Harvinder helped me find a better quote for my car insurance thus saving me some money. She was both helpful and polite

Once through to the team the service was very helpful but the telephone system to get hold of you was very frustrating. Straight into a queue with wait over 10 mins; ring back service worked but usually took 24 hours. Infuriating when trying to get back in touch to answer questions. Two weeks of phone tennis on this system to sort out the renewal.

Standards are slipping considerably after having used them for many years. I will start looking elsewhere.

i have used academy for years. and been very satisfied. they are friendly and helpful. however this year i had a problem contacting them. no doubt there was a good reason for this. overall they are great.

I was looking for driving instructor insurance everywhere, couldn't get the right one but finally talked to Harvinder from Academy insurance. She was very clear and helpful and provided me with the right insurance. Would highly recommend them.

Absolutely appalling service. You are told 10 minute queue and are cut off after half an hour waiting. You use their call back service and they call you back the next day. Only to be told they are inundated with calls but are short staffed. They must be losing so much business. They were so much better as GSI until they become Academy. Have now gone else.

I was looked after very well, by the staff taking the call, and even got one of my policies cheaper

Quotation was quick and quite acceptable.

I’ve been with this company for many years, however it seems the last few years their standards are slipping. Not receiving renewal quotes in good time and having to chase them. Then when I am chasing them it’s taking hours to actually speak to someone on the phone as continuously stuck in a queue! Seriously thinking of going elsewhere!

I have been with this company in its various guises for many years,with complete satisfaction, but since latest reorganization it appears to be very disorganised, almost impossible to speak to a representative and in fact they have failed totally to advise me for my renewal which has resulted in my vehicle policy actually expiring several hours before I finally was contacted by the company after numerous attempts to get in touch with them to discuss renewal. This has now all been sorted in an excellent manner by their representative Harvinder Kalsi.l cannot speak too highly of this lady, she apologised for the failings of the administrative side of the company that she is employed by.
I found that the whole renewal process for both house and vehicle policies to be very poor yet they still have the audacity to charge a £75 administration fee!!!?
It beggars belief, because if I hadn't questioned the renewal both policies would have lapsed.
They should be very grateful that they have someone of Harvinders quality on their staff.
SHE IS THE ONLY REASON I HAVE NOT TAKEN MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Please bring back the level of customer care of the Glynwood days! Yes I’ve been with the company a long time and I’m happy to say I’ve not had need to call on their help with anything. When things went wrong the support you’d expect from having a broker to help, was not only non existent, it was their error that set me on the path of Insurance purgatory.

Sadly the overall service has been on the decline to the point of having Academy Insurance as my broker appears to be of zero value anymore. The companies expansion has gone beyond its abilities to manage in any kind of customer focused way.

I called early April for a simple windscreen replacement, through lack of training of call handlers, I was directed by Academy Insurance to screen fitters who were not the approved fitters for my insurance company, neither was I given options on which routes were available to me. The fitters sent, fitted the wrong screen and damaged my vehicle in the process! They had three attempts to get the job right and on each occasion failed! This followed by lack of continuity in communication, and being given mis-information by Academy Insurance at best or lied to at worst. It has taken six months to get to the point of my vehicle gaining approval for the rectification of the damage done.

I’ve spent hours and hours of my time trying to get this issue resolved. It has been frustrating at every single juncture. It took a particularly diligent team member at my insurers complaints team who agreed to remain as one point of contact to finally get the matter on course to resolution, eventually a CSM at Academy Insurance got involved to help move things forward too.

I Mr Qasim Mahmood spoke to Harvinder yesterday. Harvinder had exerllent communication skills explained to me everything I need to Renew my House insurance. with Harvinder help, I've Renewed my House Insurance with Academy Insurance. Excellent service by Harvinder. 10 out of 10 😀👍.

I am missing the personal visit in Swindon I like to ba able to talk face to face

Since Academy Insurance have been taken over the service from them is very poor, you can never get through to the person you want to speak to, your told messages have been left but they never reply to you. We used to spend £10k per annum but will be finding a new Broker next year. I would advise you to avoid.

We have multiple policies with Academy and my latest dealing with Aaron Smith was excellent. Aaron's patience and understand of my requirements allowed for every thing to be sorted to my satisfaction.
I highly recommend Academy to my family and friends.
