Just returned from a fabulous ski week in France. All was as described and made for an enjoyable week. Organisation and communication from Peak Retreats was excellent. I would book again with them.

Always very happy booking self-drive skiing with Peak Retreats. Team are always super helpful and attentive. Great for guaranteed quality of accommodation and particularly appreciate the included Eurotunnel Flexiplus at low/mid season. Option of booking extras is useful although generally choose to book direct as we are very familiar with our preferred resort/ski area.

With a family group of 10, 8 stayed in des Dolines residences while the 2 ‘seniors’ were close by in the Chalet Blanc Hotel in Mongenèvre . Close enough for the youngsters to be able to throw snowballs between the balconies! Perfect for building those lifelong memories. Peak Retreats seem to have even been able to arrange plenty of fresh powder snow - best ever!

Harry was fabulous at organising our girls trip to Tignes. We had a few changes along the way and he patiently handled them and was charming throughout. The holiday surpassed our expectations in terms of quality and value for money. Will definitely book with him again.

This is the second time of using PR, first time was last year at HT and now Easter. Both experiences were very helpful and the apartments in Val Cenis and La Rosiere were both excellent for self-catered. PR took the weight off our shoulders with admin and organisation and nudged where appropriate.
I would happily use them again for a family ski break.
Our apartment had a pool in the building and a baguette ordering service and a short walk from the slopes. A postcard perfect view from our balcony!

Just returned from an amazing weekend break to Samoens. Couldn't fault the service, advice and accommodation booked through Peak Retreats. Will definitely be using them again and going back to the same hotel.

You cancelled our holiday two days before departure without much apologies . We actually called you with a query and it is why we found out our holiday was cancelled? Not because you did your job and called us.
To make the matter worse you try to offer us substandard holiday that we refused you then told us that we would get a full refund and compensation for all our troubles and the best your customer service team as to offer is £100 voucher to be used on our next holiday??? Really??? Do you really think after being so let down I would consider using your company again? very insulting.

your website state clearly that we should get this :

If we make a major change to your holiday, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure. You will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, accepting an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value), or cancelling your booked holiday and receiving a full refund of all monies paid. Please respond promptly to any notification of changes as if you do not respond within the timescale given your booking may be cancelled. In all cases, except where the significant change or cancellation is due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (see above), we will pay compensation as detailed below:

So? why are you trying to give me a voucher for a company I will never use again?

AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY CANCELLED OUR BOOKING 3 DAYS BEFORE WE WERE LEAVING WITH NO CARE OR SYMPATHIES. We have been using Peak Retreats for over 15 year but have noticed a decline in their service since covid. Basically our accommodation was cancelled on the Wednesday for our Saturday booking. They were very uncaring and just wanted to wash their hands of us. They offered us sub par alternatives which were not acceptable, it really felt they didn’t care. Since this experience we have had no communication or apologies or offer of compensation from them.Please be ware it seems they are just after your money

Just back from a wonderful ski holiday in Les Arcs. Great accommodation very close to the slopes. What really impressed me was the phone call we received from Peak Retreats while we were driving back to check we were not affected by a Rockfall blocking road access to/from the mountain. Amazing customer service.

Great service all round. Have used two times recently for holidays in the alps and both times the recommended location and accommodation was excellent. The team are super helpful, friendly and efficient (thanks Marie-Anne). No hesitation in recommending them.

Great communication throughout the whole booking experience. We've been with this company three times now. Great value with Flexi plus on the Eurotunnel too.

Dear Peak Retreats,
We had a wonderful July holiday in Samoens staying in the Alexane self catering apartments, 7 people aged between young adult to older adults. Marie-Anne at Peak Retreats was very helpful with listening to our requirements and giving guidance on the best options. The accommodation was spacious, clean and light, but the best thing were the communal facilities - games room, cinema, pool, hamam spa, jacuzzi and of course the lobby seating area and piano. There are lots of outdoor activities- great flat walking and mountain hiking with amazing views and beautiful lakes. We used the navette bus system (2 euros per day), took chairlifts from Samoens and nearby Morillon. We also enjoyed rafting and canyoning. For food we shopped in Carrefour and the nearby Tiffany bakery. The Tourist Office is opposite Alexane and they were very helpful. All in all, probably our best holiday ever! Many thanks Peak Retreats.

We arrived at our apartment which was filthy, hadn’t been cleaned since the previous people were staying. Also, it was named something completely different on the PR website to its name in the village. PR were responsive but becareful when booking that you are actually booking the place which is advertised on their website. We now know why we couldn’t find any independent reviews if the apartments.

This was our first skiing trip so had no prior knowledge of what to expect. Marie-anne gave us exceptional advice and guidance throughout and even gave support when we were away on the holiday. she helped cooordinate two families and really helped us make the best choices for a young family. She had superb knowledge and definitley gave impartial advice. Will be using again for every trip as is a company I trust

Customer service is excellent, the team understand what a family ski customer wants and they deliver it.
The package is great value ...we are at the economy end but whatever your budget Peak Retreats offers great value.

Good advice offered regarding suitable resort (France) and helpful with choice of accommodation, transport etc. We also booked lessons and ski equipment and ski passes - and were assured that they provided competitive prices for the additional packages. If you are a party of four or more however many French resorts offer 10% discount when the ski passes are bought as a single purchase (the resort we went to does offer this) - so buying these yourself rather than through Peak Retreats will be cheaper. Peak Retreats do not pass on the savings when four or more passes are ordered through them. The discount is given whether the passes are bought in the resort or on-line - all explained on the resort website.

Peak Retreats always provide us with a great, friendly service. They are very knowlegable when it come to choosing resorts that suit us and we have always found the accomodation to be great. We have used them for summer breaks as well as skiing. We would highly recommend them.

We’ve travelled with Peak Retreats four times and their service is great for us.
We’ve found them to be experts on resort recommendations to get a good value trip; also great at organising ski passes, lessons and equipment hire so that everything’s simple when we arrive in resort.
We want high quality S/C accommodation, with a pool and very close to the ski school meeting point - a must with kids.
A ski area with something for everyone in our group of families, from challenging blacks to easy greens, but with lift passes that aren’t completely extortionate, if possible
Equipment hire that’s preferably in the same building as our accommodation, to make the whole thing easy.
Oh and effectively snowsure for Easter school holidays please….so we’re pretty demanding!

Peak Retreats have managed this for us as the ages of our children and the make-up of our group of families has changed over the years.

Another great holiday with Peak Retreats. We felt looked after from the moment of booking, and last minute changes to ski lessons were no problem. Info pack with top tips made it easy to get to resort and the residence was indeed ‘Luxury’ as described on the Peak Retreats site.

After using this company for the last 15 years felt really let down when we tried to cancel or rearrange our holiday due to there being a lack of snow and all the ski lifts being closed.
They offered no help whatsoever and we will never be using them again.
