I had a issue of not being able to connect my broadband to my PS5 but after raising a ticket via WhatsApp my problem was resolved in no time.
Stefan was brilliant and helped me straight away.
It was nice that i was speaking to someone with actual customer service and not a robot.
Within in a hour i was up and running!
It's exactly what I've asked for and they've not let me down.
Excellent customer support
Had to speak to customer support twice this week, both for installation issues.
I spoke to Cody via whatsapp and they provided excellent customer service and got me connected at the speeds promised in no time. They were super friendly and professional.
I'd originally been a bit dubious to sign-up with yayzi given some of the reviews you read here and other places around the web but from my experience there customer service has been excellent and so far so good with the internet they provide too.
Issue and resolution 10/10
I recently had an issue with my broadband speed, I have the 2gig package with Yayzi and the download speed dropped dramatically.
Thankfully, Yayzi have a brilliant WhatsApp messaging service and they ran a step by step process and fixed the speeds!
They’re incredibly knowledgable and better than any ISP I have had.
I’ve been with Virgin, BT and Sky. And I can honestly say if this fault had happened with them.. I’d either have to fault find it myself or wait for an engineer who doesn’t actually understand the software side of the broadband and only specialises in the installation.
Don’t hesitate on switching to these guys, pricing and service is top.
Clowns
Install was a breeze, took a couple of days for my static IP to kick in (thanks Stefan); zero complaints so far and the service is rock solid.
Edit: Cowboy fixes left me without Internet for two days. There was a party on Discord celebrating the engineers for their incompetence. Don't.
Overwhelmingly positive experience.
Overwhelmingly positive experience.
Pros
Speeds as advertised
Install was good (it did have to be rescheduled due to some groundwork needed) - but even that was handled really well
Support is very quick on whatsapp and via email
Cons
None so far
Static IP address will be allocated - some network changes / work happening at yayzi's end which is totally fine and understandable
Cheaper than virgin and much much better
Great service by Stefan
Great service by Stefan, helped with everything and remained patient through the entire process. 10/10 service

Great customer service good to talk to people who take ownership. Shout out to Stefan who has been brilliant. Broadband speeds have been spot on really happy I chose yayzi.

Stefan was brilliant in resolving the issue I raised - thank you
Excellent service
Excellent service. Installation went smoothly with City Fibre. However internet wouldn’t work after install. Emailed Yayzi support and they responded immediately with confirmation that the line was live and working. Stefan was a great help and explained how to reset the router as it can sometimes revert back to factory settings. Followed the step by step guide and everything is working great. It’s 5 times faster than our Virgin Fibre broadband
Lack of ownership of contractor issues
***
UPDATE: After posting the review, I received a detailed response from yayzi, addressing all the concerns. It was a bit off the mark, like reminding me that my contract is residential so implying I shouldn't complain about not being able to work from home. However, there is a different from being mobile and able to wfh using your personal internet vs running a commercial business from home (which I do not). Anyway, the sentiment was appreciated and they showed a decent follow up chase to cityfibre. Although they did get my name wrong again - apparently now rectified on their system. I was also contacted by a senior member of yayzi staff who offered a mobile 5g router. I was told yesterday they did not offer these, so this is good that they were willing to do this. It seems that there is a step change in "owning the problem" which is good, hence my increasing the rating.
In the meantime, BT OpenReach have done a temp fix so that I am connected again which is great. I just need Yayzi / cityfibre to resolve the dig issue and ensure I do not have to have 2 digs and that they do not screw the BT infra again. Let's see what happens.
***
Awaiting install and engineering contractors (kellys) unable to route cable to house via BT pipe despite 4 visits. On the 5th unscheduled visit, the kellys crew physically damaged the BT pipe and ripped out my cable, resulting in a loss of service.
First issue is that kellys stake no responsibility and state I have to go via BT to fix their damage. I then raised a complaint with Yayzi.
So the pros: They are responsive via their email and whatsapp channels, and empathetic and helpful to a point. Reasonably clear in their explanations and the information provided.
The cons: Sadly, these outweigh the pros. Firstly, zero ownership. Cityfibre state all installation related activity / issues are dealt with by the service provider. However Yayzi have slopey shoulders and take the stance of "not us, it's cityfibre so nothing we can do". A complaint has been raised with CF but their reponse is the same in that they take the stance of "not us, it's kellys so nothing we can do". Kellys canned response is "we will get back to you within 5-10 working days". Meanwhile, I have no internet.
At the end of the day, I am contracting via Yayzi. It's them that I will be paying each month. As far as I am concerned, they should own the issue through to resolution.
I asked if they could offer anything to get me connected to the internet in the meantime and nothing was offered. No min-hub or similar. Three is zero care that I can now not work from home due to "their" mess up.
The communication / process is also broken in that kellys said at the time they would have to come back out and dig up my garden to get the cable in, so my install (due tomorrow) would not happen. This has not been communicated internally, as I am still getting pinged about the engineer arriving tomorrow (who will show up and say "I cannot do your install because there is no cable") and also still getting charged my install and setup fee by DD - which I have now cancelled until this is resolved.
Other minor gripes. They keep getting my name wrong and calling me by my surname, despite my raising this at least twice. They are also a tad too informal in their responses for my liking.
I will consider revising this rating once the issue is resolved, but as at this moment, I am far from impressed at the lack of ownership by Yayzi. I am THEIR potential new customer, not cityfibres, or kellys. The supply chain issue reflect badly on them aand granted, the problems have been caused by a contractor, but it's still on them to proactively resolve instead of passively waiting to hear back from kellys in 10 days.
Awesome service
Awesome service, and fantastic support.
Stefan was very helpful
Stefan was very helpful, he has helped me get myself go back online. He understood and helped me through the process. Top notch guy
The install went down without a hitch…
The install went down without a hitch and although there was an issue with the initial IP address it quickly got resolved and everything is now in perfect order!
A big shout-out to Stefan for all of their help, I know it looks like I'm thanking myself but I promise there is a support agent called Stefan too 😅
Flawless
Flawless. Email support is fast, internet has NEVER cut out. Totally new experience after suffering Virgin Media for ten years. Highly recommend, super fast, very low latency, and they make is super easy to use my ubiquiti gateway as the main router, just hook it straight up to the ONT and change like two settings abd it just WORKS!
So far loving everything about them. Thank you!
A company that’s doing the right things
All the cityfibre stuff aside, Yayzi are really listening and making changes to suit a diverse customer base.
Stuck behind cgnat ? Yayzi simply don’t use it anymore, you might still want a static ip but you might not actually need it.
No Pppoe. I don’t really know if this a thing but Yayzi only use dhcp. It makes setting up a breeze, some people report that pppoe affects your ping because of the added security steps.
Their support is really good, there is a Reddit offer available where you can trial the service for a month with no commitment, although a caveat being you would still have to pay for the multigig router if that was the plan you took out.
I’ve had one issue that was quelled in an hour by Stefan via email.
The bad:
There’s only been one bad experience and that was that I was put onto an ip address that was based in the usa (but only from a few lookup directories).
Yayzi retired the address range and gave us new ones, which are fine.
IPv6 is rolling out now and I believe they are waiting for a firmware patch for their own routers before it goes live.
They’ve been good, rumours of peering via Manchester might help my ping being in Newcastle (12ms to Google, bbc) but it’s not a dealbreaker, I’m getting 20ms to most game servers I play.
They want to be the best, there are cheaper services for sure but not by much and once you factor in a service that gives you no cgnat, with dhcp as standard, they want to give you the best experience.
I’ve been with them since the start of august and had no down time yet.
That’s all really
Every experience with Yayzi is unbeatable
Every experience with Yayzi is pleasant. They have amazing staff who are always on hand to answer questions with email being answered right away with great patience. Ive dealt with many of CS team who are happy to help and even advise for a better experience. A big shout out to Cody, Stefan & Liam as they have all provided some of the highest services experienced. Broadband can be a stressful service but Yayzi offer the best services for an unbeatable price!
Good Personalised Customer Service
Their support services are the best!
A guy called Cody helped with the diagnosis of why I suddenly was getting low speeds and pointed me in the right direction.
The best thing is that he even followed up to ask me, if the solution worked.
This is in my opinion good customer service!
Yay for Yayzi!!
I have nothing but praise for this company and the way they conduct themselves. I made some initial enquiries and was very impressed with Stefan's relaxed but professional help. I've had issues with other, "bigger" providers who haven't come through for me in getting connected up with CityFibre, but Yayzi, especially Stefan, came through and I couldn't be happier.
Outstanding service, exceptional support and just a rare gem in what can be a cut throat industry. Thanks guys!
Signed up with a skeptical mind
Signed up with a skeptical mind due to Yayzi's short history, turned out it's much better than I thought.
Other providers could only book an installation 3 weeks after I moved in where Yayzi could do in a few days. Although network was not instantly live from the get go, it was fixed within a few days which to me is very reasonable. Communication was clear and responsive via Whatsapp, there weren't bots responses to filter out requests.
I hope this can help them build up a reputation.
Great ISP
I was initially sceptical about moving broadband provider from Plusnet (Openreach FTTC) who I had been a customer of for years to a Cityfibre provider however I am very pleased I did. Yayzi are very clear with their speeds, pricing and T&Cs on their website and the fact they offer a 30 day rolling contract was one of the reasons I opted to go with them.
So far their customer service has been top notch too, after my Cityfibre engineer appointment my router wouldn't connect to the internet so I contacted Yayzi via WhatsApp. A member of their team called Stefan was very helpful, he responded to my message within 10 minutes and before I knew it he had the issue resolved and I was connected to the internet.
