I regret going to Terabyte Electronics on 21st August, and would never go back there. I paid £54 online for a diagnosis and took in my unresponsive MacBook for diagnosis /data removal. After waiting 4 days I was asked to come in for the diagnosis. I was told the only problem was liquid damage. I was given a quote for £324 to clean up and repair the machine and was reassured that the data would be unaffected. The resale value was only £4 on MacBack so obviously I asked to think about it. The owner ‘Sammy’ however refused to return my machine. He kept insisting I should go ahead because the cost of buying a new one would be so high. It was definitely a hard sell. He refused to hand back the machine and insisted against my wishes on keeping it another day. I found this worrisome but had no choice.

The next day after ‘Sammy’ allowed me to take my laptop home, I paid for a second diagnosis from a different MacBook engineer. That diagnosis cost me only £25 and was much more professionally done. His written diagnosis shocked me.
He hinted that it seemed to have been interfered with and had the following things wrong:
No Power. Power rails missing so no power to main board.
Thick superglue-like covering on MagSafe port preventing contact.
No fan spin, fan connector had thick film preventing contact
Liquid damage
SSD could not be read, so data recovery could not be initiated. The MacBook was deemed beyond economic repair.

The machine ended up in a worse state after it had been in Terabyte’s hands. Take my advice and shop around before allowing Terabyte to have control of your device.

I sent my phone for diagnostic after dropping it in water. I paid £45 just to have it diagnosed. The company should deduct this cost if any repairs is to be done. I got a call from them giving me details what needs to be replaced and they asked for £170. I decided not to repair the phone because it wasn’t worth it. It’s a secondary phone and it didn’t have any data. I asked for the phone to be sent back to me as I will take it elsewhere to get repaired. I found original parts knife for less then they wanted to charge me. They requested I pay £10 pound for my phone to be returned to me which should cover Special Next Day delivery. Funny enough, they paid £5 to ship it. They over charge customers and you can bring your phone to get repaired other places that will do a good job and won’t ask for such as high price.

Sammy was incredibly helpful and informative when I needed my MacBook screen repair. After coming across a few dodgy places it was so reassuring to be met by Sammy at terabyte electronics. My screen was fixed within 40 minutes for half the price that Apple was quoting me. They are very easy to contact and communicate with and I would highly recommend them for any electronic needs you have

Had some issues with my ps5 not being able to turn back on. The store had to run a some diagnostics to find out what the issue was. I was then offered the better opportunity of a part exchange. This was all done under 48 hours. Very good customer service.

Really good customer service and faster

My Motorola Moto G7 was not starting. Terrabyte said they could not guarantee saving my data but could definitely restart the phone. Terrabyte Electronics charged me £35 "Diagnostics Charge" and an additional £25 for restoring the data of my crashed phone. Thank you very much for being helpful and not giving up.

Sammy and the team recently fixed both an iPad and iPhone with cracked screens for me. They were really quick and gave some good advice on the repairs. It’s great to have a local store with a helpful and knowledgeable team to go to

My Dell laptop collapsed right before a couple of important deadlines, and Microsoft was incapable of helping me. Sammy, on the other hand, was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention polite, friendly and extremely helpful. He salvaged my important files right away and recommended viable and inexpensive long-term solutions. I highly recommend this shop! You will not be disappointed.

My computer crashed recently in the middle of a big work project. I took it to Terabyte who looked at it and advised it couldn't be fixed. The diagnostic service was £42. I bought a new computer from them which was £683. They asked if I would like them to try to transfer the data over for a fee of £282. I advised I would prefer to take it to another shop recommended by a family member but was told as part of the diagnostic service the back was off the computer and they weren't able to hand back my old computer to me. Reluctantly I paid the fee. It took over a week for them to transfer the data, when I advised all I wanted was the photos transferred over they told me they couldn't select files because of GDPR regulations. They then advised the new computer had less storage space then the old computer which was odd as it was new and asked for more money which I refused. After brining in a memory stick they were finally able to transfer the data over. I think they have some capacity to fix electronic gadgets but I think they are essentially a bunch of crooks with an answer for everything. I certainly would not recommend them and told them their customer service was poor and I would not be returning.

Shopping around for 3 Samsung phones for my family in Philippines and more then 8 shops on Kilburn high road but this store got me much better deals then Argos and other local shops I would definitely come back .

Only good experiences so far! Very friendly and trustworthy team. This is my second visit. This time they've repaired my Samsung A51 which had a broken screen. They replaced the screen and its working great. They asked if I wanted a genuine screen or not. I opted for non-genuine to keep down costs. I'll be back if I need any further repairs in the future. Keep up the honest work guys, it's a breath of fresh air!

I tried rice to save my phone from the rain drenched inability to charge. It was way too destroyed for that. I visited Terabyte Electronics who have often given me free advice. The phone is up and running perfectly all in an afternoon. Thank you so very much!

Honestly the best in town. I've used them few times now for a cracked screen recently for my iphone 14 Pro. They always email back a quote and are fast with their service. Depending on how busy they are may affect your time but I've gone in with no appointments after work and my screen fixed in 30 minutes. Their price is absolutely
unbeatable too (email them for a quote)

I cannot stress this enough - do not, under any circumstances, trust terabyte electronics with your precious electronics. The abhorrent treatment and horrendous service I received during my recent visit for a phone repair was nothing short of a nightmare.

I went to them to have both the front and back screens of my iPhone repaired. I was promised a professional and reliable service, but what I got was a catastrophe. After the repair, I discovered that they had not only done an inadequate job on the screens but, to add insult to injury, they had completely destroyed my back camera. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they had the audacity to demand extra payment for a fault they themselves committed. Unbelievable.

The level of incompetence displayed by the staff was mind-boggling. Their lack of professionalism and refusal to take responsibility for their actions left me dumbfounded. The customer experience I encountered was beyond disappointing; it was downright infuriating. The manager (Sammy) was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It was clear that their primary motivation was to extract as much money as possible from unsuspecting customers like myself.

The experience of entrusting my phone to Terabyte electronics has not only resulted in an enormous financial setback but has also caused undue stress and frustration. I feel taken advantage of, knowing that I paid a hefty sum for a repair that ended up causing more damage than before.
