They need to give their workers a lesson on the rules of the road. Just because you are indicating doesn't mean you can cut someone up.

The worst management I have ever come across in my working career. Management will constantly ask their employees to break UK Employment Laws as they see this as you doing them a favour. Management believe that they're doing you an incredible favour by allowing you to have your holiday entitlement. They had set up an email address claiming that it was an HR email address, and that email address is not being advertised on the internet anymore as I have completely rumbled them about it being a fake HR email address. They are furious about that, and I am being targeted by them with every opportunity that comes their way. Management are useless and do not care about any employees. So, do not take a job with Mitie, not unless you enjoy being abused on a regular basis.

Don't work for this worst company. The management staffs are big liars. You never got your payment just if you lick their ass. They blocked my email... and no answer

Absolutely disgusting treatment of a minor at Sainsbury Nine Elms today, the kid was distressed and crying and he was being bullied and intimated by two fully grown adult security guards , in full view if other customers , whatever the kid did , he should not have been treated in this way , he looked about ten , I won’t go back

Don't work for mitie in dundee the management are useless and the pay was not good and they keep some off your money when leaving job. Lack of communication between management and supervisors were something else

Absolutely disgusting racist company that continues to let it's workers be racist and does nothing about it. I experienced this first hand in Glasgow. Do not work for them if your English. In fact do not work for them at all.

It's one of the worst companies that I've ever worked for in my life They lie to you constantly I don't keep their promises Do not pay Properly And Use you When They are finished with you they you ask them to sort out problem for you They do nothing about it Area manager and operation manager never answered a phone it's always on answering machine...

So was told by the shipping agent withing Southampton Docks they need the equipment first thing and could park in their yard so drove from Glasgow to Southampton in one shift to get there with minutes to spare for the jumped up mitie guy Jim breever to refuse and kick me out and they wonder why there is a driver shortage and accidents

I worked for them at Belfast City Airport and it was, without a doubt, the worst job I have ever had.

They are continually under staffed, you will be expected to do the job of 2 or more people

I found many supervisors to be ok, some are just bullies who have a little bit of authority and think they are someone. They delight in misapplying petty rules to torment the workers.

Pay......every single month I worked there I had pay issues, either the wrong amount or I didn't get paid at all. It's a shambles.

They have a horrifyingly bad annual leave system

The pay is also extremely low when you consider what your resonsibilities are and the volume of work you are expected to do.

Please, if you are considering working for Mitie, don't.

Mitie took over the contract where I work as a cleaner. I had been there for 19 years at this point. My previous employer gave a £1000 bonus for 20 years service, and a 5 star overnight trip to London for a presentation dinner. Completed my 20 years of service with Mitie. I got a pin badge and a day off to be used this year. They can’t retain staff and long serving staff are leaving. I’m currently doing four people’s workloads. Avoid at all costs

Given the news today about their abuse of an Iranian man they should be disbanded through morally focused companies cancelling their contracts … let’s all find out who they contract with and let them know our disgust

They don't deserve 1 star, poorly managed, I have faced open discrimination due to disabilities through military service, the HR team can't get pay sorted and leave officers without pay for more than a month yet still expect them to work hard. The top management are covert bullies and work in the shadows to ruin people. Their processes are enforced unless it is them who are conducting investigations in which case they go straight to discipline with no investigation or hide it inside a probation review. So much to say and not enough space to say it. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! at all costs. This is my own personal opinion and all comments are my own.

Avoid rouge company with fancy advertising

I was a supervisor in a school that got took over by mitie worse company I have ever worked for. They are a complete waste of time the management are useless don't listen to their staff at all, talk to you like s+++. Pay is terrible and getting paid correctly is a chore I loved my job but I only managed 3month of mitie taking over I pissed off back into care work it's less hassle avoid this company at all costs trust me I'd rather be on the dole than work for these morons again.

Mitie has got to be the worst facilities management company I have ever worked for! Management have no idea how to run a successful team / operation! I have SDM’s who don’t even know what a breach is! Management styles are very aggressive with no feedback ever being heard from the little guys, it’s managements way or the high way! I strongly recommend against getting a job with Mitie! You are worth more than anything they can offer!

Perfect example of how this company don't care one bit about their employees. I have recently left the company after 15 years. I wasn't expecting a gold watch or a parade or anything like that but to have absolutely no contact from management about leaving after all this time is quite frankly nothing short of horrible. Not even a phone call to see if everything's ok, reason for leaving etc. This is what 15 years of service to mitie get you, and this is what you'll mean to the company if you join them............absolutely nothing.

Working on covid sites was great but the management or lack of it meant staff were handling tests without ppe we were told the tests are already positive/negative because people are too stupid they still owe me 582 pound for holidays

Terrible staff who have no idea what they are doing, I felt threatened as a single woman and when I complained it’s not a gender thing. You should try being a woman and not a burly man and see how threatened you feel
