Spoilt games by unattended children
We had children from about 8-11 yrs who were completely unattended by any adults .Probably sitting in the cafe area chatting together we were in lane 15 I am 77 and love Bowling. I was with 5 of my grandchildren aged from 13-28. The unattended boys in the next isle were keeping all the bowls that they liked leaving mainly the really heavy bowls for us only. I have a really bad back (crumbling Spine) my 18yr old granddaughter spoked to them very politely and asked them to share . Which went on deaf ears . Which definately spoilt my time there spoiling my games and the younger grandchildren. I’m sure that children younger should not be left unattended???

A good morning out with the grandchildren
The place was easy to find and to negotiate once inside. The staff were helpful. Everywhere was clean and the atmsphere was good and felt safe.

Very poor and disappointing experience…
Very poor and disappointing experience compared to my last visit a couple of years back.
Arrived and waited at reception for around 10 minutes before being seen, then had another 5-10-minute wait at the bar to be served... it wasn't that busy...
Then walked over to our lane, which we were told was "ready" for us. The lane had a sticky floor from a spilt drink, accompanied by a collection of used glasses, napkins, and rubbish.
Started playing bowling, and one of us needed the bumpers on; however, they didn't work... it was a bit of a disaster start to finish.
I would now say I highly don't recommend going to Tenpin Kingston. Unhygienic, inattentive staff, and very poorly run. Was expecting a lot better, saying it was close to £60 for the 4 of us to play 2 games of bowling.

Worn out and not enough staff for a bank holiday…
More staff needed the lane 8 broke down 3 times we had to keep going to complain about it. Finally moved over to lane 7 and the guards wouldn’t work kept breaking down. Paid £54 for 1 game for 6 kids. for the game and spent most time queuing up to speak to the person who kept disappearing because he was covering the drinks and the prizes stall and the food distribution. Awful considering bank holiday and such a busy place so understaffed and considering taking all that money not even upkeeping the place. The kids in between being bored of waiting went to arcades and so many times the machines wouldn’t take the money and then not work. So again queuing to see the manager and get their money back. Wish they would maintain the place better considering the over pricing

Bowling
We had a great time bowling. I took my grandsons and we had the meal deal with bowling which was a really good deal. Only downside was the meal didn’t come with a drink, I just presumed it did and drinks were £3.50 each which was quite expensive .

Untrained Staff Members
The two women behind the bar that night were very incompetent and clueless. The first one (dark hair) didn’t even bother to make my drink which I have ordered to my lane over 20 mins ago on the app. When I went over to chase it up she looked at me like had 3 heads. She finally made it but gave no apology or anything.
I came back later to order another drink and the other lady (blonde) behind the bar had absolutely so idea how to make a simple vodka and coke.
Did these woman receive any kind of training behind the bar?
Also it was one of the hottest days of the summer and there was so air conditioning. What’s up with that?
I won’t be back after receiving such a shit service

Only one person to do everything like…
Only one person to do everything like book people in and the. The lane broke so we had to move our game to another lane and we booked food which the staff knew and I had to chase it several times and it still came out 20 mins after our game had finished , the good was oily and refried and clearly rushed . When I asked the staff what was happening she seemed extremely stressed and shared she is the only one there !

Disappointing experience
Attended the Kingston tenpin site due to reading poor reviews of the Croydon site. On arriving I had to remind the staff to add the additional bowlers to the system even through we booked for three people. On adding the additional bowlers i became aware of the lights not working at the end lane and informed the reception desk. I was informed that they were not working and could be moved to another lane. I declined as other lanes were available and didn't want to move my belongings. However new parties which arrived after us also were placed in lanes with non working lights with other lanes staying empty. In short will not be returning any time soon.

Bowling, I would go again
It was good fun and the staff were nice, basic bar with cheap pre made cocktails. Fun to be able to add your pics to the score boards.

Helpful, friendly staff
My 8yr old son & I visited your Kingston location on the afternoon of 29/7. At the start of our second game of bowling, he dropped a ball on his toe. He's fine, but was shocked and in a lot of pain. Your staff got him ice, checked in on him a bit later, and got him a plaster. I think it made a huge difference in his getting through it and I greatly appreciated it (they were also friendly, helpful, and professional in all of our other interractions)

A good experience bowling
We visited on a very hot day with grandchildren having booked online. The venue was quite cool , not crowded and the young woman on the booking desk was very friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our game!

Kept us busy for a few hours with the…
Kept us busy for a few hours with the 1hr pizza package deal, then onto the arcades/ machines... but not exactly the cheapest option to keep the kids busy.
I completely understand that these places are generally run by student's, just doing their best while getting through University but a little politeness and enthusiasm would go a long way and drastically improve the experience.
The lanes are great for fun games and what child doesn't like bowling... however don't expect the pizza to taste like anything you experienced before - as cardboard comes to mind or perhaps the old style quick cook microwave pizza - not so great.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and understanding throughout, even though I ended up coming in three times in total. They were friendly, patient, and happy to help, which made the whole experience much less stressful. Great customer service!

One star too good!
I’m giving one star for the following reasons. 1) the bowling was terrible! The lane wasn’t straight, and the bowling balls were chipped, misshaped and didn’t roll straight, and the scoreboard glitched every game! 2) when ordering food via the app, my family and I had to wait over an hour for our order to even be cooked! When I approached the only member of staff in the entire place, I was given the appalling excuse of “sorry I didn’t know what you ordered, we ran out of till roll!”. To which that one and only staff member gave an equally pathetic excuse of “sorry I’ll get someone to cook your order now” which again I found appalling! And finally,3) the games machines were disgusting! Nothing was clean, and the controllers were sticky!
