Last week I called in to United Carpets Dudley to view some carpets for my bedroom. I was met with a very friendly sales person called Darren. Having explained what I was after Darren showed me the area of carpet I should be looking at and was then left in peace to wander at my leisure. I was in no way pestered or bothered by any sales people (which I liked very much) until I asked for help. Darren was very helpful, explained which underlay was most suitable for the carpet I had chosen, and bearing in mind that I am an amputee wheelchair user, which underlay would be better for the wheelchair use.
I also needed a rug made to my special dimensions which would have to be sent away to have the edges bound and secured. Ismail, the manager, explained what I could have and I chose the carpet to be made into a rug for my lounge and Ismail took care of the rest for me.
The bedroom carpet was fitted yesterday by a very pleasant gentleman called Chris. Chris made the fitting experience much easier for me by his helpfulness with the bed moving and his pleasant attitude. The carpet is now down and looks great. There was no mess to clear up and the whole experience from the purchasing, from the booking a fitting date, to the actual fitting was much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you guys.
I am now looking forward to my lounge rug to be delivered which will be on Monday coming.
I would like to thank Ismail and his staff for the very helpful way they looked after me and made choosing my carpets much more pleasant than I was expecting it to be.

Fitter had quick measure the day before appointment, arrived on time on the appointment day and did an excellent job. Very pleased with the quality of the carpet.

The service was brilliant from start to finish. Staff were honest, helpful and provided really sound advice.

Fitter ended up bringing the radiator off the wall. He didn't apologise and blamed the bracket wall fixings.

My first carpet with stripes fiited on stairs and landing was fitted 2 months ago and was advised needed the thick underlay which I did but the carpet was thin then the carpet on the first step started to show staples and the up stairs carpet in front of door bars were small grippers put the think underlay which I was advised to take after couple couple weeks you could feel the carpet gripper under foot thay sent the fitter back out he hammered all the carpet were grippers were and left dents in carpet went back up thay have put in right after choosing a new carpet down ,not complaining about new carpet or fitter looks lovely my issue is I have been charged A further £100
Fir second carpet fitted by the company and also I had 2 door mats done and a runner done which I paid £70 which means I have been charged for guarantee work which I shouldn't of been The new carpet is the carpet we were looking at first and was talked out of having because would or might go plat but happy to give me second time with out any future problems .looking forward to reply

Helpful and friendly staff. Was told what would work for my flooring gave advice and help when choosing what to have. Also helped with how to protect my floor and products to use so I don't damage the floor when cleaning.

Chris, the carpet fitter, arrived on time and quickly set to work. He was very polite, communicated with us throughout, and did a wonderful job on our bedroom carpet. Would totally recommend Chris to anyone looking for a carpet fitter. Don't forget Chris takes milky tea with one sugar! Thank you so much Chris.

Ishmael (apologies for spelling) at the store was also very polite and helpful and soon sorted our order out, to be delivered and fitted the next day. Thank you to the Team at Dudley.
