Dealt with Michael Poole Nunthorpe as buyers. They suggested that we use their in-house solicitors XYZ Law, we were told by Michael Poole that it would make the process faster and easier, it didn’t. We moved into our property and a few months later were sent a letter from a solicitors firm telling us to seek legal advice as our acting solicitors ( suggested by Michael Poole) had been served an intervention, meaning they had been shut down for dishonesty. Our post completion work was left incomplete despite us paying in full over £2,000 for our solicitors. We were told that to have the work complete by a different firm the cost would be £480. We made Michael Poole aware of this and how disappointed we were that we trusted their advice based on their wonderful reputation, and as a result have found ourselves under immense stress and facing financial burden. Had we not listened to their advice we wouldn’t be in this position and out of pocket. The response from Michael Poole was abysmal, they told us to avoid the cost we could carry out the work ourselves, despite having paid for this work to be done and the fact that we are not qualified solicitors- again we explained this to Michael Poole and didn’t even receive the decency of a response! We have been left with stress, financial burden and disappointment.

Leanne and Jack are so helpful and professional. Their communication is excellent and every step of the process is explained. I would definitely recommend them and would have no problem recommending them to a friend.

Honestly could not fault them, they was amazing and went above and beyond to help me with a not so straight forward sale.

They are fast with responses and deal with matters and at a point in my sale I was feel very disconnected with my sale and not very informed by other people, but these guys had no problem keeping me updated and made me feel part of my own house purchase again.
