Three of us attended The Science of Dreams and were a bit disappointed. It was ok overall, but the title is mis-leading as there wasn't much science in it.

Dr Sam De Butt was a very entertaining and knowledgeable presenter, with a humorous slant on Folk Horror. The Maddermarket setting is intimate and cool so the audience is fully immersed in the Seed Talk. This is the 3rd one I have been to and would thoroughly recommend you book something of interest to you.

I really enjoyed this talk by Seed talks in Cyprus Avenue, Cork. It was well organised and presented. I learnt alot of information.

The speaker was so well informed, truly an expert. She also had an engaging way of presenting, very down to earth, a sense of humor, a good pace. This is the first webinar I actually came away more knowledgeable on the promised topic!!! Immediately afterward I was scouring the internet looking for the presenter’s name to find more courses available on the subject taught by her. Truly refreshing to hear an honest, authentic instructor for once!! Thank you!

I love the different perspectives and how Professor Purkiss ties the relevancy of modern era thinking in with historical norms. It's also nice to get a reality check on what really happened. Love Professor Purkiss' sense of humor and irony.

Professor Diane Purkiss is highly educated and presents the information so confidently and easy to follow. I will be coming back for more!

For someone who always had passion to sea spirits and mermaids it was very interesting!Definitely recommended!

I enjoyed a warmly and clearly spoken presentation about mermaids and similar beings with a broad and deep knowledge making the subject utterly fascinating.
More insightful and relevant to our past and current day than one might suppose of stories and cartoons.

The talk was perfect, covered all that I wanted it to on Music and the Brain, the speaker was excellent and very clear and concise. My first time at Seed Talks, I will be looking for more.

I attended a very interesting talk about women in endurance sport, the content was extremely interesting and engaging and the session was run very smoothly

Rachel Newsome was incredibly adept at presenting Jung’s complicated psychology into a simple easy to understand package. She was an enthralling speaker.

Such a good talk, the speaker was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about studio Ghibli, rather than just reading from slides she clearly knew her stuff inside out and was funny, interesting and engaging, more than happy to answer questions too. Really good talk.

Amazing speaker!
Helen McCarthy is an engaging and hugely knowledgeable speaker. Her own warm and caring personality also came through, with the reult that, when she spoke of going to Ghibli park at some point in the future I found myself really wishing i could go with her.
The time flew past and the Q and A was so interesting.

Helen McCarthy's talk on the Art History of Studio Ghibli was a tour de force that surpassed all our highest expectations. Fascinating, intriguing and magical, just like the underlying subject matter - talks have no business being this entertaining!

Ghibli fans, young and old, this will rekindle your passion for the movies you have already seen many times over, as well as inspire you to finally check out the ones you never quite got round to watching.
