They did what they said they would do
They did what they said they would do. It's pretty simple, but just that puts you ahead of 90% of the people out there. Shouldn't be like that but there it is. Just keep doing what you say you'll do.

Good steel
Good steel. Solid af.
Unfortunately they still use EVRI... and the extra cost of £15 for a sub par delivery service isn't the best, so be mindful of that :/

Distinct Lack of communication
I have had no helpful contact with the company, I placed an order on the 4th Sept and it said a couple of days for delivery. Now nearly a week on and I have had no updates on my order and the customer service team have not given me an update on when I will receive my order. Is this some kind of scam?
Update 11/9/2026
Spoke to a lovely man on the phone called James who told me that it was shipped and the curriers had lost it so they re ordered it. Things like this happen however they need to improve on letting the customer know what’s happening with their order

Good Moring Harry,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it must be to be waiting for an order without receiving the update you were expecting.
We would very much like to look into this for you, but unfortunately, from the information provided in this review, we’re unable to identify the order or your customer account.
Please could you contact our Customer Service Team at info@metals4u.uk, quoting your order number and the email address used when placing the order? We can then investigate what has happened and provide you with an update.
We’re certainly not a scam, and we’re sorry that your experience has left you feeling this way. We’d appreciate the opportunity to investigate this properly and put things right where we can.
Kind Regards,

Very fast delivery
Very fast delivery, well packed up to protect it. As it’s stainless which way round should it go? It’s not ready for the fitting just yet but in a few days will be, it’s exactly the correct measurements, great. Thanks so much .

Simple small box iron order completed with no problems, as with previous orders. Only grouse being that the delivery costs far outweighed the cost of the steel but, it was a very small order.

Good afternoon,
Thank you for your continued support and for your review! We're pleased to hear that your order was completed without any problems, just like your previous orders. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the delivery cost, particularly for a smaller order where the delivery charge can feel disproportionate to the cost of the material.
