Customer service are clearly dishonest and will use any excuse in an attempt to avoid honouring a warranty.
I purchased a TV from Philips and within 4 months it had developed a clearly visible bright spot on the screen, upon raising this with them I was informed this was due to 'dust, pets and smoke', none of which had been present around the TV.
I spoke to the retailer and it was only after Philips customer support clearly realised they had lied about the initial reason they gave for the issue and tried to suddenly change to saying the issue was 'within specifications' that the retailer forced them into conducting a repair.
As part of the repair a new screen was fitted which clearly had dark patches in several areas, upon contacting Philips again they claimed this was now 'within specifications' despite this clearly being an issue. I again raised this with the retailer who disagreed with Philips and have agreed to take the TV back.
It is clear their customer service will say anything to avoid having to honour a warranty and do not care about the quality of any repairs that take place.

I have a faulty toaster and filled a form in online to return it, but when it asked for the serial number I checked and there wasn't one so I can't go any further. There is no phone number, no chat or anything to get in touch with them. Terrible company, will never buy from again.
Shocking service, don’t deserve a star
My Phillips steam iron blew up after only 4 months of moderate use, don’t buy a Phillips Perfectly Compact Steam generator iron.
Looking at reviews on Trustpilot I don’t want another Phillips iron, only option offered is to collect and repair within 14 days. Bought via Amazon and they can’t help so would honestly avoid
It’s a nightmare to deal with Philips
My instant heating water dispenser got problem and on 23/9 emailed to Philips for repair. There’s no response until today. Call them numerous times and am advised too many emails, system down etc. They promised to replied me for arranging the repair but never come true. It’s my fault not reviewing trustpilot before placing the order as it seems mine is not an exceptional case.

I ordered an air purifier on their website and was given a tracking link for the product with DPD. The item was on its way and then a day before I get a notification saying that the product is being returned to sender. To exacerbate things they told me I'd have to wait up to two weeks to get my refund despite them unilaterally deciding to not sending me the product. Disgusting practice. Avoid.
This is the email customer service sent me:
"I hope this email finds you well. I already received the response from the escalation. As per specialist, there's an on going issue that were having with our online shop because of the technical issue that cause the delay or cancellation so this is due to unforeseen shipping restrictions that is why some orders are return to sender or automatically cancelled. The amount will be refunded to you within 7-10 business days. We are still fixing the issue regarding this but unfortunately, there are still some order that was still automatically cancelled or back to the sender. "

I’ve now had need to call on Philips for technical help and they have been nothing other than excellent!
Perfect Draft system stopped working and within 5 days of asking for help, they had collected it, mended it, and returned it.

Dreadful
Ordered told when delivery would be that’s changed completely and seems it’s still in the Netherlands. I seem to remember that the iron I bought was just sent its box with a label and no covering so was hanging out when it arrived. You would expect more from a large company shouldn’t you?

I'm still waiting for delivery of my new electric toothbrush ordered on 29 September 24 online from this company. I received a notification when the order was made that I would receive my replacement item on 3 October 24. This delivery date is within the 3-5 business days delivery offered. I took time off and also cancelled an appointment to wait for delivery. Low and behold nothing arrived. Eventually in the early hours of this morning another notification advising me my delivery has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 8 October 24. I'm not anticipating a positive result with that delivery!
Never buy from Philips again, ever.
They sold me a shaver that I can't charge unless I go to their website and spend another 18 Euros on their USB adapter, and god knows when it will arrive. What kind of scam is this?
Final Straw for long lasting customer
After being a long standing user of Phillips, this is the third time in a row that my Phillips sonicare toothbrush has failed. Twice by start button failing to engage and now not charging ! Once acceptable, twice unlucky but three times is just poor quality.
Further to the frustration the customer care was awful, as they reminded me through the process “ we have replaced the item” well great thanks for replacing a faulty item, really good of you. However only after I have to do all the leg work to return it.
ie, you will need a printer, print off the label, then package it and then take it to the post office to return it. Doesn’t end there though as Phillips won’t authorise releasing your replacement until they are ready and the correct department agrees. This can take 2/3 days from receiving but then a further 5/8 business days for delivery. Over a week without a toothbrush ! Great service.
However you can lodge a complaint, where very apologetic members of staff, fully understand your issue and are very sorry but that is the process. I was told they have to have this process because of the amount of fraudsters targeting them?
Surely this is not my issue and if Phillips had better quality items then it wouldn’t be open for fraudsters to abuse their system and leave the paying customer to take the brunt.
I will no longer be using any of Phillips products and if you value longevity, quality and a company that values genuine customers, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Such a bad company if you have to send…
Such a bad company if you have to send you item to get it fixed...! Send off my coffe machine 3 times for the repair.. First there was an issue with the milk froth problem and smoke coming out from the side of the machine(video was provided and apparently seen by the specialist) ... First time it came back they only change little oring that had nothing to do with the issue. Still problems with the froth and the smoke!! Second time I've send it they fixed the froth issue at last but the smoke was still coming from the side... I was assured this time if I send it off it will be fixed.. Came back 3rd time and instead of fixing the smoke issue they for some unknown reason checked the froth problem(I haven't even mention to them this time that I have a froth issue) and said there isn't anything wrong with it so they haven't done any repair and send it back again. Who is checking and reparing those machines?! Unbelievable service. Never experienced anything like that. I'm so sick of it I will have to take my machine somewhere else so it will get properly fixed...
Incorrect Accessories Not Compatible Listings
Philips are supplying the wrong incompatible accessories which are not compatible to what you want. They have been listing this wrong incompatible item for over a year and still are today. This is very unacceptable for Philips and so be aware you might not get what you are expecting or needing to fit your main product.
What customer service?
We have had our perfect draft machine for just over 2 years it stopped working twice just cut out. Contacted Philips and was advised to complete a repair request online. Completed the request and returned our machine to them, I was advised that our machine is out of warranty so there is a fee of £54.99, ok we paid it. Update on the repair and advised that they had changed the cable and would return our machine.
I received Philips Perfect draft beer machine back the day after upon receipt of our machine it has been returned back to us damaged and full of scratches and dents. I actually had to check to make sure they had returned the correct machine to us. I took photographs and a video just prior to sending our machine to them, luckily because I have evidence of the condition that I sent it and they state it had been returned.
We sent it to yourselves in pristine condition as it has hardly been used. I am absolutely appalled by the condition that you have returned it to in. You have damaged our machine and this is not acceptable. For the luxury of paying nearly £55.00 for you to fix a faulty power cable that should have never been faulty in the first place, it is unconcievable that you would damage and our machine and have the audacity to send it back to us in this condition.
Spent most of the next day trying to get hold of someone, emailed photographs and advised to send my machine back one again and they will replace the case that they have scratched and damaged.

Atrocious warranty
Atrocious warranty. I tried to contact Philips warranty when my electric toothbrush failed to hold a charge. I was sent from website to website and got no response or resolution. Awful product and fraudulent warranty that is useless because it is not upheld.
Disposable & Environment Unfriendly
philips has zero concerns for customers and the planet. devices that cost hundreds of pounds are effectively disposable: when the battery depletes, philips’s idea of ‘fixing’ the problem is giving the customer a minuscular discount for a new device altogether. simply replacing a battery would be more cost effective, environment friendly and foster a more positive buyer-seller relationship. philips clearly has their priorities completely upside-down. in this time and age where every effort to help the planet counts, philips should really be out of business. please join me in NEVER BUYING FROM PHILIPS AGAIN!

We ordered air purifier and filters on a same order. they booked the deliver being next day at 11.00 am we waited for the delivery to come through but then we received an email that it has been delivered. So thinking that we will be picking full order we went to shop only to find out that only filters have been delivered
so we weren't told that there will two deliveries.

Worst experience ever
I am not happy at all with the service provided.
A delivery that supposed to be 6 days it turned into a months delivery that i have to chase to make sure I don’t lose my money, a refund that supposed to take 10 days in turned into a no refund at all.
Thank you Phillips for the service, this is unacceptable. I hope other people won’t experience this. My bad that I didn’t look for these horrible reviews before.
False advertising
I bought the Philips Hue NEW White Smart Light Bulb Lustre on Amazon earlier this year, with the understanding that (as stated in the product description): "Control Lights With Your Voice - Works with all Echo smart speakers/displays and Google Nest devices for hands-free voice control".
This was true for about 6 months, but then unexpectedly stopped working. I got no notification from Philips and Amazon to warn me of any change, and could not get a resolution from either customer service team.
After researching on my own, it appears you now need to purchase a Philips Hue Bridge (over a £100 on Amazon, four times the price of the bulbs!) to be able to use them with Alexa. This is NOT what I ordered, and I would appreciate a refund.

I bought a Steam Generator Iron from Ohilips (Versuni BV).
The instructions say that it must be placed directly onto a sturdy ironing board.
I did so, but the base slides and is unsafe. So I put a small table next to the ironing board...it slides on that whilst you're ironing!
On inspection, there are mouldings to accept rubber feet..but tgere are NO RUBBER FEET!...Of course, the hard plastic slides about.
I contacted Philips by WhatsApp. Received a half literate reply that eventually said...there are no feet supplied with this model!
How are you supposed to comply with the manufacturer's instructions if the base is unstable?
Why does the underside of the base have the moulded depressions to take rubber feet if the model has been designed not to have them?
Their response is inadequate, without consideration for the customer and includes NO willingness to understand the customer's situation nor indeed, their welfare.
