I had a free trial of Pixlr and cancelled before the trial was over. They will auto-renew your subscription one year after without authorization. Beware this is a scammy site.

its scam. big scam! mandatory payment. no one pays first and then gets. that's not how it works. You're going to leave just as quickly as you came. because bing is free, perchance is free without registration. I am a producer without a marketer to help. You have someone who helps you get the money and someone who tells you what the best way is. your way is so so so bad that you will abandon it. If there are free sites why do you have to pay for tokes? Almost no site still works with tokes, you do. Bing does too, but you are not obliged to pay. Bing uses those tokes to ensure that there are no unnecessary delays caused by people who make images all day long. you guys make people pay for tokes. of course people don't pay anything without knowing what is happening and what the photos look like. your marketing strategy is so bad. you have used up your resources on the generator and the site results in not a single piece of brain left for marketing. Take it from me that you will have to close your books in mid-2025, your marketing makes no sense

it shows you images it could never generate, then you spend 20 minutes writing a gorgeus text and it then wants your money befor generating crap. No where did it tell you you need to pay befor it could generat a picture

Useless… I tried generating a GTA like image based on a photo I’ve uploaded, and it made me 3 times black and twice some sort of asian. I wrote that I was white and I wanted a photo of myself, not a black or mixed race guy. Received another 5 images of photos where I was black. What sort of artificial intelligence is this if it doesn’t understand a simple “I am white” prompt? more like artificial stupidity…

Support are terrible and just respond with stock answers instead of just reading and understanding your request. Stay away

I had signed up for a free trial a couple of years ago and then found it impossible to use. I never visited the site again - and completely forgot about them. I had to look up "what is pixlr" when I saw a charge on my bank account this week.
I have never used this beyond the one day, almost 3 years ago and they will not give a refund. Their response translated to Customer Service is not something they offer.

A few months ago, I tried the free subscription and cancelled immediately, so it wouldn’t charge me. Then, in July, it charged me around £7. I selected to delete the account, which it never did (not to my knowledge until writing this post) and continued to charge me. This website is not only a scam but also terrible for photo editing. If you are looking to edit photos, use a free alternative like PhotoPea instead. Just never ever trust this website as they will take your money.

Pixlr is very powerful for an online app. I really like it. I also appreciated the great support and reactivity of the team that I had to solicit on administrative topics related to my subscription.

Every update only makes it worse. Company only fixed on making money and not the user. GIMP is way better, dont use this 👍

I did a trial subscription for about an hour and then cancelled it. I have no use for AI at this time. I tried it for a minute and realized it, cancelled my "one week free trial" immediately. A while later they charged me $69 for my account. I got a refund and I believed they had removed me from their system but, just now, I saw a new charge of $69 on my bank account. I am furious with all these scamming tech companies.

Unfortunately quite weak, I've been using it for a month and I've paid a lot for points, when I want something it sometimes pulls out a camera, I still don't understand why. For example, generate my earth as a donut, it spawns a camera or an hourglass. Sometimes it works fine, but 80% of the time, it just doesn't work properly. Which is quite a shame, the software itself is easy to use, but I won't pay, I was thinking of using it for my youtube channel, it will stay midjourney for now apparently, simply because pixlr doesn't work properly.

I used this when I worked at my old job. I would've easily given this a 4-5 stars. I haven't used Pixlr for close to a year and forgot to cancel my subscription. Is it my fault? Sure. But I contacted support within hours of my card being charged and support couldn't offer a refund. Any website or store would not hold such policies so strictly.

I began to use Pixlr last October. Back then, I was so impressed that I bought an annual subscription. Almost at once, the owners of the service "improved" things. The result since then has been a waste of my time and money.

It doesn't matter what kind of prompt I use, the images generated are random garbage. You can argue that I am not giving the right prompt, but image generation with Chat GPT is vastly superior, and this is thrown in with the general subscription.

Then there are the editing tools. These do not work. If I try to replace something in an image, either nothing happens or the image is promptly ruined with what I have already called random garbage. If I try to remove something, its outline usually lingers. The background removal tool in Office 2016 does a better job. Generative fill simply doesn't work. The AI restoration tools also don't work. Sharpening doesn't work.

Almost as bad, I wrote to the company last week with fairly specific complaints and am still waiting for an answer.

My advice is to avoid this service. It isn't fit for purpose. If I thought anyone would read my demand, I'd ask for a refund of my annual subscription.

What a load of crap Pixlr has become, literally crashing my machine trying to do simple and I mean simple tasks and edits, I won't be using Pixlr anymore as it's horrible to use.

This site is absolutely terrible, i want to save my projects and I can only have 3 per day, resetting my cookies wipes my work and when i try and redo it the quality is terrible, never use this always use a alternative

A few years ago Pixlr had a lifetime deal on AppSumo. One of the terms of this deal was that all updates to the premium plan would be guaranteed for those who made the purchase, but I recently discovered that this wasn't true.
At the end of last year Pixlr made an update and added several artificial intelligence tools, so the premium plan was updated with the new functions.
Although the AppSumo offer guaranteed these updates, contrary to expectations, lifetime users were not included. The premium plan guarantees 1000 AI credits per month. In the first few months the credits were renewed as they should have been, but in the last 2 months the renewal has stopped. I contacted Pixlr support and they said they won't be able to fulfill their offer because of the AI costs.
Not only are they not complying with the offer, but there's been no warning about it, meaning that lifetime buyers are being harmed and haven't even been warned.
I've made dozens of purchases of lifetime offers and several tools have made updates with artificial intelligence, including much smaller companies, and so far all of them are fulfilling their offers to lifetime users, except Pixlr.
I really hope Pixlr go back and honor the offer on their own terms.

This is a scam, i have used Pixlr.com E for so long, and now, what? Daily limited saves? What is this kind of company move!? why does everything has to keep getting worse? What am i going to use now? The old Pixlr was simply PERFECT!

I had a task at university to make a picture using this tool. The interface changed drastically and I had some problems in identifying the right tools. But overall the functionaluty is good and the design is quite simple and easy-to use.
