Awful experience - utter garbage: avoid these folks.
I ordered "The Smart Coaster 2.0 Effortless, Professional Cocktails at Home"
Supposedly a "smart coaster" which receives over-the-air updates, and works in conjunction with an app to help you create cocktails.
I paid $44US for this, as a Christmas gift for a family member.
I ordered it on the 17th of November and it only arrived on the 22nd of December; luckily, I thought at the time, just in time for Christmas.
On opening the package, it contained a small round plastic disk with a USB port on the side. When you plug it in, it lights up a strip around the circumference of the disk.
That's it. No app, no recipes, literally nothing to do with making cocktails. The blurb on the box says, verbatim: "3D colorful version LED Intelligent luminous cup mat"
I reached out to Partbelong and this was their exact reply:
"We sincerely apologize that your experience has not met your expectations—it’s never our goal for you to feel dissatisfied, and we truly regret any frustration this has caused.
Our warehouse has verified your product has no quality problems—it will work normally after a few simple adjustments.
As a gesture of goodwill, we’d like to offer compensation of 4 USD to make up for the inconvenience. Would this arrangement work for you?
Please let us know at your earliest convenience, and we’ll resolve this quickly.

I'm not exactly sure what "simple adjustments" one can make to a plastic disk with a usb connector on it, but the conversation went downhill from here.
At this point, I wanted my full $44 worth of entertainment, so I fired back:
"Hi,
Please explain exactly what the “adjustments “ you refer to are? Where is the app? How does the device measure?
I will only accept a replacement with the real device, not the item you sent me, or a full refund. Please advise your return address.
Please do not send a template reply.
Thank you."
Ultimately, we never got much further than that - their replies were always variations of:
" We feel so sorry for your dissatisfaction.
Relevant departments have confirmed the accuracy of the products sent to you.
In that case, you will need to return the goods to our Chinese warehouse. But shipping costs will be high.
Is it possible to increase the compensation to 6 USD ?

As you can probably tell, this site is a scam. I tested trying to leave a 1 star review: the moment you refresh the site, the review is gone: so, clearly the reviews are either generated or paid for.
If this review saves one person from being scammed by this site, I'll consider it job done. You have been warned...
