THIS COMPANY STEALS FROM CARRIERS

THIS COMPANY STEALS FROM CARRIERS. I picked up a load on Friday, delivery was Monday morning at 730 a.m. The address on the BOL showed across the street from actual delivery address. This was not communicated to me. Because this was a union job site the foreman signed my time as an hour late. I sat there for 6 hours with no restroom to use or no amenities in the truck. Jobsite dis not allow us to exit our trucks for no reason due to SAFTEY concerns. TQL said they will no pay my detention fees because I showed up an hour late when I was in communication with after hours the whole time. Every representative I spoke to has been rude to me and all stated I will not get paid for detention. I lost the ability to pick up another load due to the time we had left in the day. We will be seeking compensation thru legal teams as this company has settled outside of court many of times due to issues like this. Please dont steal from people, we have to pay our bills too

Our experience Unprofessional handling and poor communicationworking with Mike Owens…

Our experience working with Mike Owens and Tiara Newbolt (TQL) was extremely disappointing.
The load was booked as FCFS with no appointment, yet when unloading issues arose, there was no clear plan, no timeline, and no accountability. The driver was left waiting for days without direction.
Mike Owens, who booked the load, was completely unresponsive to calls and messages when issues escalated.
Tiara Newbolt was unprofessional and dismissive — repeatedly calling without providing information and disconnecting calls when clarification was requested.
Instead of solutions, we were told to “be patient” while the situation continued to deteriorate. This is not acceptable, especially when dealing with a distressed load and a driver in a difficult situation.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend working with these agents. The lack of communication and professionalism caused unnecessary delays and stress.

Cheap company

This company is not honest , lies to drivers and shippers. They don't care about the drivers at all. They are cheap . And dishonest. I wont use them again . Alsong as my dispatch tells me before . Lol I usally can tell with there cheap freight

I couldn’t do it without you!

I’ve had a couple of questionable experiences, but every broker has a different personality. People are more prone to complain then give praise so for me: two bad experiences out of 120 loads is exceptional! And TQL can’t be responsible for customers who cancel. The customer is always right!

Your communication is exceptional, your system is flawless, and you always have time for my rookie questions!

TERRIBLE BROKER

This company is the worst company to do business with. Do not ever ever ever ever carry loads for them. We did a load for them back in the beginning of the year and I had to hound the lady to submit the claim. She wouldn’t give me a call back and I called her at least three times. When I finally did get some sort of response. She admitted that the claim hadn’t been processed And it was just submitted at the end of October. I asked her when it was gonna be processed. She told me it was going to be processed in a couple of days. I asked her a week later for an update and I’m told that she doesn’t know when it’s gonna be processed. They are holding $6000+ of our money for a claim that is $633. They don’t have any sort of answers as to when we will be paid. They don’t have anybody who can assist. They don’t have any supervisors who can address the issue. And to add insult to injury, I was told last week that they’re having system issues and that’s why the payments are being held. Only to be told today that it’s actually because of a $633 claim. This company is disorganized and lacks communication protocols. I would suggest that any carrier stay far away from carrying loads with them.

Not a company to do business with

TQL pushed hard to earn my business, but I regret giving them a try. After they had already quoted me and I had prepaid (even before pickup), they came back with an additional fee. They weren’t transparent, refused to dispute the charge with the carrier on my behalf, and showed no interest in keeping the relationship. My current broker always advocates for me in situations like this TQL did not. Instead of working toward a solution or maintaining the relationship, they refused to compromise and threatened collections over a small disputed fee.

There are many excellent freight brokers out there who value transparency and long-term relationships. in my experience, TQL is not one of them.

For anyone looking for a better option, I would recommend Freight Quote.

I wrote a review a few months ago about TQL and their terrible customer service.
They did stop calling for a while, but now they’re calling and emailing constantly again even though we’ve written them and told them we don’t care to do business with them ever.

As far as we are concerned, TQL is a predatory call center taking money off the table for truckers and shippers.

Beware.

I booked two loads with this company

I booked two loads with this company, and they canceled both without informing me. When I followed up, they made excuses, said they would update me, and then hung up on my call. Because of their unprofessional behavior, I even lost one of my carriers. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid working with them.

Wont stop calling me!

I haven't shipped with TQL, but I talked with them and tried to see if they could save us money on shipping. After a few quote comparisons, the pricing was not better, so we did not pursue any further. However, they have continuously hounded us with phone calls on a weekly basis. They are relentless. I have now told them many times to stop calling, but they continue to call. Sometimes using different numbers.

This is one of the worst apps ever

This is one of the worst abs ever. They take it vantage of new MC truckers. They’ll have you driving hundreds of miles for kibbles and bits. For the guys who do accept these BS routes. You are the reason the truck business is struggling.

Ran a load for this company driver…

Ran a load for this company driver arrived way before it was time to drop load for them to say we dropped the load late. How is it possible when we was scheduled to pick up another load for another company, along with one of the brokers was so upset with my dispatcher because we wasn’t safe in driving in the Arctic Blast we decided to come off the load a day before, so now when we would try to book certain loads they don’t allow us due to her leaving in our file we partial a load they put us on. They are so untrustworthy, they love to get over on the carriers, the will lie on the carriers we will no longer run for this scamming company. Oh by the way we asked for proof to show the driver was late they stated they can’t show us proof as well as getting the confirmation from the receiver that the load was on time.

Kyle McCarty- CHEATER AS A BROKER

I did a load with TQL in November, first there was a 8 hours wait time at the shipper and they refused to pay the detention stating that their customer refused it. Later on after a month they deducted the lumper fee amount from my load stating that they didnt receive the receipt, which is a LIE by the broker - Kyle McCarty. He never asked for the receipt after the load was delivered nor he sent us any request for it, just deducted the amount straight away. However, I did submit the receipt along with the POD and I showed him the proof so now he is saying that its too late to take any action on it as the load is closed in their system. If he would have done his job right in the first place and checked his records we wouldnt have to bear this loss because of him. He really is doing this purposely and looting carriers by such shameful acts under TQL's name. SUCH BROKERS SHOULD BE PENAILSED FOR THEIR INTENTIONS AND ACTS, REALLY DISGUSTING OF HIM!!

AND TO TOPUP EVERYTHING, WHEN I ESCALETED THIS TO TQL, THEY DECIDED TO STOP WORKING WITH US INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THEIR FRAUD EMPLOYEE.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Drivers not allowed on dock since covid. Shipper puts seal on, receiver removes it. Load was short per receiver and we are being billed for it. They have you on tracking but call non stop for updates. Do not haul for this company
