We had the Stiltz lift put in several years ago when we moved to a house where the living accommodation is upstairs. We felt we needed to future proof the house so we could get upstairs easily in the years to come. We mainly use it to get shopping up to the kitchen at the moment but it is also useful for moving heavier items up and down. The grandchildren also love it!

Our home lift has become increasingly valuable to us as time has passed. Especially useful for taking our shopping to the kitchen on the first floor. When the family dog visits she automatically goes to the lift, though she has not yet learned to press the buttons!

We had our lift fitted some 2 years ago and it has performed as required. It was particularly useful when my wife recently both knees replaced. We also bought the extended warranty and service plan which works well.

Installation went like a dream, Instruction on use was brilliant. The service every year cannot be faulted.

We've had the Stiltz lift for three and half years now.
The installation took one week since we have a complex situation (the living quarters are upstairs and the bedrooms and entrance downstairs and a support wall had to be broken through). The work was done efficiently and cleanly.
We have had annual maintenance calls and on two occasions had to have service call outs for minor adjustments. These were dealt with within 24 hours -- and we live on the Isle of Skye.
The lift has really made a great difference to our comfort and ease of moving around the house -- we are 82 and 88. Our Skye terrier really appreciates the ease of getting up- and downstairs.
We would heartily recommend Stiltz Lifts to anyone.

The shape of our stairs ruled out a stairlift so asked Stilz to asses our house to see if their lift could be fitted. We have a 3 bedroom house. But one large square lounge diner. The need to get upstairs overruled my reluctance to have lift in lounge/diner. However lift fits in better then hoped. My husband 5 years later diagnosed with terminal illness and last year I was too. The lift has made our quality of life good- no beds downstairs.

From the solid installation to the after service and annual maintainance, all my interactions with my lift and Stiltz have exceeded expectations. This installation has changed our lives.

A very pleasant and efficient fitter came to service our STILTZ lift. He explained what he did. It was a pleasant and a thoroughly enjoyable experience, especially for our dog who enjoyed his company.

Fantastic company very professional from start to finish. The lift is a life changer and helps us stay in our own home without the hastle of moving. The installation was great and the installation crews were very helpful and made it pleasant.
The only gripe I have is we took out a service / maintenance plan and it’s done by direct debit on a certain date and we cannot change this date to help us plan our budget better which is disappointing.

As my arthritis continues to worsen I had a choice of move house or make changes to allow me to continue living in my home. I explored options and settled on a lift that could in the future take my powered wheelchair, should it become necessary to use it in the house. I found a location I thought might work and contacted Stiltz. They were very helpful, explained the legal situation regarding building regulations and confirmed my belief that an internal wall (not load bearing) would need to move a foot or so to allow clearance. It was done well with the minimum of disruption and the lift has been invaluable, although I’m pleased to say I don’t yet need it every day. After sale servicing has been good as well with free upgrade to latest building fire regulation and the latest service in 2025 replacing the backup battery as the engineer noticed it was tending to lose charge. Can’t fault it really.

Initial problems were quickly ironed out and my beautiful Stiltz lift was installed in February last year. Having lived downstairs for the previous 7+ years because of disability, it was wonderful to be able to go upstairs again and use my old bedroom. Having a home lift was the best decision ever, and I am glad I went for Stiltz, rather than a stair lift: It is safer and much more practical!

Lift has been a huge success. We live on the 1st floor and transporting shopping etc has been an added bonus.

All I can say is thank goodness I did have the Stiltz lift installed. Without it I would now be limited to living on only one floor and would probably have had to move to a bungalow. Instead, I am still in the home that I love and have enjoyed for over 35 years. It is faultless and allows me, at 84,a lifestyle that I never imagined.

Go for it! It was an excellent decision. The people who installed the lift respected the coving in the ceiling, chose an ideal space and did it quickly and cleanly. We may be old, but we use both floors in our house, not one.

Stilts arranged everything. Excellent work. All involved were polite friendly and respected me and my property. Lift has changed my life ( no fear of falling on the stairs now).

Our lift is an essential in our home
It gives access to parts of a large rambling house that had become very difficult.
It has been in use for some years now.
