They had no record of his existence. We spent hours while they attempted to alter what they had on hand to fit him. The suit jacket would have fit a 12 year old - but they shortened the arms to fit his. He looked like a football player with extremely wide shoulders and a very long coat. I will never allow any one I know to shop a men’s wear house ever again. It is wiser to shop a Kohl’s or Belk’s much better customer service and cheaper.
We scheduled an appointment for a Prom rental. Arrived on time, the woman was rude, told us they were busy and to sign in. I tried to explain we had an appointment, we were told to sign in and wait. A gentleman ended up fitting my son. Based on the price of rental, we decided to purchase a suit. He attempted include a $110 vest from a different line, instead of the $60 matching one. The sleeve alterations were $40. I sent my son alone to pick up his suit, I had him try it on when i got home. The jacket sleeves were not hemmed properly. We have to bring it back. Took the pants to our local tailor, because his shoes were not in yet. Another $60 for pant alterations. I was flabbergasted. Needed the waist taken in, hemmed and adjusted. These were just purchased and fitted 2 weeks ago by mens wearhouse. Overall disgusted by this entire process and I feel we were taken advantage of. I am a female completely unfamiliar with suit buying. So a "great deal" suit ended up costing upwards of $400. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
My online and customer service experience with menswearhousecwas very poor. I would not recommend this retail to anyone. After several failed attempts at making an order , it turns out my credit card was billed for all attempts forcing a block in my account. I reached out to them they re sending proof that nothing was purchased I only received a vague response se stating I should wait out 1-5 days for the charges to fall off, all this while I am without the use of my card which was blocked due to them processing for transactions that were failed . I later learnt they do not ship internationally nor via freighting companies, but even local addresses failed. It is a hassle to get through to Customer service they take hours before Alfred the AI can connect you with someone that can give sensible advice
Mens wewrhouse used to be a good place to go for a suit. About 10 years ago they had great customer service and a great selection. They had employees that knew what they were talking about and cared about the customer. I went in last month and had to wait 15 mins before anyone noticed we were there. They had to have my pants sent in as they didn't have my size. I was told 5-7 days. It was 3 weeks. When I went to pick them up only 1 person was working and she was dealing with a customer for 20 mins on the phone. Complete opposite experience from years ago.
I would have given zero stars but it wasn’t an option. This place’s service and manager in Orland Park, IL was awful. The tuxedo was overpriced and the wait for pickup was long. We had a receipt that said paid in full zero owed but when we arrived they wanted 3 cents. Seriously after spending $270 on a tux they made us hunt around for three cents. When I complained the manager tried to grab my receipt and force a refund for a wedding happening this weekend. Go somewhere else.
Worst interaction I’ve had with a retailer ever. I was sick with a Covid diagnosis and could not attend the wedding i was suited for. I was so sick that I couldn’t call to let Men’s warehouse know that I didn’t attend the wedding, which was a 5 hour flight away from my home state. Needless to say, I had to pick the suit up the day before my flight because it was impossible to pickup a suit up and travel on the same day. In any case, I thought a doctor’s note would suffice anyway and they would be understanding of the fact that I was sick and never made it on the plane. I was sorely mistaken. This worker was very rude to me and my wife, and he implied that I was dumb for failing to call the day I picked up the suit and/or brought it back the same day. Zero empathy for the fact that I literally had a 102.7 fever and couldn’t get out of bed or sit-up the day I was supposed to be traveling. After demeaning my intelligence, I pay $200 for a suit I never wore. I won’t be coming back here again.
I went to the Men’s Wear house in Beaumont Texas to get treated like crap. I ask the worker for a different size and she refused to give it me. I politely asked her if this was their policy she never responded.but She nicely gave the other people the sizes they needed they were white and one of them was a man I feel discriminated against . Well the manager did nothing but made us wait while he took care the other customers like we did something wrong. I think they tried to discourage me from getting a tuxedo being bias Of my race because the manager made a comment you have to pay in full not payments like we broke or something not telling any of the other customers anything like that. It was a horrible experience.
Not at all happy with tuxedo rental. I ordered a black one for grandsons senior prom. Originally they sent navy. Sent that back. Suit not available until day before prom so no time for adjustments. Shirt was a 4x. I ordered 2 x. Pant zipper had to be jimmied because that wasn't right. All in all a bad experience. Won't happen again.
I went shopping for a dress shirt, knowing nothing about shopping for dress shirts, I was totally ignored for 20 minutes then I asked for assistance was hastily given a shirt to get the correct size , I put it on and flagged down another no eye contact person, after another 20 minutes I took the shirt off and put it on a maniccans head and walked out, I’ve had better service at Home Depot , horrible experience
I have had a horrible experience, debating gloss with the men's suit warehouse customer service team. The shoes I purchased online did not match the picture on the website they were much glossier and when I went to return the items they tried to sell me a different product, and basically did everything within their power to not process my refund.
I have made it very clear this item is not fit for purpose and does not match the sample on the website. i.e. the images.
"Under Australian Consumer Law If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or any drop in value of the product (if you choose to keep it)."
Even after sending back the item at my own expense in a padded envelope. They continue to argue with me. It's the last time I will be shopping with them.
I purchase a suit from mens wearhouse in February of 2024, was not fitted when purchasing the suit when it came back I tried on the pants they were to long need to be fix to proper length, when I put the suit on at a out of town function the sleeves were to long the front of the coat did not fit was very baggy. I mentioned it to the sales guy he didn't do anything. He made me feel I got your money get lost. Mens wearhouse won't get more money from me with the service they showed not measuring me in the beginning to make sure I'm get a suit that I can be proud of. Every person in to buy a suit should be measured for the best fit. Had to add another $100.00 to get work done after the fact.
UPDATE 4/1/24 - I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 star. MW reached out and took responsibility for the issues. While I still wish the initial experience was better, I would use them again so that warrants an improved rating.
I was FOB (father of the bride) at my daughter's wedding this past weekend in Charleston SC. I used the alpharetta ga location for the fitting, Charleston for the pick up. We were staying in Kiawah, which was 27 miles from the Charleston location, which is about 1.5 hrs round trip. I mentioned that because I, along with every other member of the wedding party, had to make at least 2 trips to get it right. On the surface, I don't have a problem returning....stuff happens. But I had to return because my pant legs were different lengths, my sleeves were different lengths, the clasp on my pants was ripped off and the flap of fabric remaining was OBVIOUS, my shirt was the wrong size and the service was SLOW due to under staffing. They lost the FOGs order altogether so he made 3 trips. He had buttons come off and a cufflink break right before the service. The list is too long to mention everything. Trying to reach corporate to register a complaint is futile. They don't answer the phone and encourage you to text with customer service. That too is futile. All I could get them to say was "hi, this is Denise, how can I help you today", but no response after that. Texting is the absolute WORST way to handle customer issues....just be transparent and say you really don't care about customer service. Unfortunately, they're one of the few providers of tuxes regardless of your location, which works well when you have groomsmen spread out over the USA, but they are leaving the door wide open for a competitor to beat them on both service and price. Did i mention it was $280 to rent the tux, including the $12 damage and inspection fee they charge but clearly don't do. Before I wrote this review, I checked their rating in both yelp and another consumer rating site.....low 2 stars on both services (out of 5). Just a good business model gone bad by greedy Corp execs who put profits, and therefore their bonuses, above service and quality. If you're reading this review contemplating using mens warehouse for your next event, don't! Have your grooms men buy matching suits....on which they'll spend less than 280 and they'll have a new suit when it's done. Please please please don't continue to support businesses who consistently over promise, over charge and under deliver.

Went to Men's Wearhouse in Asheville on 3/15/2024 @ around 5 pm. There appeared to be 2 employees working and assisting other customers. I was completely ignored and never once was told "we will be with you soon", I was there for about 20 minutes, other customers that came in after me were waited on before me. I left and went to Jos A. Banks in Biltmore Village and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and was helped as soon as they finished with other customers. I'll never go back to Men's Wearhouse, and by the way you just lost a $600.00 sale.

Absolutely horrible. The customer service at this place is atrocious. An average trip to mens warehouse will take you over an hour minimum. I have been here multiple times and not once have I ever been helped right away or the worker doesn’t know what they are doing. Also the prices are insane. Horribly ran store.

Went in to store at flatirons. Based on sale email for merino 1/4 zip sweater. Joseph Abboud.
Same product in store and female employee in store would not match online price of 29.99. Sweater in store 39.99
Said shipping online would make it the same. Told her it’s free shipping and she still would not match. Amazing.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had several good experiences at the store in Strongsville, Ohio, across from SouthPark Mall. Mostly I bought casual clothes, like shorts and polo shirts.
Then I saw a shirt online that I wanted. To get free shipping, I ordered a T-shirt, also. The T-shirt arrived okay. Weeks later, I got an email request to review the shirt. I looked everywhere, but I could not find that the shirt was ever delivered. I could not find an email about the shirt being delivered. So I called and was told the shirt was unavailable, and my order for it was canceled. So my experience was not all that bad, EXCEPT I did not get what I wanted, PLUS I wasted significant time looking for the delivery and looking for communication about the canceled order. I would have been okay if (1) they told me the order was canceled when it was canceled, and (2) they did not ask me to review an item I never received. After reading other reviews here, I will not shop online again at Men's Warehouse.
