It's now been a week since I've been able to get any response from you or Motorclass on the sale of my Porsche Taycan, despite repeated attempts through every channel available to me (email, phone and even text message).
To be clear about what I've done: two calls to reception with promised callbacks, a message that you'd been seen in the office and would be contacted, a voicemail left on your line, an email to your main sales address, two emails to you personally, and a text. Not one has been acknowledged.
Understandably, i've made financial decisions on the basis of this sale, and the lack of any response has put me in a difficult position that worsens by the day. At this point the silence reads as deliberate, and that isn't acceptable from any company, least of all one that presents itself as premium.
This is beyond acceptable, and frankly, unfair to do to someone. As someone who buys and sells cars regularly, I set a lot of store by working with people who do what they say they will. This hasn't reflected well so far.
Time for my honest opinion
Time for my honest opinion. So i bought a car from here two weeks ago and first impression's were great. I was promised the world until the deal was done. So i was told that i would be kept updated throughout the week on the process of the car. I got one message asking about the settle agreement that i had already gave them twice. I was told once the car goes into prep i would got a walk round video of the process. Did i get that. NO. I was told that they like to do something special with the handover and handover the car in the well lit photo bay. Did that happen. NO. I went to pick the car up it was handed over in the customer carpark. The car was filth. It had not been cleaned or prepped like they said it would be. Its been two weeks since i got the car. Still no logbook even though i was told it would be sent that day. I have phoned the DVLA today and i was informed that no change of ownership has been done either by post or online! I had a private plate on the car i was trading in so was told i got retain my plate on the day but would need to pay £100 deposit that i would get back once they got my logbook. I dropped that logbook off in person a week ago and still did not get my deposit back. Absolute joke. So just be mindful when buying from here as you wont get the things they say they will give you. I could write more but to be honest i have already wasted enough of my time

I purchased a 2025 Volkswagen Golf R from this dealership and experienced multiple serious issues within the first three weeks of ownership.
The faults included:
* The alarm randomly activating
* Airbag warning light illuminating
* Key fob failing to recognise the vehicle, preventing startup
* The car automatically shifting into park and applying the handbrake while driving slowly
* The vehicle sometimes failing to lock
I reported these issues immediately and provided photo and video evidence. I chose to reject the vehicle within the 30-day period under my consumer rights. After returning the car, I was informed that the dealership could not replicate the faults during testing and therefore did not accept my concerns, despite continued evidence including alerts from the Volkswagen app showing the alarm had activated. I was initially advised to replace battery, which I did, but the issues continued. To their credit, they reimbursed me for that battery replacement the next day. Unfortunately, overall I found the after-sales support disappointing and felt my concerns were not taken seriously. They are now trying to say that I have lied about the faults incurred on the vehicle even though I have all the proof documented shocking aftersale behaviour

Advertised two previous owners but actually three and I become the fourth owner. Absolutely annoying definitely made a mistake buying from Motorclass. In the process of returning the car under Consumer Rights Acts 2015 under section 11,20 & 22. Reported to FCA and Lender. General Manager threatened saying It can escalated to whoever you wish rather than trying sort other remaining issues & defects.

This Dealer is the Real Deal. Arranged the deal over the phone & organised to view the vehicle. Spencer told me that the vehicle had not been through their prep workshop so might have a couple of marks on it as it is 3yrs old. Viewed the car, agreed the deal (which was fair imo) & when I went back to collect the car a week later it was pristine, not a mark on it. One of the best Car Dealership I have dealt with, fair, honest and reliable. 5 Stars all the way.

What made it worse is that the photos and videos on their website appear heavily edited and do not reflect the car’s actual condition. The reality was very different from what was advertised.
Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend buying from them.

Appalling customer service
Absolutely disgraceful and would definitely advise people not to purchase from the untrustworthy garage! We spoke to the manager of the garage Saturday regarding a car we were very interested in purchasing. Anthony said that the car was still available and we made an appointment to view it the next day at 1pm. We advised Anthony that we would be travelling three hours to view and if we was happy we would purchase and leave a deposit and my husband would collect the car on Thursday once all insurance was sorted for him to drive home for my birthday on the Friday. Anthony agreed and said he would get the car mot’ed ready for when my husband collected it.
We arrived at the garage as agreed to be told they had just sold it to somebody else!!! They didn’t care less! A 6 hour round trip wasted! If that’s the service they offer when buying, god only knows the service they offer after buying if you have any problems! Extremely disappointing

I’m very disappointed with the after-sale service from this dealership. After reporting issues with the car I purchased, the manager, Alex, completely stopped responding to my emails. This is unacceptable and reflects very poor customer service. I expected much better support after spending this kind of money. I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience.

Bought a Range Rover Velar from Motor…
Bought a Range Rover Velar from Motor Class Wigan in July 2024 with a 2-year RAC warranty. I was only told about a “new reconditioned” £14k engine after paying my deposit and finance approval, and reassured it was like new. I was never told it was fitted by their in-house mechanic. Within weeks it was cutting out due to a loose earthing wire, then two injectors failed after 6 months from poor fitting (confirmed by a garage). After 11 months and 13k miles, the engine seized. The engine change wasn’t declared to the DVLA, making the warranty and insurance invalid.
I’m my father’s main carer while he undergoes cancer treatment and chemotherapy, and it’s been incredibly difficult getting him to his appointments without a car. I’ve been unable to work since June, losing vital income from my freelance business, yet I’m still expected to pay car finance and travel expenses. This situation has had a huge impact on my finances, home life, and mental health, and despite explaining all of this, Motor Class have shown no concern or support. The matter is now with the Financial Ombudsman Service. Avoid.

Terrible company
Having bought 2 cars from these px the first 1 then 2 months later received speeding fines parking fines after numerous emails with Alex it’s my fault he states absolutely disgusting especially when both cars were bought cash and alloys were not refurbished etc and the sales rep dealing with it apparently left in bad terms and they would not do the jobs on the vehicle which were agreed never buy from these ever again
