Very bad experience
Very bad experience, has taken almost two weeks during which I have had to order taxis everywhere out of my own pocket and then they only offered to cover £250 of the £750 job even though the garage gave them a full diagnosis of the problem and what parts and the amount of labour they would need.
Would not recommend

The repair request was opened on 05/06, online via the customer portal, however, an estimate was not provided until 11/06, unfortunately, the garage did not provide any information on why the quoted part had failed or how this had been diagnosed as the issue and on 12/06 we contacted them for more information. We eventually were able to speak with the garage on 15/06,when they called us to discuss the diagnosis and the technicians completed their review on 16/06, when the payout was discussed with you and sent via email.
In terms of the payout offered, this is in line with the plan held, the part price offered is that of a genuine part from the main dealer, and the labour time is in accordance with industry standards and your plans hourly labour rate limit.
We are sorry you have been unhappy with the outcome, but we can advise this was assessed in accordance with the plan and the terms and conditions.
Terrible company
Terrible company , asked to speak with person dealing with my case , passed down phone to different colleagues! Clearly says parts are covered , stated works in invoice, still don’t want to pay! Basically making there own rules & ignore you when you want to speak to someone in charge, that sums it up they take your money, but when yuu in need help they don’t want to!
no diagnose contribution! no payment made or contribution of any sort!
What is the point of having warranty if they simply don’t want to help you!!
Avoid joke of a company!

The fault reported related to the TPMS, this system is not considered under the plan, however, the we received a quote for a suspension valve block. Our technicians advise there is no correlation between a TPMS issue and the suspension valve block, and when you spoke with our team we advised to review this any further we would need clarification on how this has been diagnosed. If no further information is available, regretfully we would be unable to assist.
In relation to the diagnosis costs, a contribution only applies in the event the repairs needed are considered and approved under the plan.
As mentioned if further information can be provided on how the diagnosis of the valve block for the TPMS fault has been conducted including fault codes etc, we would be happy to review this further.

I had a contact regarding my warrenty and they were really helpful. I have fibromyalgia and struggle with memory, maintaining information and understanding information given. They were kind and explained everything easily for me and repeated if necessary. Their telephone manner was really considerate. I hope going forward we manage to communicate and get on as well as this first contact has been. Many thanks to the person i spoke to.

Do not use this company! After providing everything that they requested they still refused our claim even though we met all the conditions! Absolutely appalling service!! The garage who were carrying out the work were shocked that they made us pay for work that should simply and clearly be covered!!

On requesting further information for your vehicle, the garage were not able to provide images of your vehicle but the details provided suggested the failure was due to a worn pinion bearing, unfortunately, the part needed is not considered for failures relating to wear and tear and no evidence of a sudden mechanical failure has been provided.

Warranty Renewal
Had several conversations with Rachel Porter about renewing our warranty. She was very knowledgeable, professional and understanding when I had to move our call times, which I really appreciated. Rachel was not pushy in anywa, was really friendly and took the time to answer my questions. Air conditioning compressor noisy, got quote from garage will not pay for associated parts or regas which are essential as part of the job and would not pay the amount the garage wanted for the compressor they found a cheaper one. If you want a cheap repair ok but I would never use these con artists again.

In relation to parts pricing, when a quotation is submitted, we do check and verify part pricing, where an alternative part can be sourced, if this is suitable for the vehicle, this is what we would contribute towards.
Unfortunately, the plan held does only consider listed parts, if other parts are required, including the regas, then regretfully these items are not considered under the plan.

I had a call from Mel about renewing my cover. I had previously had free cover with my purchase and had totally forgotten about it. She was absolutely brilliant. She was friendly and explained everything I needed to know. I renewed it with her and definitely was very grateful of the call.

Warranty First is an excellent company to deal with. I have been with them for 3 years and I have just entered another 3 year policy.
This time I spoke to Alex. Oh my word he did his job so well. Thank you for the outstanding communication whilst setting up my ongoing 3 year policy. I did not feel in the slightest pressurised at all. Alex explained in full all policies open to me even ringing me back the next day, as promised, giving me time to think about each one.
Alex was knowledgable, efficient and highly professional throughout. I appreciate the exceptional service. Thank you.
