Our Salamander Hobbit was installed on Friday this week and its already been on once. With a young family it throws out enough heat to allow them to enjoy playing comfortably but it is not to over bearing. The install space was tight so this fitted in perfectly.

Really pleased with the knowledge, the invoicing and general service and final installation of the Stove from start to finish. Very professional. They know their stuff!

Absolutely delighted with our little Hobbit log burning stove. A real quality build, looks fabulous, easy to operate and really packs a punch.

I've been dealing with this company on and off for over a year. The products are excellent. GRACE and her team are so helpful, all of the time and nothing us too much trouble.

My Salamander Hobbit was installed last week. Its small neat size meant it was possible to fit it into my very old cast iron surround. It throws out a lot of heat for its size, both with wood or solid fuel. One observation I would make though is that the door handle is made from a material which conducts heat and I can’t therefore open it without using a fire glove. Not ideal. My old stove (a Morso) had heat resistant handles.

Our stove was fitted in early January and we have been using it very regularly since. Absolutely delighted - it works brilliantly and looks great.

Grace is an amazing knowledgeable lady. She designed my entire system which is now in place and looks fabulous. Even though she and the company had closed for Christmas, Grace helped me many times via text and email when I was unsure about things. Genuinely brilliant. 100 out of 100.

We are absolutely delighted with our Little Range Cook Stove in every way - amazing heat output, aesthetically pleasing and wonderfully practical. It arrived on time, and the Salamader staff were always ready to help. We really couldn't imagine our kitchen without this lovely stove!

Fantastic, quality product and fast and efficient service

We are building a shepherd's hut and planned to install a wood burning stove. After researching and identifying Salamander Stoves, we ordered the Hobbit stove. The information provided on their website was extremely useful particularly the guidance for the selection of the appropriate flue kit. The selection of the relevant accessories was also clear. Grace was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and our stove was shipped and arrived on the agreed day. I wish more companies provided such a great experience!

Salamander stoves are a lovely company to deal with, always extremely helpful over the phone and quick to email instructional videos and PDFs.

We are in love with our little hobbit stove! Not only does it look quirky and gorgeous but it throws out some serious heat from such a small thing. It is super burn- efficient and only needs one little log each hour to keep the room toasty. It’s great for cooler spring evenings as the only heat source and as a supplementary source in the winter. The only thing I wish was that there was also a slightly bigger Hobbit for our other fireplace, where the room is much bigger. I can’t find anything as beautiful to look at. 5 stars for this mighty midget!

Recently finished putting Hobbit Stove in my self-build shepherd's hut. It is a lovely piece of kit and is now successfully blazing away. The process of installing a wood burner was a bit daunting for someone doing it for the first time, but Grace and the team at Salamander were incredibly supportive and kept me right. After sales advice has been really helpful. I highly recommend this company.

What a great experience, not only are we really happy with the stove but the real star of the show is their customer service. Ordering a stove for our narrowboat was not easy, everything is bespoke in regards to sizing so it made it rather difficult to figure out exactly what we needed.

Grace in particular was an absolute star, I could tell straight away that I was speaking to someone who really knows what they are doing and that was really refreshing with a purchase like this.

After installation, they are still there to answer any questions I have and I know that won't change if I have one in a years time. If you are looking to support a small business that puts the customer first, this is it!
