Plants arrived super healthy and very lovingly packaged. Great customer service. I had to amend my order soon after initial purchase and it was handled excellently. Very Happy to have found an online nursery I can now repeat buy from.
Wonderful plants & seeds. Responsive to requests.
I asked Victoriana to delay dispatching my small order of small plants so I could be at home when they arrived. This was followed to the letter!!
I then watched a couple of great instructional videos produced by Steve (and Milly with the string!) which has completely demystified tomato plant growing!
I have ordered from Victoriana before and received wonderful, heritage seedlings and seeds. Such a brilliant company.

Excellent company to deal with.
This is my third purchase from Victoriana and I have been delighted with the plants. My most recent order was lost in the post, but was quickly replaced by the company. Great plants and lovely customer service, would highly recommend.
Would give no stars if I could.
Would give no stars if I could.
Rude, unhelpful, poor quality plants
Avoid at all costs

Excellent service and quality product
15 plants delivered in excellent condition, and regular updates on the status of my order. All planted....up to mother nature now. Many thanks, highly recommended.
Really positive experience
Ordered some geraniums and they are thriving. Such a shame to see negative reviews when my experience has been perfect.
I personally wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
Well packaged, healthy young plants
I have purchased some plants from this nursery before and as they are thriving and doing well I ordered again and am once again so pleased with how healthy the new plants I just received are, how well they were packaged and how quickly they arrived. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Go Somewhere Else
Wow.
Exceptionally bad quality, packing and plants. Stay well clear as other reviews depict.
Have the plants look dead and the other half badly damaged.
Will not be using this company again.
Strawberry Plants
I have bought some bare root strawberry plants. They have arrived promptly and 22 days later they are thriving! I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews, I have never had any issues with Victoriana Nurseries.
Awful customer relations
Bought artichoke plants. When I opened them, they had rotted to nothing. They said it was my fault for not unpacking them soon enough. It is possible they had a point but their emails were brusque to the point of rudeness. I asked could we compromise on replacements. They point blank refused. I don't really understand how businesses like this stay alive. I would advise against using them because they are incapable of reflection, compromise or goodwill.
I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews…
I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews before placing my order. I ordered an apple and a cherry tree, and both arrived healthy, well-packaged, and in great condition. The apple tree even had some buds on it, which will hopefully produce fruit this year. The prices are very reasonable compared to other nurseries, and I will definitely be ordering more from this store. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my positive experience after seeing some of the negative ones.
A waste of time and money
I should have checked Trustpilot before purchasing plants from this nursery. I paid £50 for 25 periwinkle plants. At this price I expected them to be small, but I expected at least some effort to be put into them. I expected wrong.
I received a small bunch of badly cut periwinkle plants, rolled up in newspaper with a little bit of soil.
The 25 branches were extremely small, some were turning brown and dying, some barely had any root at all, and some did not have a single leaf.
I planted them, but I don’t expect any to survive. It was a waste of money and time.
AVOID!!.
AVOID!!.. Items never arrived and apparently lost in transit. when we asked them about when are we likely to recieve them, we were suddenly refunded and told that they no longer wanted to deal with us. Customer Service was disgraceful. Serena was rude and unprofessional and we can now see why there have been so many other complaints about her and the company
Proceed with caution with this nursery!
I ordered strawberry seeds from this nursery (Order No. 1251343). They claim to have dispatched them 10 days ago via Royal Mail. When I called yesterday to report that I still hadn’t received my order, I requested either a replacement or a refund. However, they insisted I must wait 14 days before they can take any action! This is disappointing customer service. If you’re considering ordering from this company online, be cautious—they may not fulfill your order promptly, and getting a resolution could be difficult. I also find it concerning that they rely on Royal Mail, whose service in this case has been poor. I paid £2.75 for the seeds and £2.45 for postage (£5.20 in total), and at this stage, it seems like I may not receive my order or a refund. Proceed with caution if dealing with this nursery.”
Damaged goods due to rubbish packing
Chinese artichokes were poorly packed in a floppy plastic bag and sent by APC - entirely predictably they were crushed in transit and only roughly 50% arrived viable. Very unprofessional all round, these weren't cheap - won't be buying from them again or recommending to friends (obviously)
Best quality and quantity basil
Guys, this Sweet Genovese basil is the best!
I hope you’ll keep this variety safe as the differences between yours and an another one I’ve grown are self explanatory.
Yesterday I harvested basil from my hydroponic garden and one monster of yours gave me 38g of beautifully chunky leaves on a stem that weighed only 4g. I didn’t use that but with the smaller plants- which were also spot on- I even used the stems in the pesto.
Thanks!
Moroccan mint plants, received dry stalks with yellow leaves
Bought 6 Moroccan mint plants, but received dried up with yellow leaves! After expressing my unhappiness with the product, was told "this is what we would expect at present and they will die back over the Winter". Suggested to to for return cost, leaving me over £10 out of pocket.
Brought a potted Apple Tree last summer…
Brought a potted Apple Tree last summer (2023), planted it, watered it, protected it with tree guards. This spring (2024), it made no leaves, waited until July, then dug it up to find no roots! Just a chopped off main root (done to fit into a pot by the Nursery or whoever potted it from bare root stock) so it never stood a chance!
Sent photos, Serena replied and told me in had ‘extensive bark damage’ it clearly didn’t, and had been well protected! What she thought was bark/trunk was actually the leader root that had of course been in the ground! I pointed this out to her - no further response! I’ve worked in horticulture and Plant Nurseries myself for the last 20 years so I do know a bit about the industry, and this is poor customer service, and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
