A fantastic evening. Brilliantly organised and Dr Jennifer Farrell was an exceptional speaker. Passionate, engaging and thoroughly entertaining. A fascinating subject ("The History of Witchcraft & Women : Magic, Rituals & The Patriarchy). This was my first Seed Talks event but most definitely won't be the last. Many thanks to everyone for putting this together.

The talk on folk horror was excellent. And well portrayed by prof Marisa linton. She was very knowledgeable on the subject. We are hoping to attend more at the harraby theatre carlisle.

The talk was brilliant. Structured perfectly and kept the audience listening with anticipation.

The topics discussed were informative and Marisa the speaker was obviously knowledgeable and delivered it perfectly.

Too much driven by the kerr-ching. Overpriced tickets for talk. Then another £5+ to download a CPD certificate...who does that? Especially without any indication of a cost. Better advertise price or give for free as sweetener. Nothing for free in seedtalk land. At least why not show concern for young and give student/ yp discount.

Speaker Dr Miguel Toribio-Mateas was extremely knowledgeable (ADHD gut-brain connection) and very engaging. It was fascinating and relevant and can’t wait to receive the recording so I can listen to again. Only downside was that joining this talk online, I couldn’t hear properly and lost connection a few times at the start so missed first 10 mins or so. Was fine after that.

The seed talks.co.uk fermentation and pickling class was well thought out and presented. Lots of information and great demonstrations. Really worth the money and would definitely recommend this class by Asa Simonsson.

I attended the online Zoom of Helen McCarthy’s “History of Manga” seed talk and thoroughly enjoyed it. She certainly knows her subject and is an extremely engaging speaker. I heartily recommend Helen McCarthy and Seedtalk and particularly recommend Helen McCarthy’s Seedtalks!

I enjoyed the talk. The venue was easy to access. Helen was highly knowledgeable, funny and the Q&A was extremely insightful.

Seed Talks find the nuance in scientific understanding and lived experience. There are so many engaging topics to choose from that are often missed from mainstream media.

The presentations are easy to follow and the admin colleagues are very attentive. This results in a pleasant and ADHD friendly experience.

This talk was incredibly informative and was very validating for my health problems.

Very interesting and informative, Jane Green had a clear knowledge of her subject.

I was due to attend a talk on Greek Myrhology at 7pm on 3rd June at Brighthelm Centre in Brighton. Unfortunately, I came down with a migraine and could not attend. I emailed the organisers and within a frew days, the book which I'd bought as part of the ticket, arrived at home. The people to whom I spoke were kind and helpful and the aftercare was great. Looking forward to attending a future talk.

I have now attended 4 Seed Talks & can honestly say I have found them all to be very interesting & enjoyable. The speakers are knowledgeable & passionate, allowing time at the end for Q&A’s. It’s the quickest 2 hours ever.
They are Norwich’s hidden secret, I almost hesitated on reviewing them incase the get too popular!
Seriously, if you see something advertised which interests you, do book, you won’t be disappointed
