Good information and good product delivered on time

The Chubb Homestar safe arrived promptly and installation was fairly straightforward. Decided not to use the included sleeve anchors as they looked a bit flimsy. Would not like to risk applying the required torque of 50Nm on these, used Rawlbolts instead.

Great service at a decent price.

We recently upgraded our house locks. Everything came quickly and as expected. A keyed alike item was out of stock at the time of order and it had an expected date to come in. The item got dispatched same day and arrived in the morning the next to me!

Would recommend to anyone.

The safe we ordered was received on good time but had slight cosmetic damage in transit. The issuenwas resolved very quickly to my total satisfaction. Would glady recommend using them.

I trust the padlock is robust and waterproof to keep our oil tank safe.

Great company that is able to do multiple same keyed locks, and with great efficiency.

Order marked as despatched on 7 April with 5-7 working day delivery by Fedex. No tracking information provided. 17 April I telephoned to check on order. Was told I'd be called back. Wasn't, so I rang again. Was told order had been despatched 'yesterday' (16 April). According to Fedex tracking they were notified of shipment on 13 April but were yet to receive my order. Safe said my order was delayed 'because Easter was in between'. However, 7 April, the date I ordered an 'in stock' item, is after Easter. Dire service and lamentable excuses which don't stack up. I cannot in all conscience recommend. And I haven't even got my £400+ order yet.

Update, 18 April. Order still not received by Fedex. No explanation or update from Safe.co.uk whom I'd now give minus stars to if I could. Utterly shambolic. I cannot in all conscience recommend.

The Good: Quality & Value
I can’t fault the safe itself. It’s a heavy-duty, high-quality piece of kit that feels incredibly secure. For the price I paid, the value for money is exceptional—it’s solid, the locking mechanism is smooth, and I have no doubts about its fireproof capabilities.

​The Bad: Delivery & Damage
The reason for the three-star rating comes down entirely to the delivery process. This is a heavy item that clearly requires a two-person lift. Instead, it was delivered by a single person who lost control of the box and dropped it right outside my doorway.

The Result:
After getting it unboxed and installed, afew days later I noticed a medium sized dent in the painted metal where it hit the ground. While the damage is purely cosmetic and doesn't seem to have compromised the actual security or integrity of the safe, it's frustrating to buy a brand-new item only for it to arrive damaged because health and safety protocols weren't followed.

Summary: Buy the safe for the quality, but be wary of the delivery logistics. It’s a great product, but mine looks like it’s already had a fight with a hammer before I even put my first document inside.

Great service from beginning to the end . Slight delay in delivery but soon sorted with a phone call to customer care who were quick to resolve - would definitely recommend this company.
