SAINSBURYS WHITE EGGS MADNESS…
I frequently shopped at Sainsburys store in Ellesmere Port. However, I became aware today that Sainsburys are stopping the provision of brown eggs and will only sell white eggs in future. This is apparently because white eggs are supposedly " better for the carbon footprint". How on earth will this be better? What difference will this make? AND, Which idiot manager at Sainsburys decided this was a good thing? It will affect customer choice. It will affect our farmers yet again, giving them more problems to deal with, as if they haven't already got enough. It's madness and will not make any difference. It is so ridiculous. This is Sainsbury's dictating what customers should buy. Well, I'm not having it. My shopping including my brown eggs will be bought from a different supermarket. One that will respect my choices and sells the eggs I want. Oh and by the way Sainsbury's make it very difficult, almost impossible to make a complaint. So !
It's goodbye to Sainsbury's from me.

Sainsburys great yarmouth.bad customer care Argos inside sainsburies would not let me have my ebay small parcel despite me having a yodel delivery notice to their store, And a ebay delivery notice to their store both pick of delivery notices on my phone staff nasty and arrogant a big buffoon said it will get sent back were it come from pakistan more likely a staff members house. I have shopped at sainsburys in my home town for over 20 years online deliverys and pickups £40 plus a month.i am on holiday yarmouth at the mo. Terry Tunney ex sainsburys user

Bad experience when I received my deliveries from Sainsbury. The first times I had to give back two items in every delivery but the last time was awful. 6 items refunded: the rye bread smashed, Broken bags of okra and apples, leaking washing liquid, yellow cavolo Nero and tenderstem brocoli. I had to take onions with the leave growing as I really needed as well as okra and detergent.

Took my elderly mother in Sainsbury’s and she needed to use the toilet. What greeted us would nothing more than filth. Did put a review on the store in question for Google not to put it up saying the photos I took could be copyright
Sainsbury gagging customers
Sainsbury tell us more people now shop in store, so they now prevent you from reviewing anything that's really bad. You have to have ordered the product online. If you buy in store they say, using your nectar card they may send you a email to review products, of course they never do.
The perfect way to stop bad reviews
Took my elderly father to his local…
Took my elderly father to his local store in Reedswood. This store has ample parking space clean entrance security mostly at front of shop.Staff who work the selfservice hats off to you.As for availability very low on meat joints who ever they had on freezer they were arrogant when I asked a question about food being out for so long in the heat.
Embarrassing & a shambles.
Going from a colleague to a customer to not going back ever! The management do not care about others well being or mental health. They treat you unfairly & working their previously was a massive error in my life. If your thinking of working for Sainsburys then don't! Customer service is appalling & unless they get your money in their pockets, they won't value you. Very unprofessional management team, I feel sorry for the current staff who get treated like crap!
They will still sell out of date items without you realising, they don't give a toss about anyone but themselves. A place to avoid & their managers are an embarrassment to the company
This company does not value the…
This company does not value the customers at all. Ordered online as a mother of 2 under 2, and received mouldy tomatoes! That is unacceptable. I called the Huddersfield store and they said there is nothing they can do and they would try to speak to the person who packed the order! Ee excuse me, people are struggling everyday to buy the basics and you are messing with their food? They sent me wrong items, and replaced with completely irrelevant items. That is on every single online order! They don’t deserve my money.
My Mum and Dad used Sainsbury’s online…
My Mum and Dad used Sainsbury’s online delivery service to avoid having to go out in the very hot weather. My Dad is 81 years old and struggles mobilise on a good day but with the added humidity we’ve had in recent days makes it almost impossible especially with heavy shopping bags.
The £200 worth of shopping arrived on time but some of the food smelt off. My Mum mentioned it to the driver and he ignored her concerns.
When unpacking the shopping the smell had transferred onto most of the food so Mum used antibacterial wipes to sanitise the packaging. If I had been there I would not have accepted the order but Mum and Dad do not like to “cause any problems”.
We wrote an email to Sainsbury’s customer service and all of the above was explained and we asked for the shopping to be collected. Not only because of the foul smell but because the vegetables were discoloured and shrivelled up and the fridge food had a maximum of a two shelve life on them. My parents ordered a large shop to cover them for up to a week to avoid having to go out in the heat.
Customer services replied and offered them £7 compensation.
In the email we explained that Mum and Dad have used Sainsbury’s for most of their married life and they have never had service as poor as this in all the time.
I will be taking the shopping back to Sainsbury’s tomorrow and demanding a full refund!
This is not the type of service you’d expect from one of the leading supermarket chains, but saying that is there such a thing as customer care anymore?
Sainsbury’s you’ve not only upset my parents but you’ve also lost two loyal customers who spend a lot of money in your shop.
I heard a rumour about Sainsbury's…
I heard a rumour about Sainsbury's meat, so I contacted them thinking the rumour would be squashed, I included their CEO, I wanted answers to the questions below.
1. If the leg of lamb I have purchased was killed at a Halal slaughter house
2. Is it possible the leg of lamb I purchased has had a Halal blessing?
3. Why can the leg of Lamb I brought not be sold in the EU, is it A, Solely down to Brexit and the Northern Ireland border issue. Or B. for another reason?.
Sainsbury's refuse to answer these questions they will say, In New Zealand it is common for lamb to be blessed however we have never requested this and all of our own brand meat is from animals stunned prior to slaughter, that does not answer my questions, so I have closed my Sainsbury’s account, and I won't be shopping with you Sainsbury’s anymore. I have a right know about the food you are selling me. Can anyone else help with answer my questions please?
Discounted offers not reflected at the self service till.
Discounted prices don't seem to be reflected when it comes to paying at the self service till.
This has happened twice this week. I wonder how many times I missed the overcharge!
Stroppy driver
I have had six years of online deliveries. That’s approximately 300 deliveries. I live in a flat on the second floor. No one has really had an issue with it other than one driver saying they needed to deliver to the first floor. However, in the last two weeks I had a driver who was very passive aggressive and said ‘I hate flats and I hate this job!’. Very unprofessional. Another one today was apparently waiting on the ground floor for me. He said ‘We only deliver to the ground floor and I rang the bell twice’. After 300 deliveries to my door how would I know I was meant to go downstairs?!!! I think Sainsburys need to be clearer with customers about what expectations are. I won’t order from them again.
Service Desk staff not friendly
I came through the self service tills and I took a little time looking for any vouchers i may have, the assistant came over to help, she took my nectar card from me and scanned it. But unfortunately when I looked at the receipt it hadn't taken my discount off a couple of items. She told me I had to go to the service desk, where I explained to the assistant. Who was rather quite rude. Instead of refunding the 2 items that were on the nectar discount, and rebuying the items using my nectar card, she made a big deal out of it. Calling for someone to check. Honestly it's not hard to refund and buy back. But she didn't want to give me the points . She kept me waiting for 10 minutes with her patronising chat. Telling me I hadn't scanned my nectar card, I told her it wasn't me but the till assistant who scanned it. Honestly if your going to have someone on a service desk. They need to be polite and friendly. As it is I lost points on £14.of shopping.
Online timing out!
I came home from hospital last week and as I cannot lift or carry anything, decided to order online, using my mobile.
I booked my delivery time and proceeded to shop and tallied up £147.00 of products.
At the end when trying to pay, there were no slots available, as I had been timed out.
I 'phoned the help line and was told that I would have to book another day!!!!
Needless to say, I will be giving my order and money to another store in future.
Sainsbury no added sugar instant custard is awful
Bought two yesterday and its awful.
I have posted this comment twice now…
I have posted this comment twice now once to Sainsbury's and another on Trustpiolt but none have had the decency to contact me in any way.
It seems Sainsbury's could not care a toss about the welfare of its customers or the problems the customer has. Pity Sainsbury's you really do did to copy what Amazon Customer Service are doing as they seem far more successful than you.
Sainsburys Apsley Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire food order.
My Sainsbury's food delivery arrived on time and the driver was helpful and polite so no problems there.
I always order my beer with the shopping but this time while handling the bottles several bottles seemed have small bits of broken glass stuck to them, five small cuts that bled and a few skin cuts they were not that deep or bled.
If you have breakages you need to wash all the bottles down clearing any glass chippings away so they will not stick to other bottles and reduce the chances of the customer getting hurt.
I have not contacted your customer service as it's based abroad and they will not deal with this sort of problem or have a manager who can take action.

Still waiting on my delivery over 24 hours late
Still waiting on my delivery, 24 hours later. Called sainsbury 6 times. I am a carer for my partner, so unable to go out. Ran out of food today. Still no call back from Sainsbury's. Said it should be delivered later, but not sure it will be. Its a disgrace. Call centre just calls the store. Can't get an answer, can't even complain. Offered me £20 voucher!! I just want my grocery delivery. They have taken the money and not delivered the food. Its a disgrace
Poor Gammon joint
We were away and went Sainsbueys in Morecombe, to buy a Gammon joint for Easter Sunday. The gammon joint has just fallen apart when the supporting string was taken off. I was unable to slice a reasonable slice and have had to serve it as bits of gammon. The joint as a whole appears to have been several pieces all held together by the string and sold as a joint. I've have been better elsewhere and paying alot less!
Went to Sainsbury’s local
Went to Sainsbury’s local, they had many items piled up in a trolley, I asked if they were reduced items for customers to buy? I was told that they were items going into the dustbin, I asked if I could buy them on reduced prices, I was told NO! They were going out of sale by date, and must be thrown away! I was shocked that Sainsbury’s staff preferred to throw them edible food items away, instead of letting struggling shoppers to buy them. Sainsbury’s management staff, have a rethink, help the struggling customers.
As I used to work for them and had…
As I used to work for them and had shares I expected a decent service. I ordered a decent amount of goods ready for Christmas. On the day my order wasn’t delivered. When I enquired why I was told there was nobody in to accept the order, I have a Ring doorbell and just so happened to be sitting in the window writing Christmas cards. To me I think there’s someone telling porkies here. I got through to the Hub and was told I would have my order delivered next day. I was sent an email saying my order had been cancelled on that morning. I have received no apology and no explanation as to why that driver decided he couldn’t be bothered. I now shop at Tesco.
