Had a few hiccups with the cheese, but replacement was sent next day very pleased with way it was handled

Easy enough to order and the cheese was delivered on Christmas Eve as requested. However out of five cheese four had been substituted. I understand that substitutions can and will happen and have no issue with one or even two being replaced. However to replace four out of five is not acceptable, the box I received barely resembled the box I ordered. Add to this the choice of replacements, Camembert, St Marcelin and Gruyère, nothing I couldn’t get from the supermarket.

Unfortunately, before I had found out about the replacements I had ordered a second box, also delivered promptly and with two of four cheeses substituted, for friends.

After finding out what had happened with the Christmas box I sent an email complaining and asking that the second box be cancelled. I am still waiting on a reply, meanwhile as previously mentioned the second box has been delivered…

I would consider using Pong again but certainly not around Christmas and not as a gift as I cannot guarantee that what I order will be what the recipient gets.

Absolute joke of a company. My order is stuck at Bristol royal mail since 17th December. I've called and called Pong and someone was supposed to be calling me back. 3 days later still no one has called. I've just called and I got the secretary 'who can not help me" answering a customer care line! So I'm now £60 out of pocket with 1 less Christmas present that I'm going to have to rush out and get something else. Going to be fun getting a refund 🙄

The firm was recommended by my daughter so I ordered with complete confidence.
The cheese was a present for in-laws at Christmas and Royal Mail failed to deliver - not the fault of Pong Cheese!
The major problem was that I was totally unable to contact the firm, either phone, email or message to arrange a replacement delivery.
Feel totally let down by their customer service.

Feel let down by customer service on this order, one of the cheeses arrived damaged and had leaked all over others.

Upon inspection said cheese was all slimy and didn't look safe for consumption.

Have emailed pong twice and had no response whatsoever.

Unsure as if would use again due to lack of customer service.

Really excellent cheeses with a good selection fom different countries as well as from the UK. Attention is paid to seasonal availability and the website is full of useful information. The customer service is bothhelpful and efficient.

Our daughter ordered us a mystery gift box to arrive on a certain date, it failed to arrive (not their fault), it eventually arrived 4 days late. The soft cheeses were at room temperature (not a good thing). When we contacted customers services they were on it immediately and sent a new box. Plus the cheeses are fabulous.

Absolutely STUNNING customer service and delicious cheeses too. Best cheese delivery company I've found.

Ordered The Scottish selection box for a specific Scottish event. Was sent two replacement cheeses. One was unsuitable as it was a hard cheese and should have been a soft cheese and the other was a Welsh cheese not Scottish .
Very disappointed as nobody contacted me to advise me of these changes and it’s now too late to order from another provider.

Love the packaging design, variety and quality of cheese. Sent this to cheer up
my friend as a surprise. She sent me photos we were all so happy with the presentation she received.l and so quickly. It means a lot to be able to send something that is so well thought through. When posting gifts to friends that are far away I want them to feel loved and not feel like I’ve just fired off a heartless internet order. Pong are fab. I appreciated how well presented the mystery box is.

Pong are apparently great prоfessionals. They are quick and efficient in despatching their products. I was pleasantly surprised with the fast delivery of the cheeses I ordered and there was even one complimentary cheese. Moreover, they had made sure the packaging would be safe and secure and the cheeses would be cool on arrival. I havent tried them yet, but I am sure the cheeses will taste superb. I placed an order from France for a friend's birthday gift who lives in Scotland. Everything went smoothly; the customer service responds quickly to questions and is very friendly. The package arrived quickly and matched the website description, very well packed with ice packs and straw. I appreciate the free cheese added to the order, a great idea to try new cheeses. It made a happy friend who now just has to enjoy and introduce French cheeses in Scotland.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Pong-Cheese to French people who want to send a gift to their expatriate loved ones!"

J'ai effectué une commande depuis la France pour le cadeau d'anniversaire d'une amie qui vit en Ecosse.
Tout s'est bien déroulé, le service client répond rapidement aux questions et est très aimable.
Le colis est arrivé rapidement et conforme à la description du site, très bien emballé avec des poches de glace et de la paille.
J'apprécie le fromage gratuit ajouté à la commande, une excellente idée pour essayer de nouveaux fromages.
Cela a fait une heureuse qui n'a plus qu'a déguster et faire découvrir les fromages Français en Ecosse.
En conclusion, je recommande vivement aux Français qui veulent faire un cadeau à leur proches expatrié de passer par Pong-Cheese !

The most excellent customer service I've experienced in a long time. First of all I gave the wrong delivery date, they changed this immediately for me. Then my friend gave me the wrong address for delivery so the gift was returned to them, I emailed them the correct address and offered to pay for the delivery. They agreed to resend the gift on the date I requested at no cost to me. Faultless service and the most delicious selection of cheese and biscuits. I'd highly recommend using Pong Cheese.

Everyone who I have sent a Pong cheese gift box has been delighted with it.
On a recent order I put the wrong delivery date down and so contacted the Pong Cheese team who sorted it out quickly & efficiently

It's always such a pleasure buying from Pong - I've never had an issue with them, despite the large number of orders I've placed, and everything is always delivered in perfect condition, exactly when they say they will. Pong do a brilliant job of helping me keep my elderly parents supplied with brilliant, delicious, and original cheeses: it's such a joy to find a company who don't need to be chased to deliver what they promise, and simply keep their word every single time. I wouldn't buy cheese from anywhere else - Pong are just fantastic.

Ordered the valentine's package on 07/02/24 (thinking this would be plenty of time for it to arrive - Pong Cheese obviously also thought so as they continued to sell it on their website for days afterwards - in fact they're still advertising their availability on 13/02/24!!) Message received on 12/02/24 to say it has been dispatched. Message on 13/02/24 informing that it hadn't been dispatched on 12/02/24 after all. But they hoped it would arrive on the 14th!! Let's hope my Valentine is as understanding as I'm meant to be!!

I have purchased from Pong Cheese on two or three occasions and found their products to be of not just excellent quality but an unbelievable range of international cheeses at very competitive prices. I can't remember the date of my last purchase but you can't leave a review without a date, so it is an estimation.
I have today (31-01-24) just read several of the reviews entered by customers of Pong Cheese. Only one of which was actually complaining about the cheeses. The remainder were almost all very complimentary about the product but several had issues with the courier, Royal Mail. I have not had problems with Pong Cheese as a company of any nature, BUT I have had extremely prolonged delivery times with Royal Mail and will go on record to say, of all couriers that deliver to my address, they are by far the worst for delivery times. With that in mind I fear for companies like Pong Cheese having their good names and products denigrated through no fault of their own.
