I had been thinking of adding to my whole life insurance coverage, but as we all know sometimes life gets in the way. Hence, I forgot to take action,
Even though I currently don't have an online account, (coverage with them for a few years now). Trusage continued to follow up by mailing reminders. When I finally got around to filling the application, I found the paperwork so easy to complete. I had to ask myself, what took you so long to get this done??

Once Trusage received my application, it was processed immediately and I heard back in less than a week.

I am impressed with how well this company does business. Their correspondence is well written, easy to understand and to follow through. I also like that they have encouraged me to create an online account. Talk about going green. :)

After receiving information from our credit union concerning accidental insurance coverage, my husband Mr. Jerry Dinkins (deceased) decided to enroll in CUNA mutual group aka Trustage with policy number ending in 1913 which is the family plan, effective date 10/01/2019. on December 13, 2023, my beloved husband Mr. jerry Dinkins passed away. I called in December of 2023 to report the loss of my husband and file a claim. After speaking with representative, she informed me that they could no longer continue coverage on OUR family plan. My husband and I paid into this policy as a family whose enrolled in the credit union. Once my husband passed CUNA AKA TRUSTAGE sent me a letter denying me and my family of any future coverage. Why must my family and I be penalized for something we had no control over? This is the second part of my claim.

1. improper investigation on loss of speech and hearing.
2. Discontinued coverage of the family due to the death of my beloved husband.

If anyone is thinking about investing in life insurance for yourself, family member, or referral of a friend, please do not invest in CUNA aka TRUSTAGE insurance companies.

PSA.. My daughter contacted me a week ago who's enrolled in a credit union in Maryland informing me of the package she received from her credit union. I asked my daughter the name of the insurance company, her credit union was advertising, she informed me it was Trustage. I then informed her on what I'm going through with this same company, CUNA aka TRUSTAGE. I advise against her or anyone she knows in enrolling in any of their products. Please do your research in looking for a more reputable company to invest in for life insurance. If I could rate this company a 0 and not a 1, I would rate a 0. I've been appealing these two unfair decisions ever since December 2023 and here we are June 14,2026. How long must I keep rehashing and spiraling backwards and dealing with regret of a decisions that my husband and I made in 10/01/2019?
