went to Seaham Specsavers today for an annual eye test, brilliant young lady tested me for eye glacoma, then i went in for my eye test, a lovely young lady called Sana Khalil put me through an my examination and eye test, highly recommended, cannot praise them enough,All of Specsavers staff at Seaham are brilliant, would not go any were else, highly recommended

VERY POOR QUALITY LENSES, PURCHASED TWO PAIRS OF GLASSES (ONE OF WHICH ARE A WASTE OF TIME AND I HAVE NOT USED IN 18 MONTHS) THE OTHER PAIR THAT I USE DAILY HAVE BECAME NEARLY UN USABLE DUE TO THE COATING "BREAKING DOWN" AS I WAS INFORMED. I ONLY EVER CLEAN THEM WITH THE CLOTH PROVIDED BUT IN MY OPINION I THINK ITS MY EYE LASHES THAT ARE REMOVING THE COATING. SHOULD THEY NOT BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND THIS? WAS INFORMED I HAVE AN EYE TEST IN A COUPLE MONTHS SO THEY WILL CHARGE ME AN EXTORTIONATE SUM AGAIN FOR SUB STANDARD LENSES..........I THINK NOT

I am writing to share my gratitude for the team at the Coventry City Centre store. We visited three times recently- for an initial eye test, to choose glasses, and finally for collection.

​As the mum of an autistic son who struggles with severe anxiety and does not communicate verbally in a typical way, medical-style appointments are historically very difficult for him. However, the level of expertise and genuine care we received from at least five different staff members was outstanding.

​I would particularly like to highlight the
​inclusive communication. Staff spoke to my son in a way that suited his needs while ensuring he was fully included in the process.

The lady who initially measured his glasses was very patient and took the time to explain everything clearly.

On our collection day, my son recognised the staff member who measured him, and she went out of her way to say hello and talk to him. It was also wonderful when a staff member from our first visit stepped in to help when he was struggling to follow instructions.She was another staff member who was helpful from the start.

​Being told 'let us know if you need any support' made me feel seen and supported as a parent. Every one of those ladies showed that they clearly understand how to adapt their approach for neurodivergent patients. They turned what is usually a high-stress ordeal into a smooth, successful experience.

You have a group of staff who truly understand the meaning of accessibility and I am now confident that my son will cope with future appointments there.

Staff were friendly, chatty, and warm, which helped me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in.The Opticians took time to explain test results, discuss eye health, and provide advice. When I chose my frames, the staff provided me with honest, helpful feedback on my selection.
