The service and delivery from Yorkstone Sales have been excellent . The Sawn Yorkstone Paving and Setts have been consistent in quality with a great finish. Jade has been very helpful throughout the ordering process.

Brilliant service from Jade at yorkstone sales, and the stone looks absolutely fantastic. Ordered some aged yorkstone slabs for a fireplace hearth, jade talked us through options and we ended up having the edges dressed, which look great. She even pushed the order through extra fast as we had a tight deadline, and delivery was easy. Can’t fault them.

Dealing with the company has been very easy from initial product enquiry, to sample ordering, and then product ordering. Jade has been especially helpful throughout. The price is fair and replacements for damaged stock were given without making a fuss.
Big problem we had was terrible delivery service. We had about 6 failed deliveries (over 2 orders) and when deliveries did eventually happen, the courier on one occasion would not deliver to my property for no good reason and about 12% of the order was broken. To be fair to Yorkstone sales they did replace as necessary and worked very hard to rectify the delivery issues which I believe was really a problem with a third party courier. For this reason they lose a star but had delivery been reasonable they would have had 5* for sure.

Definitely could not ask for better customer service, Jade has been fantastic, samples were sent out mega quickly, I ordered a bespoke stone to my exact measurements, she kept me updated and arranged delivery for my desired date, would highly recommend, definitely a 5+* rating

Great sales support from Jade. She made the process very easy, communicating clearly and promptly at every stage. She was the main reason we chose Yorkstone over other suppliers.
The stone was delivered earlier than expected as it was a smaller order which was also great - especially in current circumstances where building materials are in short supply.
I'm pleased with the stone but one in the middle of the pallet had broken and you can't see that when they are delivered on a wrapped pallet and you sign for it on the kerbside. That's why they suggest you order 10% more than you need. That's why I've gone for 4 stars rather than 5.

What a great supplier:-
1) arrived on time and on schedule
2) the stones are lovely, different colours and hues
3) fantastic price for what we got
4) our landscaper got his measurements wrong and they sent us more setts within 24 hours by Urgent delivery!

Finally - you are going direct to the quarry so do not expect beautiful polished & dressed slabs. The ones we got were big and half the price of the equivalent elsewhere. (the tumbled setts were great mind you). Our landscaper split several of the slabs, we ended up with double what we ordered!

Definitely would NOT recommend buying from York Stone Sales. Enquired and bought dry stone walling and bespoke made steps to match. When the "bespoke made steps" arrived, they were NOT at all what I had spoken to (many times via email and over the phone) the Sales Person about ordering and NOT as advertised on their website. Instead we were sent mismatched, odd-sized coping stones which looked like they came out of a dumpster! When I told the Sales Dept I was sent the wrong product, instead of receiving an apology and being told it would be sorted out, I instead was dealt with extremely rudely. The Sales Person outright contradicted himself many times and told many mis-truths on the phone, he gave numerous different excuses (each time) as to how it was my fault and eventually was just told flat out it was not his problem. I was told I needed to rebuy (at my cost) what I had already ordered, at almost double the cost of what I had already paid. Besides just receiving the wrong product, which was annoying but we would have accepted an apology and replacement- I have never had to speak to such a rude person before! An expensive mistake to make choosing to deal with this company as now we are stuck with over-priced, offcuts of york stone that can not be used.

Yorkstone Sales, what a fantastic company! I had lots of questions, a reasonably small order and a specific delivery date. I was dealt with courteously, the staff were helpful and the product fantastic! The dry stone walling was a big surprise and went down very well. Thank you so very much!!!!!

Reclaimed mill flags looks to be of high quality with a good variety of stone. Delivered very promptly and efficiently

The admin was not great. I did not know I would be receiving a delivery that day until I got a phone call saying it would be an hour late and therefore would be an afternoon delivery and not a morning one! However the delivery driver deserves 5 stars for perseverance. Apparently there are weight restrictions on both the main routes into my village but he didn't give up; he phoned me and we managed to find a way for him to get his truck to my front door. In spite of the hassles he was efficient and friendly. I didn't get his name but he definitely deserves praise.

The stone is lovely but the pieces are huge. However, that's the difficulty of buyng online in a pandemic and now we have laid the path, we are very pleased with the result - a beautiful colour and texture.
