The XenForo platform is a work-of-art that is ever changing for the better. The software, as is, out of the box works and works very well. As you use the software, it becomes even better through gained knowledge of all its' abilities and customizable options. The staff and fellow administrators on their website (Xenforo.com) are very helpful and open to new suggestions and improvements for future releases. If you are in the market for forum software look no further. The price is great (actually pretty cheap for what you get). I switched to this platform from another forum software years ago and have had no regrets.

XenForo is truly the best forum software on the market, but don't sleep on its full CMS capabilities which the community has been slowly starting to discover! Definitely a bright future for this product and company moving forward.

Good support, development is a bit slow but of great quality. Support on the forums is good but the main moderator might be a bit pedantic sometimes.

XenForo needs to improve their product for the next major release if they want to keep competing with others alternatives such as Discourse and Forem.

The prices are great too and they offer some excellent addons. They don't need to bloat their current product offering since the main focus should be the forum product.

Our experience with Xenforo has been excellent. Customer service is unparalleled and the forum software is by far the best in the industry. As community owners, we highly recommend Xenforo.

After reading some of the reviews (here and another site) some things I want to say, I see that most of the (negative) reviews on here are false. I have not bought it yet but here is my input on it: after doing my homework on the three paid forum software,

and out of the three the cheaper option is Xenforo and has more plugins, IPB offers cool addons but makes you pay for them, Xenforo does too but not as a big cost to the customer. everyone in the communities I am in own IPB but seems like a biest & Very Costly Chose.

Going to update this after I am an official customer.

EDIT: I am a customer and like it very much but it is useless because I cannot get users to it. also missing a feature where you can copy forum permissions.

In my situation xenForo did not work out for me and did not offer me what I needed. I would even argue that it doesn't offer much over free alternatives.

But that is not the reason for my negative review.

I come from years of using phpBB and decided to take a look at xenForo. At first sight everything looked good so I decided to make the purchase reading that they had a "reasonable" refund policy and with staff claiming that they would offer a refund if the software didn't work out for you. 

Within a week of trying I figured out that it didn't work out for me and I made a support ticket kindly asking for a refund. 

As it turns out they made a mistake in their license agreement and they forgot to put un before reasonable, meaning they have an unreasonable refund policy.

Their staff made the biggest possible problem out of my refund request and denied it and now I'm left with a license I won't be using.

A refund policy says everything about a company and product and a decent company with a decent product doesn't need to earn money by denying refunds of dissatisfied customers.

Don't try this out.

Xenforo is really great online software. but it’s unfortunately missing many great features like user onboard feature, recently used device and lot more features that’s should be added.

xenforo.com forum sofware scammer .created for scam. They banned my license for no reason I am running a gaming forum

Sometime I use VPN to visit xenforo.com they think ,my account is duplicate . Anyway all people use vpn in the World .its not illegall ..after I open ticket . There reply was irritating .

Xenforo i nice software but the issue is we need to buy a lot plugin is we have big community.Except that xenforo is awsome .I gonna move my existing forum soon.

Probably the worst forum software ever, its is very slow and recently their support has been really bad. Also in the vBulletin community there is always free mods and good support, BUT xeneforo want to charge us for everything. I will NEVER go near this BAD software

I was looking to setup a new community and after being a loyal vBulletin customer for 5 years, decided that the software is no longer suitable for my needs and looked for an alternative.

I purchased software from both xenForo and Invision Power Services. After a few weeks of trying both softwares I decided that xenForo was the software for me.

It doesn't have all the features that vBulletin and IP.Board have but in my opinion those features that it 'lack' aren't crucial to the running of a forum and I personally feel that they are in fact just bloat.

The support at xenForo is second to none, both via the official support ticket system and the community forums.

I would recommend xenForo to anyone starting a new community and anyone looking for a change from their software.
