I have utilised this platform for a few years now and have found it brilliant, but whatever the hell they have done to it over the last few days with the ai interface is not brilliant. It gives you 70 credits to use the ai and then it does not even add the image or add on you've requested, but happily takes your credits.
Maybe it's just experimental, but if so, they shouldn't be giving credits if it does not even work.
At least let users choose which interface they want to use, legacy or new, now it's just forced.
Using less now.

I bought a subscription to use Pixlr/e for unlimited saves everything went well for a while now when then it started crashing, I was contacted by support after posting a bad review here and they helped me fix the issue which may have been caused by being logged int twice on 2 different browsers,

It's obvious that they use their "no refund" policy to make money. If you need to rely on people's forgetfulness to generate profit, perhaps that should be a warning about the business itself. I would have been happy to just downgrade for the unlimited downloads but due to that policy I'm going to find another platform to use.

I purchased a lifetime deal on Pixlr a couple of years ago and I've been enjoying using it to create designs for social media: it has a built-in background remover, plus tools to help you tweak an existing image, heal blemishes, uses AI to blend backgrounds to smooth over issues, swap out colours, and more.
I especially love being able to take an AI generated image from another app and using Pixlr to tweak it, and then upscale it so I can get high quality images to use on merch sites! Super easy, and high ROI on that one aspect.
They don’t offer any refunds if you forgot to cancel your free trial the company is overall money hungry through the fact they limit the work YOU made your almost pressured into buying premium DONT waste time with the website unless your expecting your money taken

I thought Pixlr Premium would be the perfect solution for graphic design, but I was wrong! It's nothing but a never-ending nightmare. I have an annual subscription that I don't take advantage of and that frustrates me.
Every time I work on a design, everything freezes and poof! All my work disappears and sometimes, by magic, I get it back. It's like a cruel joke, it can make you laugh and it can make you cry, sometimes I work and pray at the same time that I'll get to the end. And it's not just once, these dysfunctions are repeated ad infinitum. I'm tired of doing the same work late at night, for nothing.
I can't believe I let myself be seduced by Pixlr's promises. I'm simply frustrated and angry. The hours I've lost, the creativity that's been wiped out, it's all gone. This experience has left me with a feeling of total desolation.
I expected Pixlr Premium to be an alternative to PS or AI, but instead it has become my worst nightmare. They need to get their act together and solve these problems as soon as possible. It's time for them to act and provide a reliable, user-friendly experience, or they're going to lose even more disappointed customers like me.

Awful. DO. NOT. USE. IT HAS DELETED EVERYTHING FOR THE 4TH TIME AGH IM DYING. Doesn't save anything, you have to restart your work at least a million times and have a good cry in between. I am finished. I hate you.

I don't have a problem paying an anual subscription but after using it a few times I have been blocked at three downloads per day. I paid for unlimited downloads and no ads for one year and have only had it since 27 Feb. Tried contacting Pixlr but have had no response.
Heard back and several people tried to help. Problem was with the payment not Pixlr. All sorted, thank you

I don't understand why people think they deserve anything for free, get over it. Pixlr is a company which needs to generate profit to pay for staffing, server housing, and a host of many other amenities to run a business, otherwise, no more Pixlr. How petty can one be to complain about dirt cheap monthly rates, none of you are entitled to anything, stop with the temper tantrums. Pixlr offers a quality service for a price you will not see elsewhere, and above all else, Pixlr is a business before it is a hand out. If you can't afford 8.99 annually then you should probably cancel your internet service which is more than likely running you anywhere from 25-80 a month. It takes some ignorant nerve to throw a cry party on a review site just because a business is trying to stay afloat.
cost of living is a thing pixlr, as a person in the UK, right now i dont think hardly anyone has any money to spare, ill now have to go for a new application thankyou xxx

Really disappointed with this. We teach photography to young people - 100s a year - and the Free Pixlr E has been brilliant for them. We'll have to find something else now as we can't ask them to pay for a subscription . Understand why and happy to pay for our own account but we'll have to find an alternative free platform for our students

I've been using Pixlr since 2020. I've only just recently started using it more for YouTube and now they've decided to hit users with a dumb daily limit out of nowhere. There are alternative sites and programs to use that don't charge. 2023 is the year we see a lot of platforms crumble cause of greed. They ignore their user base on Twitter, Discord and Reddit. The majority of the Discord has changed their names to either # or ! FreeSaveLimit LetUsSave or BringBackFreeSaves. If you're smart Pixlr (and I know you read these reviews) I'd listen to the people, there are other ways to nickel and dime users, like giving us features worth paying for instead of taking away a basic feature like saving.

Daiky saves is a joke. Especially 2 everyday.
NOT GOOD ANYMORE it was ok, but now you have to pay or you can only save 2 images a day ridiculous, is not worth the upgrade, as there are other free alternatives! stay away

I decided to pay to get more than 2 saves a day but when I click on the $.75 a month option, it says I have to pay $1.99. I am willing to subscribe to the $.75 but see no way to do it.

Used to be a great free alternative to Photoshop, but now requires you to subscribe to a NZ$1.79 a month subscription to save more than 2 images a day. Okay, that is a very cheap subscription, but I was only using it to crop images, as it's faster than opening Photoshop to do the same thing on my computer.

The new save limit is ridiculous. I've been using Pixlr since 2014 or earlier, and its sole appeal is that it's marketed as a free editor. Having 2 saves a day makes it unable to do any mass editing (or any editing at all).

For a program that has been free for as long as I can remember. Making us pay for saves without warning is the stupidest thing I've ever seen now I can't even access my stuff and since Pixlr only exports a .pxz I can't transfer them so I'm screwed now.

I've been using Pixlr for, I'd say more than a year. I've loved it so far- I used it simply for cropping photos when I started with Pixlr X, and now I've moved onto Pixlr E to do more advanced stuff. It has almost all the things that larger brands like photoshop has, while being usable by the public.
HOWEVER, when I logged in and noticed that I had only two daily saves, I was disappointed to say the least. It was a fantastic website, but to ruin it by essentially saying "If you want to mass-edit photos you need to pay us" is so disappointing. I wouldn't recommend using it unless they get rid of this holdback.
