I would give lower than 1 if I could. I ordered a hutch cover which never arrived. The company said there was nothing they could do. Dreadful customer service, I highly recommend you do not use this company. Plenty of decent companies out there.

Excellent customer service - I even got an email to let me know I had ordered two hutch covers and checking that I actually wanted two and hadn't made a mistake (which I had). Instant refund for the extra ordered in error and the hutch and cover dispatched next day. Hutch itself was great quality - one little niggle that the the lock holes needed to be drilled - when rest had already been drilled but the instructions were clear and really happy with the quality of the hutch and the service received in ordering and delivering it

A great hutch. Quality is very clearly better than those you would pick up at a pet store. Also options for bigger hutches which allow my bunnies plenty of space to explore and stretch out. Assembly wasn't the easiest, however, I think this is a result of my DIY skills rather than the product! The hutch cover we purchased to match also works well.

I put a review on when I first bought our Hutch back in August and wanted to put a further review on. My Bunnies still LOVE their hutch and it is keeping them nice and warm in the cold! A few weeks ago a fox tried to attack them, the fox got through the cover and made a few scratches on the hutch but was unable to get any further and my Bunnies were safe! I have friends who have sadly recently lost guineapigs to foxes, due to poor quality cages, so I justed wanted to re-iterate how good quality and fox-proof these cages are!
Also, I emailed the team when it first happened and got lots of really helpful advice on tips on how to keep my bunnies safe!

I have purchased two rabbit hutches from this company and they were both of excellent quality. They are heavy, constructed with thicker wood and are built to last. I have also purchased the anti chew strips from this company and they are a great addition to any hutch.

The floor on one of my hutches was damaged and they sent out a replacement straight away. Cannot fault their customer service. The floor was damaged in transit so not this companies fault. Excellent company

As I said not surprised with this response. But let's tell the truth if you're going to reply to this public space.

1. The hutch was received on the 27th July and built on the 30th of July. My first contact with you regarding our issues was 19th September. That's 51 days!

The hutch I offered to return when PayPal asked me, so don't try and make out I want the hutch still after 13 weeks...I don't!

2. You keep mentioning the digging, (again playing it all down) what about the other issues like a rain cover that doesn't even fit over the hutch, or the ladder compartment that is dangerous, the late chew strips which basically ruined the doors and outside of the main hutch area.

3. Yes, one big mistake ordering a second hutch from your organisation. The reason we did it was to try a bigger more spacious hutch than the previous one. And like mentioned, we had loads of faults, but we had also had it for what we thought was too long to do anything about, ie return or refund so we just recycled it.

The final straw was after we spent a further £300 on a new one from you and only had it for a few weeks before having issues. We trusted your company and were willing to try again.

4. And for your final point. PayPal (the company regarding the chargeback) have made a massive error and have lost my evidence that I provided, which they are now looking into, so don't get too clever as this matter isn't over yet.

First Review:

Not usually someone who writes reviews on companies but felt like I had to for this company, so it can help others when selecting a so-called "better quality than other websites" or "cheaper than the high street" rabbit hutch.

Our first hutch was purchased at the end of May 2019 (double hutch with cover) the hutch was treated with Ronseal before usage and at first, glance looked great.

Then unfortunately after 2 months of usage, the floor on the first level started to warp. Credit to the company they sent a replacement after sending images to them to prove what had happened.

Then over the period of a few further months, the hutch roof screws snapped under the weight of the opening. I had to find thicker screws and new connections to refit the roof so that it was safe enough to open.

I should have complained then, but we did not and foolishly decided to trust this company again but with a different style of the hutch. On the 25-July-20 we purchased a Windsor hutch with run and two covers costing a total of £302.

We had recenlty spoken to our local vet before purchasing who told us that rabbits prefer to have lots of space whilst being on natural turf, so this helped us choose a more open hutch.

So upon arrival I treated the hutch with Ronseal like recommended on their website, I even purchased their new chew strips which didn’t arrive on time meaning my rabbits had already chewed the hutch before they arrived (not ideal) but then came the real issues.

I went outside one day to find my two rabbits bouncing around our garden. I looked at the bottom of the hutch and they had dug a huge hole and escaped. I thought nothing more of it and filled the hole again and purchased bricks to go around the outside of the hutch.

A few days later, the rabbits had dug another hole but this time under our laid paving slabs and now the slabs have come loose and dangerous. (wish I could post images to this review)

The stair ladder closure at the top of the hutch can be also closed by the rabbits meaning the rabbits are trapped up the top, this is not safe and could trap them in between floors. The final straw was the rain cover for the run. It is not long enough to cover the run, so it floods the run (what is the point of that?)

So, after spending over £500 on two hutches, in just over a year I thought this was ridiculous. So, I decided to email the company (19th September 2020), explain the issues and asked for a refund of the latest hutch (even offered to return the hutch to the company)

I was met with the most arrogant of responses from two members of staff basically blaming me and the rabbits for the errors raised in my email.

They have refused a refund and they have left me with no alternative but to take further action.

I am sure they will jump to this review to downplay the severity of my issues, and I do not expect anything less from their so-called ‘quality service’

I can 100% guarantee, you will find better quality hutches and far cheaper prices on the Highstreet. Do not be fooled like I was.

I purchased a Balmoral hutch just over 2 years ago. It is a beautifully made, sturdy hutch & looks great. Sadly my bunnies have damaged the pullout tray, so I emailed the company on the off-chance that I could get a replacement, not really expecting it to be possible & bracing myself to have to purchase a new hutch.
Just oven an hour later they replied, advised that they do have some "spares", & confirmed where it was to be sent to (despite only having my email & vague time of my previous order). Absolutely fantastic service from Chris, to match the brilliant product!

Pre ordered my Balmoral hutch and was advised via email end of July it would be dispatched due to backlog and covid.
Had an email Monday to advise it was being dispatched this Tuesday and they would inform me via text further details.
Tuesday text and email it had left and it arrived yesterday.
Amazing hutch very well made extremely sturdy. You get what you pay for.
Bought rain cover as well but not put that on yet.
Bunnies feel like they are in a palace now.

I don’t usually write reviews but I really want to write a review on this company and their hutches. I have just brought a balmoral hutch for my 3 baby lionhead bunnies and it is absolutely superb!! It is extremely well made, it went together brilliantly and was so easy to assemble as it is well labelled and well made. The wood and the wire is extremely good quality and the hutch is really spaciousness and the ramp is nice and wide with felt on so the bunnies feel secure. I really can not recommend this hutch highly enough, it has been well thought out so it ticks every box! It may be slightly more money than other hutches but it is well worth it and I think it is a very reasonable price for the quality and design of the hutch! I also brought the cover which again I would say is a really good buy, the cover is extremely well made and will ensure the protection of the hutch and the comfort or the bunnies in the winter. The company is fantastic and deserve all the praise they get. I was very impressed when I read the reviews before I made my purchase and the company certainly live up to the excellent reviews. There was very slight damage on a panel of the hutch on delivery, this was through no fault of the company and obviously happened through shipment, the correspondence from the company was fast and effective and I had a replacement panel within 3 days.... excellent service! I really cannot recommend this company highly enough, buy from here, you won’t be disappointed!! I am so pleased I have also ordered the 6-foot Single story hutch for my older rabbit!

We purchased the 6ft hutch March of last year, after months of research for our 2 bunnies, very pleased with hutch when it arrived, great quality and exactly what we were expecting. Sadly our side panels started to collapse on both sides after a year and my bunnies were very exposed, I emailed RH and even during this difficult time Covid 19 and them being under staffed I got a reply the next day, I spoke to Mike and one other who was very sympathetic and understanding, they asked for a few more photos to clarify damage and asked if the hutch had been moved at all to cause this damage, I said only slightly when sweeping underneath hutch which is necessary and they sent me both side panels to replace the following day. Great service and my bunnies are now safe and secure.

We had purchased a rabbit hutch with run from a different company for our two dwarf rabbits. We realised after putting that hutch together it was not big enough despite the description. We wanted to attach a permanent long run to it, so the rabbits could roam at their leisure, and after much research we purchased the large folding run, hideaway hutch, and two run covers from this company - Rabbit-Hutches.co.uk. The run is a good size and has fitted snugly against the hutch (we just removed the door from one end of the run). The fox proof safety latches on the run are a great feature. The run covers are a little expensive but are of very good quality and do their job, they also provide extra stability to the run when fastened on. The hideaway hutch fits neatly inside the run and we keep it at one end of the run where we can open the run easily and place treats inside the hideaway hutch, which is always nice and dry. The rabbits have also dug a burrow underneath the hideaway hutch and seem to enjoy all the extra space.
Fast and efficient service too from this company.
My only suggestion would be for a run cover which is wider and drops over the sides of the run to provide extra protection from the elements.

I purchased a hutch from rabbit-hutches.co.uk for my two rabbits who are super happy in their new home. Previously I bought a similar looking hutch from another supplier but when it arrived it was damaged, wasn't nearly as big as illustrated in the picture and the supplier told me 6 weeks to get a replacement part! So I went with the Balmoral from RH and it is as Illustrated on pictures and there's plenty of room for both my girls. The quality is excellent, far superior and very easy to assemble. I also purchased the cover to go around the hutch which is brilliant.and keeps both rabbits protected from wind and rain. I would highly recommend this hutch and the cover. I found the customer service with this company is second to none. Quick replies to my questions, plenty of comunication and just a nice bunch of people. In my opinion this is the place to buy your hutch, don't waste your time elsewhere.

Hutch arrived promptly. I made an error on the order and it was spotted and rectified and credits made to my account. Superb service. The Balmoral is great. Robust, well built and easy to assemble. I am so pleased! Thank you!

Extremely rude customer service. They sent me an extremely blunt and rude email when asking for advice on fitting their run to one of their hutches. Customer service is obviously not high on their agenda. Fiddly to build and expensive for the quality. AVOID and use a more polite and customer friendly company as I will in future.

Edit: i wrote this in 2019, they replied at the time with a relatively rude response. They have changed their response twice today, 6 years later, to make themselves look better. Be careful.

My personal experience with this company was extremely awful! The hutch I ordered arrived damaged in more than one place and the hutch itself was so top heavy and the bottom so flimsy that it FELL OVER with my rabbits inside!!

When I contacted the company about it they were nothing but rude, accusing me of lying about how the hutch fell over and insinuating that there was more to it, which there wasn’t! Not only that, they didn’t once ask if my rabbits were okay which tells me that they don’t care about the welfare of our pets at all!

The emails I got back from a guy called Mike were so rude and inconsiderate that I would never ever go back to them based on that alone, it was uncalled for and not helpful at that time when I had almost lost my rabbits.

It literally took almost a month to get my money back, and even then I had a hard time getting it back. I had to resend many of my emails just to get a response and the fact that they don’t have a phone number isn’t not only painfully annoying but very fishy, now I know why!

They also told me I wouldn’t find a better quality hutch for that price anywhere else but I literally ended up paying less money for an amazing quality hutch which was handmade for me.

Overall, awful quality, way overpriced and they have no customer service skills whatsoever. There were no positives to my experience, none.

Rabbit Hutches have provided us with excellent Customer service as well as a superior hutch for our rabbit. Quality of the product is first class with strong wood and wire and very easy to assemble. We also bought the hutch cover and run cover, both of which are also of a high standard and fit the products well. In our opinion these are good value for money given the superior size and quality. We have a very happy bunny in her 5 star accommodation and have just ordered an additional run for the rabbit as we were so impressed.

The hutch Arrived quickly, was easy to put together. The fittings are of top quality and the design means you have good access to your rabbit. The rabbits themselves seem comfortable and there is a good amount of space. We purchased the Windsor with run and the cover. an excellent hutch well made easy to assemble and of top quality! I have no complaints and would highly recommend to others.

10/10 bought a Balmoral Rabbit Hutch for my daughter who absolutely loves it.

Great design, a lot sturdier than any other hutch I have purchased. The wood seems to be of a good quality and comes with a base coat which we will treat in the next few days.

Customer services was second to non, Responded to every email within 1 hour. Absolutlely fantastic.
