A note re Insure4Sport renewal costs
I have had windsurfing TP liability through them for the last few years. They just informed me that my policy will auto renew at a cost of ‘only £44.59’; last year it was £20.99.
No reason given for this 112% increase and when I complained and I was offered: ‘a 30% discount bringing the annual cost of your policy down to £40.96.’ (?maths?)
It seems they have sold their book onto ‘ripe’ who are obviously trying to price gouge clients via auto renewal.

I would firstly like to apologise for the way you feel regarding this as this is not what we wish for when providing insurance to our customers.
I can confirm that there is an administration fee applicable which covers costs and expenses we incur in arranging your insurance cover. For example, those incurred in agreeing terms with the insurer, setting up the policy, creating your policy documents, regulatory costs, fees and levies. This arrangement and administration fee may vary according to the policy period, policy type and any optional additions to your cover.

The discount offered does not apply to administration fee's unfortunately so this may be why the discount has only made this amount of difference.
