We ordered a flat pack mobile…
We ordered a flat pack mobile platform/steps with handrail on Sunday and it was delivered on Tuesday (ie next working day) by Fedex who kept us updated with details. Using the online video instructions we were able to put it together easily enough even though the appropriate implements were missing. We contacted Workplace for the missing components and received these today with an apology. Amazing service and communication from the company, a very sturdy product and Fedex were great too. Highly recommended. This probably sounds like a fake review but it really isn’t! Delighted!!

Shocking Experience
I’m incredibly disappointed with the handling of my recent order. I purchased racking (via Amazon) on Saturday, June 7th, with a promised delivery on Monday, June 9th. I even received confirmation from DPD that my order would arrive that day. However, when the courier showed up, all they delivered was an envelope containing a note stating that my order would instead be delivered by FedEx—without any further details.
I wasted an entire day waiting for what turned out to be a pointless delivery. No one bothered to inform me that the shipment had been transferred to a different courier. Instead of simply emailing me this update, someone thought it would be a good idea to send a physical letter, wasting both my time and the courier’s.
To make matters worse, when I called customer service, I was told that the racking was too heavy for DPD, so they opted to send a note instead. How does that make any sense? A simple email or phone call could have prevented this entire mess.
I’ve now been promised delivery tomorrow—let’s hope it’s my actual racking this time and not another useless piece of paper! Terrible communication and logistics handling.

You’re absolutely right—receiving a paper note instead of your actual order, especially after a confirmed delivery notification, is both confusing and unacceptable. The decision to send a physical letter rather than simply informing you via email or a quick call was a clear misstep, and we sincerely apologize for the lack of communication.
Regarding the courier change, the racking exceeded DPD’s weight limits, which required us to transfer delivery to FedEx. Unfortunately, that switch wasn’t communicated properly to you, which we recognize as a serious lapse on our part.
We’re currently reviewing this incident internally to ensure that better systems are put in place so customers are notified promptly and clearly about any changes to their delivery. You deserve better, and we’re committed to improving.

My 4 star is only for Chrissy sorting out a faulty lock on 1 of our driveway ballards new 1 posted thk U but unfortunately only can only give 2 stars ⭐⭐ for the Ballards now we are actually using them they are such a awkward design we are in our 60s so when U pull them up U have to hold them up whilst locking them which is so awkward trying to hold the heavy Ballard with one hand whilst trying to reach down to lock it as the lock is on the bottom of the plate could have done with the lock on the Ballard it self at the top or something only thing I can say that's good is they are solid give them that oh well shame can't recommend this type unfortunately

Avoid Their Gas Cages
Bought a gas cage from this company and the build quality is terrible! Nothing lined up and the door hinges are very flimsy. Looks like it was mass produced in the far east. Ended up buying a replacement elsewhere. As the saying goes, buy cheap buy twice!!

Recycled smelly product
Fast delivery but product absolutely stinks.
Product was very clearly used with several marks and scratches all over.
Only when complaining do they advise the product is made using recycled rubber, it's not mentioned anywhere on their website.
Also be careful when ordering, any refunds are at your expense, even if the product is faulty. Avoid.

Poor quality product avoid
Purchased a stepladder in Aug 2023 from them and this was a complete waste of my money. I got the first one replaced by them after 2 months, the replacement has now failed effectively 12 months later. As the original was purchased 14 months ago, I was told this is outside the 1 year warranty and I can just buy a new one. Be aware the quality of the product is very low and it will not last.

Horrendous after sales service
Purchased a pallet truck. Came wrapped in steel bands which, despite various tools, wouldn't come off.
I phoned customer services and I was told that they had never experienced an issue like this before and I need to 'buy a snipper' to break it off. So I purchased another pallet truck from elsewhere and I asked them to come and pick it up.
I was told I need to confirm the return via an email, which I did. Only to be told that I need to send it back at my own cost.
