I’ve always been a bit on the fence about paying a fee for a credit card but i do think in the case of Yonder it’s worth it,
One thing i especially like is the ability to pay my balance weekly and that makes it easier to stay in control and i wish other credit card companies would offer that,
I also managed to save £150 on my original hotel booking for NYC using Yonder hotels within the app,
Only had the card for a short time but so far it’s a great card

Love Yonder! The rewards are so good, I love seeing what's new each month, and it always feels like you're getting something substantial back with your points.

Great card with an excellent app and rewards programme. A fantastic choice if you want the flexibility to use your points on more than just British Airways flights.

This is my first credit card. Best service and best offers from them. Loved it absolutely.

I’ve had Yonder since 2023 and, while I still think the overall concept is brilliant, it feels like some of what originally made the card so exciting has gradually disappeared.

When I first joined, there seemed to be a much wider variety of experiences, Yonder Coffee, pubs, sweet treats, grocery rewards and a much broader selection of places to discover. It genuinely encouraged us to explore different parts of London and try businesses we probably wouldn’t have found otherwise. That was one of the biggest things that separated Yonder from a normal rewards credit card.

Now, the experiences feel much more limited. There is occasionally a pub offer, but most of the everyday experiences seem to have disappeared, and the majority of dining options are concentrated in central London. As someone based south of the river, I’d love to see more options across South London again like there used to be.

The way points and partner rewards are redeemed has also become increasingly frustrating and less user-friendly. Having to purchase through specific tracking links feels like a backwards step. TrainPal is a perfect example, the link can open the TrainPal app, but if you then complete the purchase through the app, you can’t redeem the offer or earn the points because technically you “didn’t use the link”. Etsy is the same.

I understand these tracking links are probably part of how the partnerships work commercially, but from a customer perspective they create unnecessary friction and can actually make me less likely to use the offer at all. I’d really like Yonder to find a way of making these partnerships work seamlessly within the brands’ normal apps and websites.

There are still things Yonder does extremely well. Yonder Hotels is great, the airport lounge options are a really good benefit, and I still think the overall Experiences concept is one of the best ideas in the credit card market.

That’s why it’s a shame to see that side of Yonder feel like it has been scaled back over the past year or so. I’d love to see Yonder get back to what made it feel so different in the first place: lots of varied, accessible experiences, discovering new places around London, and rewards that are genuinely simple to use.

Also the customer service sometimes feels like I’m talking to AI

Credit card is good with good benefits and perks.

But the team won't proactively progress disputes with retailers in the same way other card providers would. If you have a retailer issue Yonder won't support you. Choose another provider if you want any refund protection.

You have very limited options if you’re not a paying member, also you can’t transfer the balance to another credit card, the experiences they provide are underwhelming and far from everything! Im trying to pay off my balance and move somewhere else!

Rewards have become mediocre of late and evening is geared towards getting you to subscribe to make it worthwhile.

Poor security this is the only credit card I’ve had where my card details have been compromised twice and both within 12 months using the same vendors that are usually with other cards and have not had any issues

Got the yonder credit card for a trip abroad. On the first day of the trip got an email to say my account was under review and I wouldn’t be able to make any purchases. Completed the ID check but didn’t hear anything for a day so tried to contact customer services and was told it wouldn’t be resolved for at least another couple of days because it’s the weekend. It’s caused a lot of stress and inconvenience.

Slick app. Love the range of offers. Works well and no issues whatsoever since starting use several months ago.

My favourite card. I tell all my friends about Yonder, have gotten at least 8 friends to sign up and girls night location is chosen based on what restaurants are on Yonder that month. Customer service is also amazing, I had my card stolen and £600+ spent on it unknowingly, customer service sorted it all out within a day, the only miss was that they stopped doing the metal card so I couldn’t get it replaced. I joined 2 years ago because I wanted a fee-free credit card for travelling, stayed because of everything else they offer.

A great product, easy to use and intuitive app, with good rewards and benefits, like free use abroad with no fees in any currency. Only thing I would improve is the cap on rewards, if you have the points you should be able to use as many as possible towards a reward, not capped at £60 or £100 for example. But overall great! And the high street banks could learn a lot from their app, rewards system and customer service.

I love my Yonder credit card. I’ve had it for 3/4 months now. Opening my account was effortless, the app is so easy to use, and the rewards are great. Love the fact theirs no foreign spending charges too. Wish all finance providers were as easy as this!
