this is a fine way to send money to your kids BUT

this is a fine way to send money to kids BUT although they claim to “protect” both parties it takes WEEKS AND WEEKS for them to actually do anything. Also…when they obviously have a scammer for a merchant they couldnt care less…they appear to feel that as long as they give YOUR money back they have no duty to avoid taking scammer money in the future. JUST REMEMBER TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD so you always can reverse the charges with the card company.

Yet another Tick Tock Fraudster

This is yet another Asian based fraud schemes advetising through tick tock. They show you a video of something (in my case a drone) with many appealing features. You give them your money and you get a much cheesier piece of junk. When you ask for a refund and a return label (and provide them with a picture of their offering as well as one of what you got) all you get is an apology that you arent happy but a claim that they sent what you ordered.

no one ever responds from customer service and we never got a single issue

Something is terribly wrong at this company. They are one of the oldest publications in the united states. They have some of the most well recognized writers and editors. I WANTED to get this magazine. Alas...we never did and although they list 2 "customer service" numbers there is never anyone who answers them, no one responds to emails and chats never get beyond the bot..shame on you The Atlantic!

customer service from hell

I wont bother you with the specifics because I might become homicidal reliving the experience. Suffice it to say I lost an hour of my life last week trying to fix a problem THAT WAS AT THE VERIZON END (the tech I spoke to said they had been "getting a lot of calls about this issue"). Alas...that fix didnt cure the problem so I called back and despite the BOT telling me it was a 4 min wait to speak to a human it took 17. I then wasted yet another TWO hours while my call was moved to a supervisor who had to get help from her supervisor AND her "tech team"...thats a total of 3 hours for verizon to theoretically fix THEIR problem and only time will tell if they realy did.....get a walkie talkie, yell out the window, get a ham radio...anything has to be better than these clowns!
Update: no repair...called back...2 more hours...stunning...how are these people in business..."Too Big to Fail"?

customer service from hell

These folks are scammers

These folks are scammers. If you try to contact them it can only be on their platform. They always promise to respond in 24-48 hours. I have tried 4 times and have gotten no where . Finally found a charge they had pushed through even though it was declined the previous day. I notified them immediatly to cancel. Was told it had to "show in the system" and to try in 24-48 hours (starting to see a pattern). I assumed things were resolved since I heard nothing from them but then the item arrived. I have offered 3 times to send it back as long as they send a label....no response. Found a customer service number and was told there are no refunds...WHAT A SHOCK. These folks claim to be a Veterans Organization....guess who the Department of Veterans Affairs never heard of them. Given the accent of the person I spoke with at their 3rd party pay portal and the person I spoke with at their customer service perhaps its just a misunderstanding...it is for the benefit of veterans from another country????!!!

Good experience for months ( other than one big delay when they claimed to be backordered).... web site says they filled my renewals on 7/1 . They never did and now claim to be backorder AGAIN. For a month?????

Total scam using Kershaw Logo

this place has stolen Kershaw's logo etc and appear to be a legit web site....NOT! I tried to buy a knife and they only take paypal...no problem except that somehow I was charged the purchase price 3 times by 3 people all in the same paypal process. Needless to say...Paypal wont even TRY to explain that but at least, after a long long process I was able to get everything reversed. I tried to contact the company....no phone number and attempts to contact by email were "temporarily unable to connect...please try again later"

Do not buy a knife from this company!

This company appears to focus on shaving related products...this review is not intended to offer an opinion in that area. HOWEVER, for some reason they also decided to try to enter the pocket knife market. MISTAKE! I purchased 2 of their Model 223 OTF knives and gave one as a gift. BOTH started top malfunction (they wouldnt come out and/or go back in) within a very short time. I thought perhaps there was a defect so, to the company's credit, I received a shipping label (this took about 2 weeks and 3-4 emails). I shipped the product back and that's when things started to go bad.

First of all...I heard nothing for weeks. Then, after 2-3 emails I was told the knofe would be shipped out that day or the next. Alas, that was not to be the case. In fact, a week later when I asked for a status update I got a tracking number showing something had been delivered to Idaho (I live in WI)...I raised this issue immediatly and many days later was told that it was my fault because "they ship to the address they are given". When I sent them their original order confirmation showing my WISCONSIN address they changed their story.

At thios point they had had my knife for 1 1/2 months. I was getting pretty frustrated especially given that I had been told that the knofe was fixed and on its way back many weeks prior...now they were saying that their "knifesmith" had just finished working on it and that the problem was that it had dirt in it.

Let's assume that really was the case....what is someone doing making a pocket knife that is useless after sitting in a pocket no more than 2 weeks and having been "used" no more than 7 times (under conditions that had no "dust")????

So..between the quality of the knife (it came very dull for a place that sells razors!) and the fact that it is effectively useless given its inability to handle seemingly any dust AND the stunningly bad customer service (I particularly liked being blamed for giving a wrong address) these folks get one star!

Wish more companies were like this one!

Not only did I get a great price (and an immediate authorization code that worked flawlessly) but when I realized that we had made a duplicate order I contacted the company and they immediately gave me a refund. What's not to like?

Bait and switch...buyer beware!

I went to Groupon. The "fine print" cautioned me to be sure to click a link to see what flower options would be available. I did and I found something I liked. I bought the Groupon and when I went to redeem it (moments after purchasing) low and behold...the assortment I wanted was no longer available. Unreal!

virtually worthless warranty/customer support

During the pandemic I was faced with either buying a GE refrigerator or using block ice (thank you supply chain issues....). From the day the unit was plugged in it made various levels of noise when running which spanned an acceptable hum all the way to a deterimind hammering. I had repair techs out twice to no avail (both pronounced the problem "ice hitting the fan" and replaced the same gasket.
By the third time was the unit was out of warranty (it is a COLOSSAL hassel to call customer service and deal with the Bot you have to handle first so I procrastinated since the unit might be noisy but at least it worked). To my surprise someone handed me to "customer service" (despite the fact that this is the "selection" I had made with the Bot). THAT person was very nice, extended my warranty and sent a tech out. I thought my problems were over.
WRONG! The tech arrived, pronounced the problem to be "ice hitting the fan" and said the only cure was to turn off the fridge, open the freezer, take everything out and blow warm air into the compartment. I did that. For 5 hours I did that. The fridge section (the doors of which I obviously left closed) registered 46 degrees. The freezer compartment was dry as a bone.
I buttoned it back up...turned it on and got the worst banging I had ever heard. But after a while it went to a hum so foolishly I thought we had prevailed...DUMB ME! THE UNIT IS RIGHT BACK TO WHERE WE STARTED...WHEN IT RUNS IT EMITS ANYTHING FROM A HUM TO A VERY LOUD CLATTER.
So back to GE I went. Isat on hold for 1.5 hours and finally spoke to someone. She found my records and asked if she could take a moment to review them. She put me on hold, the muzak played and I wasted another 35 minutes of my life only to suddenly get the Bot saying that everyone was very busy, that it would be a very long time before they could talk to me but to save me unnecessary headache I could have them call me back. Having had the dubious honor of using this system before I punched the appropriate number.
I HAVE NOW BEEN WAITING 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES FOR A CALL BACK. You might think that the person who apparently got disconnected from me the first time (and in saying that I am being generous...)could have called since she had my number...you would think wrong. I have wasted the better part of 4 hours of my life. My unit still doesnt work and I dont even have an appointment for a service tech to come out......DO NOT BUY A GE APPLIANCE.

Run away!!!

Total scam! Ordered a tool...payed with PayPal....got confirmation showing the company's address as the "ship to". Thought this was just a mistake so sent an email...it was bounced by Google. Filed a complaint with PayPal...got refund IMMEDIATELY (which for those who dont already know it means PayPal already knew they were scammers...now why they let them use PayPal still is anyone's guess!)

confusing because they have 2 websites!

This place SOUNDS great (they have very good prices and pop up on GoodRx) until you find that your own doctor cant send in a prescription...so then, for example, if you want an antidepressant, you need to pay a pile of money for a consultation.
This would not be so bad except that on the home page they have a section for private prescribers suggesting that they ask their patients if they would like them to call their prescription in to Ro! Seriously?
Update....I originally gave this group 2 stars because of the issues above BUT it turns out that even though you get sent to Ro.co by goodrx (and experience the above issues) these folks also operate Ro pharmacy which is legit, has great prices and good people. They lose one star because of the confusion caused by their name choices (and the inherent confusion in Ro.co where they offer a prescriber the option of using their system but only accept prescriptions at Ro pharmacy) but otherwise they are pretty darn good...give them a look if you pay for your drugs on your own.

Hertz and the old "bait and switch"...it should be ashamed!

I rented a car on line...I opted out of insurance coverage as I had done dozens of times before. I arrived at the airport and was told that I either had to have an "insurance card" or pay for insurance. I pointed out that I had paid for a car w/o insurance, had never been asked for proof of insurance at that time or in any prior rental "experiences", and was never even issued an "insurance card" by my carrier. Tough...no card or extra insurance charges...no car.
It had been a long day...I paid thinking Hertz "corporate" would see how silly this was and give me back my money. WRONG...it took almost 2 months for them to respond to my online complaint and all I got was "you signed...you owe". I even followed up with a call just in case the absurdity of that position somehow got lost in translation.....nope, "were very sorry but you signed...you owe".
If you want to take the chance on being flim flammed like I was...rent from Hertz!

Landline replacement?...run away as fast as you can!

I bought a Straight Talk box at Walmart a number of years ago. Keep in mind that the way this works is it connects to a Verizon tower and you effectively turn your landline into a captive cell phone connection. Things worked reasonably well (not great but hey..its Verizon!) for a number of years but when they called and told me I had to buy a new "base station" because they had "upgraded their hardware and software" I should have cut and run then. But stupid me!
So...a few weeks ago our "base station" would no longer allow outgoing calls. Not a super big issue as we all have cells but now and then this little "issue" was proving to be a real PITA.
So...having had experience with ST customer service before I braced myself for the ordeal to come. And what an ordeal it was.
An aggregate of 7 hours on the phone with these clowns...countless repeats of the same "solutions" (since no one can see what the last person did in your records and their system is so unstable (or the "customer service" folks just terminate the call once it appears that they cant help you), two promised call backs "to be sure everything is working fine after the software gets a chance to reboot on the system" (no calls...no reboot...no nuttin!), a new SIM card (and a 4 day wait for it to arrive with not one change other than the chance to do everything over and over and over again.....THEY FINALLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM. Miracle of miracles....my base station "must" be defective. But gosh...it is more than a year old so you need to buy another. As I recall the saying goes something like this....
Screw me once...shame on you.
Well....its not going to happen again....I am getting as far away from these clowns as I can.
