Absolutely appalling! I paid for silver membership and have done so for a number of years. I've placed an ad and it doesn't appear on the website. No one bothers to reply to emails asking for assistance, you just get ignored. I have emailed at least four times with no response. Their help info drives you nuts because it goes around in circles and doesn't help at all. There seems to be no way to have a conversation so I'm about to cancel my membership!

Despite emailing Preloved many times regarding message corruption issues, so impossible to see responses without random text characters, Preloved staff haven't responded and simply don't answer my concerns. Will have to stop using this service - a week later now and nothing has been done to fix the massive problem with garbled characters in messages - i suppose Preloved don't care at all

I've been a member of Preloved for 16 years, and over the last few years the service has got progressively worse: My current "beef" is that it's over a week since I submitted an advert and it's still not been approved and Customer services ignore emails as to why it's taking so long, and how to cancel my subscription.

The Service provided by Preloved is appalling and not fit for purpose. This Service has rapidly declined since I first used Preloved some 13 Years ago. I have complained several times to Preloved regarding this atrocious Service but have never received a response. Preloved have now responded here but have failed to respond to the numerous emails sent to them. Repeat this Service is NOT Fit for Purpose I have never seen a business customer service decline so rapidly over a thirteen year period. Where as their Competitors Services has improved considerably over this same period of time. I submitted TWO New Adverts to Preloved well over ONE WEEK ago and these Adverts are still waiting to be reviewed by Preloved themselves and consequently have NOT gone live after well over ONE Week. What an Abysmal Service this is. I am still waiting for My Adverts to be reviewed from 9th May to 27 May This Service is absolutely atrocious absolutely appalling. Failed to Respond to Emails sent to Preloved during this Period.

I have been a premium member since 2022. Preloved used to be excellent, however I have recently tried to place an advert(dirst in about 2-3 years), and just could not get it beyond pending review. I checked multiple times to be certain that the ad conformed to all rules, it did. I contacted Pre-Loved some 4-5 times to enquire as to what the problem was with my ad and/or why it was taling so long to be approved. Absolutely zero response from customer service. If they have not posted it within the next day I am just going to cancel my membership. It seems to be now little more than a defunct wesite that takes peoples money and delivers nothing...essentially, the definition of an online scam! If you are considering joining Preloved, BEWARE. If you feel you have to join them, do NOT get a paid membership, you will not receive anything for it. This is my first review on Trustpilot that has received less that 4 stars. I rate Preloved now at ONE STAR...if I could give them what they gave me in return form taking my money...I would say ZERO STARS. AVOID.

I used preloved for years, i used preloved alot for selling but recently, within the last few months, none of my adverts get approved, one advert took 2 months to be approved! I have emailed multiple times with no response, searched for a customer services number to no avail. I am also a paying member and feel like I'm been totally ignored, really not happy with their service and I will not be paying for my membership this year! Super unhappy customer

Buyer beware, my account has not worked since paying over 3 weeks ago, the Preloved team contacted me once! Once in 3 weeks. To tell me its my fault but to reactivate it they need my passport photo ID.

I dont think so, i dont trust you with my £6 and am correct in that, you arent having my data as well.

It takes over a week for pending adverts to get approved, by which time you no longer have the thing you advertised lol website is way too slow. I have messaged 3 times via my account with them, no reply, and I have checked my emails/spam just in case.

I’ve used preloved positively for many years I’ve tried to put an add on 12 days ago and wouldn’t let me upload pictures so don’t them after and it’s awaiting review, and still not been approved, I’ve emailed 3 times since and no response and said 72 hours and it’s been 1 week I’ve never had this problem before always found them fast and efficient but don’t seem to be getting any response now also the number on the email cuts off now and you can’t call for help.

Here's a good reason not to use Preloved:
In their T&Cs it says "You must not attack Preloved via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack". Any idea what that means? I guess what they are saying is "If you complain about not getting the service promised, we will make sure you NEVER get to use Preloved again". Yep, that's about the size of it. So they can rip you off, fail to deliver and - if you should dare to complain - they will kick you into the weeds. I have nothing to lose anymore, because that's what they did to me when I complained here before! AND I HAVE BEEN DRIVEN NUTS BY THIS COMPANY. What is the difference between Preloved.com and Preloved.co.uk? ANYONE? Nothing - they are one and the same. And nothing seems to be working on either. I was a member for many years. Then the messages between members became scrambled and Preloved wouldn't respond to complaints about it. NB: If you are afflicted by this, leave out paragraphs and all punctuation in your exchanges of messages. That helps a lot. Then I found I was getting charged twice for membership! I tried and TRIED to get help. Then my ads disappeared and could not be re-published, so members who had placed orders with me and paid in advance can't find me and I can't reach them! So Barclays recovered my fees and I closed my account. But that lost me my ads and decades of messages, but, hey what can you do? Started over, new account. New ads, all showing as "submitted", nothing to suggest there is a problem with them, but none are published! Sick to death of writing to Preloved, so resorted to reviewing them here in the hope that they might get in touch. All that happens is an AI response that leads absolutely NOWHERE. What a waste of time. This is what happens when a company gets so big that it can silence and crush anyone who complains. That way the public never get to know what is wrong with them. Mind how you go!

Absolutely abhorrent company! I have been contacting Preloved for around 2 months now with issues trying to get into the site to amend/delete/renew my adverts - no help whatsoever!

For the past week or two I have repeatedly contacted Preloved asking for help and assistance to sort out my account as I have messages to read - no help whatsoever!

Need I say any more?

I’ve had an account with Preloved Uk for several years and use it a couple of times annually. When I came to place a couple of adverts they’ve showed as pending awaiting approval. I realised my annual subscription had failed in December 2025 as card detail’s expired. So, new card details added and payment was collected by Preloved. I contacted them to advise that the above and assumed the adverts would now be reviewed and live and I asked for clarification of this action however, no response and ads were sat awaiting review. So, every 48 hours I sent a chaser request. No replies came however, when I log in there’s a white screen which doesn’t update and this has been this way for over 2 weeks. Again, I have contacted to advice preloved and ask us the white screen issue due to them trying to resolve my issue but there’s never a response to my messages. The only reply I have received was 3rd April to confirm my Preloved membership payment as successful. April is quickly passing and I’m disappointed having used Preloved well in the past that when I have an issue there’s no acknowledgment. I’ve spent time putting my adverts together and notifying Preloved but I don’t know what to do now. Do I find another site to sell from? Although a small subscription fee I’ve paid what has been the point when I can not get access or my adverts live and I had hoped to have sold in a few days from these listings but a few weeks on, I am frustrated that I can’t even post my adverts for sales.

Still no response from Preloved despite there assurance that this would be looked into & despite contact via their feedback page ensuring a 48hr response.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SUBSCRIPTION.
Preloved used to be a great place to buy and sell but perhaps since it is under new ownership it has become a waste of time and money.
Unable to post adverts as they supposedly sit awaiting editorial review, there's no response to emails and no contact telephone number. No response to X messaging either.
I have cancelled my Premium renewal and disappointed that my current subscription is wasted.
My advice is don't waste your money subscribing here.

This website has terrible technical problems. Listings are not showing up, even after going live.
Refreshed listings just disappear. New listings either get stuck awaiting approval, or get approved immediately but still can't be found when searching the site.
No reply to customer service messages.
No phone number to call.
Huge opportunity for a new competitor to Preloved to start up, with a website that works.

I have used preloved a few times over the years and never had an issue until now. I have tried to add an advert now since the beginning of March with it being stuck on awaiting a review, I have deleted the advert multiple times and re submitted hoping for a different result but never get one. Even though I have not needed to pay in the passed for a good experience I paid for a subscription to see if that effected the result and the advert said it went live but we are not able to see the advert when we search for it. I have messaged for support multiple times and had no replies to any of them.
They have taken my money but not provided the service I paid for as I still do not have an advert showing when it is searched for.

**UPDATE** It's now 23rd April & despite responding to preloved on here & several more emails to customer services, my 2 adverts still haven't been renewed or gone live, nor have Ivstill had any reply besides the brief msg below to which I responded??ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Zero ads go live after renewing them & zero customer service despite paying for silver account which gets renewed each year?? Time to close my account I think before they charge me again.
*UPDATE..It's now 12th April still my adverts have not been renewed or gone live in nearly 6 wks?. They never reply via customer service but reply on here then still do nothing so stats show they respond* No point having a website
So after waiting over a month for my ad to go live & contacting them on repeat I only got a reply because I posted on here & even then it took over a wk more. Like many others on here just said they couldn't find my account? Yet they can take payments & msg telling you to renew yr ad to the top. However when u do this it's another month before it goes live again?? So I listed another ad & once again 3 wks nearly & still not gone live or replied to my emails ?? It's now Easter not sold anything because ads don't go live hence my reason for another honest disappointing review hoping this will get them to at least respond. So we pay for a subscription on this site. IT'S NOT FREE & IT'S ABSOLUTELY USELESS. I need to renew & update my 1st ad but if I do this it will take over a month to go live again. I think this site needs to seriously be investigated as this seems to be a common issue. Other sites take 10mins to an hr to review & post ads. Don't waste your time or money!!!
**UPDATE**DEAR STEPHEN FROM PRELOVED. You replied on here yet nobody at preloved can ever reply directly. I gave all the information you asked for yet still my 2 ads ar not live?? Nor has anyone from preloved replied to my emails??? Something seriously going on with this website when everyone has to leave a review on here just to get a response. Still my 2 ads not bn renewed yet they remind u to keep renewing yr ads then rgey take weeks/months to go live?? Zero customer service. Appalling given I paid to be a full member each year.

My listing stating awaiting for approval for a more than a week. What a waste of time. Never will use the site again
