Great company
Normally I buy from Amazon, because of how easy shipping usually is, but I searched google and the vinyl store kept popping up first. I made an order expecting to receive the records in about two weeks. Three days later all my records came and they were packed beautifully. No dings and super fast. Now I don’t expect anything quickly, especially when Australia post is involved, but the fact that the vinyl store went to the effort to fulfil the order quickly is impressive. Pretty sure this is where I’ll continue to buy my records moving forward. Great company.

Such an amazing company! Ordered a record on Tuesday with expected delivery the following week. Showed up two days later, extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. A seamless and easy experience from start to finish. I will be back!!

Amazing Quality and Quick Shipping
The vinyl arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. They sound amazing and there are no damages to the vinyl or the album cover. This is the second time I’ve bought off The Vinyl Store and I will definitely be buying again!

One of the greater vinyl record purveyors of Australia. An exceptional customer care & high class service. A vast array of vinyls to choose from. All my purchases have been packaged like a precious diamond, with absolute care. Shipping & delivery is prompt from payment. All in all "the Vinyl Store" is my top go to shop for anything I am looking for in vinyl records to add to my ever growing collection. There's not enough stars to define the quality of business, so I give them A+++. I'm a frequent happy returning customer and will be their long time fan as long as they are around 🙏🏼

The records are packed with care and durability for Courier the only thing I would say if the Delivery Courier would not leave them out in the Sun as I live Nth Qld and it gets stinking hot and twice they have left the records flat on my Doorstep in the heat. Any way that could be passed on to the Courier company

Over Christmas we had been instructing to take to Local PO if noone home for this reason and a lot of folk were also not realising their items were waiting for them and they returned to our warehouse. We have now gone back to asking them to leave in a safe place. We will investigate what else we can do to strike a balance with customers. Thanks again.

A Xmas miracle!
Because I hadn't thought/planned ahead enough, I made two last minute purchases on the weekend before Xmas - emailed them on the Monday to see if there was any chance they could ship them together, and do it as express post. Received a reply in less than an hour actioning my request - received the records on Wednesday being Xmas eve (and I live regionally, not in the city).
Well done Vinyl Store! Excellent customer service resulting in a very happy child! (and some good luck with AusPost)

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced
Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I have been trying to contact this business for weeks through every available channel: multiple emails, their online enquiry form, Instagram, and other platforms, and I have not received a single response.
I understand that it’s a busy period around Christmas, but that does not excuse completely ignoring customers. All I was trying to do was organise a simple exchange for an unopened item or at least get an answer about a return or refund. The total lack of communication is beyond frustrating.
If something goes wrong with your order, don’t expect any support. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this store.
Edit - the response from the business speaks for itself. No acknowledgment of anything I’ve mentioned besides that the returns policy is on their website, which states “any claims for refunds need to be made within 14 days of receipt of delivery”. A bit contradicting if you don’t even take the time to respond back. Honestly pathetic

Poor service
Your response suggesting my order was sent to an old address that I need to change!! Absolute rubbish, I have never lived at the address you sent records to. I have used apple pay many times...you are the only company using the wrong address. You even suggested that I get in touch with the courier company to correct YOUR error. Don't worry it won't happen again because I've found another record company using the same payment method but coming to the correct address. You may wish to respond with more smoke and mirrors but I will not be wasting any more time.

Hi Chris - we asked you to go to link in Aust Post delivery notice to redirect as was out to order as we do with all customers if this address is incorrect. You did not come back to us and tell us this was not possible. We did not enter the address. We also asked now several times to send the email with your first request to change delivery address and we still have never received. If we were so bad why make a 2nd order. When you contacted us the 2nd time about the address we cancelled and refunded as you claimed fraud. You are making now multiple reviews for same order. Which we have discussed why we did not change in time because we did not see this alleged email you sent which you find unable to ever send to us. It was sent to an address which did not come from us and we tried to correct when notified finally via one of our correct emails (via assessing delivery status and then asking you as the customer to redirect as was out to deliver - that link was active when we sent to you - and this is normal protocol with customers as it saves on time to recall back to warehouse - if we can indeed get back and then resending) . You did not tell us you were not able to to do this until later in 2nd order so we could not assist with a recall in that instance (all compounded by your first email sent to some address we still don't know so we could fix that for customers). But somehow you managed to get the order from the made up address we randomly created - so it is a miracle you got it and were happy enough to make a 2nd order and then make same error with delivery address (which we could have corrected in this instance but you went straight to fraud claim, suggesting we purposely send orders to made up addresses - so we cancelled and refunded and thus raised further ire with your unacknowledged complicitness in this address error). We can go all day with the facts. We help people with this issue every day via the Aus Post redirect link and customers seem OK with this. Your initial email has never been found or can be forwarded after requested for like the 7th time so we can correct any comms error that slowed down our contact with you and avoid this scenario for future customers. We are not your punching bag and we are here to respond to the facts.
Just started buying vinyl
Just started buying vinyl. The will not use the address I give them. I changed the last automated address to the correct one but when payment was being processed it changed it back. They don’t respond to email requests. We are on acreage and the address it overrides to is someone we don’t have any communication with. I won’t be using this site again.

Hi Chris - as discussed - in the first order we believe you did pass the Apple Pay home address into shopify. You need to correct that as we are not in control of that information. With regards to the email you wrote to originally we have asked several times for where it went and to forward to us so we can plug any gaps as we have no record of it at the contact@ or shop@ email addresses. When you finally made contact via @contact the parcel had been sent and we sent you a link to adjust via Aus Post redirect. You never told us you were unable to redirect until the day of your second order. Nor after repeated requests have we seen the forward of your original email which obviously went to an unattended email address (likely a warehouse one). With your second order yesterday (which surprises us since we were so bad obviously) you started with the same Apple Pay wallet order problem passing your old/incorrect delivery address into Shopify and then wrote to us accusing us of fraud for sending to an incorrect address. We immediately cancelled and refunded your order and notified you as such. The error with address had not been fixed and would be ongoing. We did everything we could from the first moment we got your email which was originally sent to an incorrect email address (of which we still have not seen or know where it was sent so we can remove/fix). We get address errors all the time where we try to correct in transit if possible or recall or await for it to return and resend to the correct one at our expense. If caught in time we update accordingly. We have not made 100,000s of sales to do this to customers. It was an error compounded by the first incorrect email you sent to an unattended email and your accusations of fraudulently changing an address we never created seems far fetched. Feel free to vent as you have here to punitively impact our business - but expect the full picture to be shared and accept some contribution.
