I have been buying cars for myself and…

I have been buying cars for myself and my family from parks in East Kilbride for many years. I have always found them to be helpful and professional. Staff have changed over the years and this year I didn’t recognise any of the team. Nevertheless Liam at the Suzuki showroom helped us find the right car and the right deal for our newest purchase from parks. Liam was friendly and very courteous and I appreciate his customer care. A breath of fresh air

JLR Hillington

Have to say that when my Jaguar Epace broke down for the first time in 5 years , I was worried !
Worried that the bill would be eye watering and the car being off the road for months …
What an amazing breath of fresh air that Parks gave me .
The car was diagnosed quickly, parts ordered and back on the road in no time plus the invoice is very fair .

I had my car in for a minor warranty job doing and Charlie was my contact during this short period and I can say without any doubt that Charlie is a credit to Parks renault ayr, Charlie is confident, professional, courteous, polite and a very likeable person

Parks East Kilbride Service Centre

Purchased a used car from the Kia branch at East Kilbride, and have absolutely no complaints about the sales staff there. However, the so-called Service Centre is a different matter altogether.

Some six months after purchase my car broke down - it happens - and had to be recovered to the East Kilbride Service Centre for repair under the 12 month warranty given with the car.

To cut a (very) long story short, the fault (defective turbocharger) was misdiagnosed as something else and the car returned to me still with the untouched defective turbocharger which caused the breakdown. Unsurprisingly, within a few hours the defective turbocharger caused another breakdown and the car had to be recovered for a second time back to the centre.

Now at this point it should be normal to anticipate that any company with the slightest grasp on the concept of customer care would try to give some priority to repairs like this - after all you really shouldn't be giving a defective car back to the customer and should be doing your best to make amends - but sadly that does not seem to apply to Parks, who are treating this one as a completely new job and totally unconnected to the previous one.

Result? I have been without my car for 2 weeks now and heading into a third, with all the inconvenience and difficulties that entails. I have tried complaining – messaged the service centre manager – no reply; messaged the Parks complaint dedicated web address – no reply.

Conclusion? Following due processes appears to be all that matters to this company - in my experience CUSTOMER CARE IS VERY LOW ON THEIR LIST OF PRIORITIES - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Engine management light on

Engine management light on - tried booking in car and still waiting on someone to call me back. Never had this experience before. Parks Landrover Glasgow ' Shocking' for what is supposed to be a premium brand - Porsche Garage might be getting a visit

Above and beyond.

Previous experiences with warranty claims, with other motor groups, have given cause for frustration and disappointment so I decided to visit Parks M G in East Kilbride. I can only report that I received excellent service and help, a far better experience than anything I have encountered before else where. I found the girls in reception to be genuinely empathetic to my situation. The helpfulness from all was brilliant. The technicians knowledge, and patience, was astounding. The truth is that having never been a Parks customer before I will now make all future car purchases from Parks. Thanks for making my visit on such a dreadful day so much easier and fruitful.

Great Customer Service and Professionalism 5 stars!

Purchased my nearly new 2023 Renault Capture petrol hybrid from Parks Motor Group, Irvine.
Special thanks to Elliot the Sales Consultant who answered all my questions (last changed my car 7 years ago!) nothing was too much trouble and Chris the Manager who overseen my financial investment including a trade in offer and 4 year pcp plan. Great Customer Service and Professionalism 5 stars!

Changed my car at Parks of Hamilton

Changed my car at Parks of Hamilton , East Kilbride branch. Gordon Irving couldn’t have been more helpful. Not pushy but listened to what I would like and what I could afford. Smashing car and extended warranty. Thank you for your time and patience Gordon.

Zero stars!

Zero stars!! Worst car retailers going! Sell you a faulty car and make you jump through hoops to then lie about being willing to accept it back. Liars! Poor customer service! Shocking communication skills! Go elsewhere because when you do finally find a fault with your car, they’ll be absolutely no help. Make sure you don’t buy a Citroen or DS from them because they don’t have the facilities for those brands and you’ll have to pay Arnold Clark to fix any faults. Save yourself the hassle and go to a reputable dealership. These people are snakes!

Superb customer service from Liam Furay…

Superb customer service from Liam Furay He explained everything I needed to know without baffling me with info. As I was in sales for many years I’m usually very critical of sales people and their approach to customers. Liam recognised my needs and delivered exactly what I was interested in. I did return to the showroom after the sale with a couple of questions and his after sales service has given me confidence in Parks motor dealers of Hillington

absolute joke of customer service

absolute joke of customer service. I had to go to the service centre to find out what was going on with my car as it's impossible to phone them and get ahold of someone that can actually give you an update. When I phoned they took my details and said I'd get a callback which I never did. Not to mention they don't have any courtesy car available in the next 2 months! I really regret buying the car off them and will never do it again. Car is only 10 months old and already had a battery failure...

We visited Parks Jaecoo in Carlisle, test drove a car loved it. Staff at this point friendly and helpful. Sadly it was downhill from there. Put our deposit down on the Wednesday, was told we would hear back. Nothing, chased it up Friday, told everything is good we can pick the car up Tuesday. Took time off work for it, still not heard anything, told they would get back to me Sunday, never did. Monday came, still not heard anything so called to ask what the registration was to sort insurance. Told they know nothing about me picking up the car Tuesday, nothing has been done, car not valeted, not registered. Literally nothing. Tuesday comes, email in the morning saying car won’t be ready, come Wednesday. So have to take more time off work. Wednesday comes, car has chips on the paintwork, key fob is damaged. Queried it and told “oh just put a cover over it” ??? It’s a brand new car, it should not come with a damaged key fob. Asked about the inconvenience (had to book two half days holiday) literally just brushed aside and ignored. Car is lovely (minus the chips to the paintwork and the damaged fob, which I still have no idea how to get fixed???) service from sales staff really not good.

My partners first time buying a brand car and the whole experience was over shadowed by issues.

Excellent Customer Service

I got my new ford puma from Parks Ford Perth. From browsing on the website to collecting my car the customer service was excellent! Ruaraidh Harris from Ford was brilliant in organising everything for me, made me feel really welcome and always checking to see if I had any questions or to show me things on the car. The after care from Ruaraidh is excellent still checks in to make sure the car is okay and If I need anything. The team in Perth Ford are friendly and always make sure you get the right car for your needs.

Excellent Service

Had to take my car in for a fault fix. Everything was handled very professionally by Andee and the team. From start to finish, communication was clear, and I felt well looked after throughout the process. Very happy with the service and would gladly recommend Parks BMW Hamilton to others.
