I have today received a wonderful service by a gentleman named Lee. During a busy lunchtime rush, he was very jolly and engaging with the crowds waiting and was really knowledgeable about numerous different elements of his job. He really made it feel like an 'old school local cobbler service' and I simply couldn't let my very positive experienced go unrecognised!

When to Simpson today and the fixed my keyfob within half an hour for 20 quid and it works a treat so thanks guys very nice poeple 5stars brilliant service

RIP off Timsons’ £20 for a standard watch battery. Same batteries on Amazon £4.29 for 6. Device for getting the back off £3.99 that’s a saving of over £11 no wonder all Timsons shops are quiet when customers are being ripped off

Dave at the Shrewsbury town centre branch is a credit to Timpsons. Always polite, welcoming and efficient. Went in to get some watch batteries recently and he was as efficient as ever. A top man!

They swapped my car key fob internals to a new fob just under 6 months ago. The spring opening mechanism already sticking. It sets off the car alarm almost every time i use it.
I went to ask about replacing the battery today a standard CR2032 i was quoted £24.50. Its a 30 second job and a duracel or eveready lithium costs about £3 max retail. I never found out what brand they use. I understand employees make up their own prices. Unless you want to be ripped off I'd avoid them like the plague.

I went to Timpsons in the Morrisons car park in Parcydolay , Aberystwyth today to ask for some advice about my watch while my husband did the food shop.
This review goes entirely to the man behind the counter on Saturday 12th September. I’m afraid I didn’t ask for his name but he can be identified by his love of Ben and Jerries mint chocolate chip ice cream!
Whilst being extremely polite and professional , providing excellent customer service ,he was also friendly , knowledgeable and engaged.
I hope this review gets back to him as he certainly deserves to hear my positive review and my thanks.
If in doubt look out for a young man with long hair and a beard!

I visited Timpsons Llanishen recently to have keys cut and the only person who managed to produced perfect keys that worked was a young lady called Dominique. Previous attempts were not successful but I must congratulate all the staff for their many attempts. I must add they were not the usual Yale key but the one that costs £26 each. Well done Dominique.

My daughter and I visited the Redhill in Surrey Timpsons Store Rob was very helpful courteous and efficient even though he was on his own and obviously under pressure because the shop was very busy.

Picked up a suite from the Hamilton yesterday, the day before my dad funeral. The suit hadn't been pressed correctly or been burned whilst been steamed. Took the suit out the bag prior to go the funeral and noticed the damage. Called the store and told there nothing they could unless they seen the suit today. I explained i was going to a funeral and the guy offered me 10% off. My £150 suit and thats the reply you get.

I visited my local branch for a replacement battery for a normal budget wristwatch

I was quoted £20.

I am in Spain and visited a local jeweler who charged me 3.50 euros (£2.95)

How can it possibly be reasonable to charge such a high amount to simply open the back of a watch and insert a battery which probably costs a few pounds?

This is a rip off so beware if you are visiting Timpsons for this service

Excellent service from Shaq at Purley who was able to get my car key fob working for a very decent price. I thought I would have to buy a new key fob so saved me money. Only took a few minutes so very happy with the service provided. I know where to go now if I ever need any more key etc done.

I needed a new key card for my Renault Laguna and decided to visit my local Timpsons store in Heswall.

I dealt with the store manager Darren who was extremely helpful and he arranged for a new key card and then an appointment to have the key card programmed.

Despite two visits unfortunately the necessary code could not be pulled from my car but despite this, Darren tried everything possible and then quickly refunded the payment that I made. The problem was not with Timpsons, but simply that I had to go to a Renault dealership for this to be done, at sadly a much higher cost.

Heswall is a very well run store which we use regularly.

Excellent service. Had an old but expensive pair of sandals that needed repair. Done in a half hour and back to new and wearing as I write this review. Great service, nice staff, helpful, good value for money.

Michael kors watch taken in for battery replacement already taken on lifetime guarantee. Rep broke strap. Waited 20 days to find not only does he not know how to fix but cannot be fixed. Offered totally wrong colour strap. When told no good fobbed me of saying ring customer service. Rang them and lovely lady just gave me lip service. No email sent as promised to show photo evidence. Obviously they do not take responsibility for breaking an expensive watch

We visited Timpsons in Sainsbury's in Winchmore Hill today and was served by Casper. He gave an excellent service to us. He was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you Casper, keep up the good work. 😊👍

Good customer service and has ability to work under pressure.

Ask them to replace a battery on an expensive watch, and returned the watch broken! Took zero ownership or responsibility! Tried to charge me to repair!
Timpson business model, employing ex offenders! Honesty, respect and accountability to their customers, it would seem, is not top of the priority or business model!
Some lessons we learn the hard way! Taking my watch to Timpson, trusting them was definitely mine.......
