Went to the Bristol store for a recliner armchair. James was very knowledgeable and helpful and provided friendly service.

Customer service provided by both Paul and Neil, at the Eastgate Retail Park branch, was top notch. After visiting to purchase a three piece suite (which we did), we then returned to buy additional furniture. During both visits both Paul and Neil provided outstanding customer service. Friendly and extremely helpful, with no pushy sale techniques. Their knowledge of the furniture and services that the firm provide was first class, taking time to understand and advise on what would best suit our needs. They are both a credit to the company.

My wife and I were looking for a great sofa at a great price and found the perfect piece today in Park Furnishers at the Eastgate Centre in Bristol. Neil T the salesman was extremely helpful, offering assistance when needed and when he knew our requirements made some great suggestions, including a great offer in their clearance section that gave us exactly the sofa that we wanted at less than half the price had we bought it direct from the manufacturer. Delivery was great value compared to other shops we had visited. Our thanks to Neil for turning our explorative trip into finding precisely what we wanted.

I went with my parents to Park Furnishers at Eastgate Centre, Bristol today, to look at sofas and whilst looking around the store, Neil who was very cheerful, polite, friendly and easy to talk to, introduced himself, and explained any queries that we had in a very understandable way. We purchased the sofas and are now looking forward to them arriving. He was also very helpful with suggesting and giving a printed leaflet on how to dispose of the old ones. I would definitely recommend popping in and speaking with Neil if you are looking to purchase a sofa:-)

We were served by Neil when purchasing our dining table for our first home. Neil was very welcoming and polite. He was able to answer our questions and made the whole experience very easy.

From entering the store the staff were excellent. Welcomed us but never pushed you into buying anything which is great as I don’t like staff hovering around when browsing. I did buy some furniture and Ian was very helpful with this purchase. Won’t receive my order for a few months but I’m expecting all to be ok. Highly recommend.

I went into your store at Eastgate Retail Park to look for a sofa & I must say the service was excellent I was seen by someone called Neil & he made me feel welcome but was not overwhelmed because I’ve have been looking around other stores for a while & just walked out were they have been to pushy, Neil is a credit to your company.

We came along today and bought a dining bench. We had looked around but the quality elsewhere didn’t compare, we wanted to take it with us as we had suitable transport, Ian was really helpful and accommodating, and he and Neil even carried it out for us. We have purchased from Park Furnishers before, and the customer service is excellent.

I went to Park Furnishers at Eastgate Retail Park in Bristol to look at the beds. I saw one that I liked & the staff member Neil Thompson was very helpful, he explained everything about the bed, took my order very quickly & gave me an approximate delivery date !!!!

I took my mum to buy two three seater sofas with a recliner. Neil provided excellent customer service, he explained everything in detail very calmly and sufficiently. Thank you for a great experience.

I write this review with a sense of hesitancy as I am about to outline a complaint about a local established business that I have attempted to support. However, if you are thinking about buying products and services from them, please read on. Their customer service is non-existent when things go wrong - and things go wrong regularly!

We bought fitted bedroom furniture from Park Furnishers, and a sofa.

The design process was smooth. This is the part where they are doing their best to get your money.

As soon as the project moved from the design phase into delivery and installation phase, communications started to become more difficult, and we struggled to get timely responses to our queries. Any query that needed input from Michael Denning needed chasing. Specifically, we waited over 10 days in July to get a response to our question regarding the delivery of the furniture components. This was important because we needed to ensure that someone was at home to allow access to the property and to take delivery of the items - especially so, as we both work full-time, in different parts of the country.

Park Furnishers commissioned a self-employed tradesperson to carry out the fitting at our property. We were led to believe that he would receive all relevant details for the project without the need for us to be the people that briefed him. Unfortunately, on the first day that he was due to arrive to start the installation, he didn’t turn up at the property until 1130, because he claimed he was unable to locate the house, so he took himself off to do another job. When he eventually arrived, his first question was “…have you got a set of drawings?”, closely followed by “…where do you advise that I start?” - indicating that he hadn’t been briefed, wasn’t aware of the details of the project, and certainly hadn’t had the timelines for project completion communicated to him. As the installation had to be completed by a defined deadline, this was critical information missed as the fitter promptly announced he would only be working a half day on the Friday. The 4 hours he worked on day 1, coupled with his half day on the Friday, meant that the project wasn’t at a stage at the end of the week where the other trades (e.g., carpet fitters) could complete their work properly. This severely impacted on several other critical tasks that caused us both cost and time penalties.

As the installation progressed, it was increasingly apparent that the up-to-date plans and details had not filtered through to the fitter. This resulted in incorrect dimensions of units being installed, having then to be removed, re-made and re-fitted. On the afternoon of 15th July, I sent an email to Michael Denning asking for an urgent phone call on the morning of the 16th July to discuss the concerns we had, and to outline a step-by-step approach to the resolution of the issues. Instead, no phone call was received, the work carried on, being incorrectly installed, and Park Furnishers management effectively blamed the fitter for all of the problems we encountered. Add to this, the fact that we now have fitted furniture with the incorrect internal components, dimensions, holes that have been covered with stickers and elements still missing. To say that we are frustrated, disappointed and upset is an understatement.

I have a detailed timeline of our encounters, disappointments, and details of the communications farce that we have experienced. I could outline it here, but I feel that I need to cut to the crux of the issue – the job remained incomplete for weeks.

Add to this, our sofa delivered with a fault. Once again, attempting to get someone out to deal with it, is impossible. This is still unresolved.

I'm sad to say that we won't be using this local business again. If you're thinking about buying from them - proceed with extreme caution. Only proceed if you are prepared to waste countless days trying to resolve issues that their mistakes and oversight have generated.

Helpful information from Ian and felt unrushed in the showroom. When I found the sofa I wanted cheaper elsewhere, he immediately price-matched it for me.

I have been buying furniture from Park Furnishers since the early 1990’s. From their early days located in Willway Street to the most recent location the value and selection is as good as ever.
On my recent visit I saw Neil who was a great help with helping me make my selection. Neil explained quite thoroughly the options open to me regarding my purchase and although they were not for me, I was grateful he took the time to explain them.
I can only praise and thank Neil for his time and help, it was appreciated.

Entered the Bristol store and was welcomed by Ian Thompson and all he said was welcome and if we have any questions please ask and left us to browse. We only want to get an idea of what was there but liked an item and asked Ian for help and more information on the item. Once he answered our questions we decided to buy a regular 2 seater and a 2.5 leather settee as a pair . He done a great deal and as we were going to buy something within 2 weeks it was too good to refuse.
Highly recommend this store and the staff as no pushy sales they just want to help well Ian Thompson did as that who we dealt with.

Great Service from James and the Thompson brothers. Unfortunately one of our original La-Z-boy sofas developed a fault, which Park Furnishers had no hesitation in getting fixed. To our dismay the same fault appeared only a few weeks later but Park Furnishers offered to swap both sofas for something else! No dramas. No push-back. No arguments.
James in the Bristol store was particularly polite and helpful in guiding us to our eventual choice.
We can't recommend Park Furnishers highly enough.

We arrived at the store and were not immediately pounced upon. After several minutes walking around we were approached by Neil who introduced himself and said if we wanted any advice just ask.
We then found a settee reclining chair and other items we liked and Neil provided a detailed review of the products. We found Neil to be friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable. His explanations covered everything we needed to know. We will feel very comfortable to recommend Park Furnishers especially Neil to our family and friends.

I bought a mattress, bed frame, and headboard at Park Furnishers in Bristol and was assisted by Ian. He’s the most supportive person ever! He was kind, attentive, and patient, answering all my questions and going above and beyond to help. Ian made the entire purchase process seamless, and I left feeling genuinely happy with my experience and confident in my choice.

Have used Park Furnishers many times in the past, always found the staff, extremely helpful & informative. My visit today proved equally rewarding. The staff member today, Neil, who I found to be extremely pleasant, helpful, but not pushy!

We would like to congratulate Marina on her excellent customer service when choosing our new beds, lounge suite, dining room table & chairs. We appreciate her giving us the space to decide without having pressure put on us. Altho she had previously been in the furniture business she had only recently joined Park Furnishers.
