Studying A level Politics. Sadly, the materials are not updated which is disappointing .For example, there is nothing about Brexit or the rise of UKIP for example. The course materials frequently state that Brexit is highly unlikely to happen because it is too difficult for the UK to extricate itself from the EU.As I have not yet studied US politics I do not know if there is anything on the rise of populism and the election of Trump. Most material seems to end at 2015 which is not helpful at all as this requires a lot of extra work on the student's part to fill in the gaps which I feel should be there. When I left a message on the forum for this no one got back to me at all and that was at least six weeks ago. 20/10/20Thank you for your clarification - will check out the syllabus. Would have appreciated being given this info when I posted a qu to the tutor, weeks ago. Only took 7 mins on here! Communication could be improved.

I had gaps in my education throughout my teens and thought Id give it another go a year later, I was given a great deal by Kieran, and the service provided has so far been phenomenal. The courses are laid out so that progression is built up perfectly constantly expanding on what you need when you need it, easy to follow and includes websites and videos to help explain more difficult to grasp concepts. Really happy with my purchase would 'HIGHLY' recommend to anyone looking to re do their GCSES or A Levels, or even students currently studying to get another view on the subjects. absolutely GREAT!

I am studying in France and this has been a brilliant way to do it! The support is great. I'm doing IGCSE French and I can take my exam here in France, which is fabulous with the Covid travel restrictions. I'm really enjoying the course, it's clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend!

During Covid, decided to do A-level maths to keep busy and found this provider relatively cheap. I wanted to give this course 3.5, but there was no option for that.
Pros:
Easy to access and use,
Well organised syllabus nice gradual build up in difficulty,
Tutors friendly and try to be helpful.
Cons:
Sometimes things not explained in the easiest way to understand. In inverse functions, for example, it's easier to just swap x and y around. X-stretches as well can just be described as 1 over the scale factor x by the horizontal distance of points.
Sometimes tutor a little slow responding to questions but helpful once they did. The assessment quizzes at the beginning of the course were great but these didn't continue throughout the course.

Very easy to get started, more so than other companies. The course material is interesting but some of the videos didn't work. There were a few typo's in the material.

Great and easy to use. Enjoy the flexibility of studying online.

I have updated my experience with Absorb to 5*
The reason for this is that they continue to develop and improve their services across the board, their support for the children has been fantastic prior to and throughout covid lockdown. Equally as important is I have children that have come away with good knowledge of their chosen subjects and great grades to boot.
I would recommend Absorb to anyone considering online learning for their children (as I did) or even as an adult learner. You would be pressed to find anywhere this supportive across the board and so rich in different learning mediums for an all round educational experience.

I would highly recommend Absorb Online Learning. They offer GCSE , A Level and international A level courses.
The course fees can be paid monthly, the tutors are friendly and there is a group email contact for the courses.
I have revisited the A-Level Classical Civilisation course I took previous years.

On enrolment of my IGCSE History and 'A' Level courses my enquiries were dealt with in an efficient and helpful manner.

I was very impressed with the communication from two of the Tutors I was in contact with. The structure of the learning appears to be very well organised. We were looking at other options but Absorb Online contacted me immediately to answer my concerns. The Tutors clearly understood our concerns and gave good explanations to us. As my son is doing multiple GSCE courses it really made a big difference to the overall cost so that was a pleasant surprise. So far so good.
